- karendJ4546IW0 contributionsAyurvedic cooking made enjoyable and simpleAnju's Ayurvedic cooking classes are second to none. She loves cooking and preparing delicious Ayurvedic meals and this enthusiasm is communicated to the students who take her classes. All the ingredients are organic and fresh. Some of the herbs are from her own garden. Anju is very talented at combing theory and practice. She explains what the herbs are used for and demonstrates how to combine the ingredients to ensure the best in flavours and taste. She has a great range of recipes to share with her students and the classes end with a sumptuous meal - more like a feast.Written 9 February 2025

- christinanO5515NF0 contributionsPersonalized regional cooking class in home kitchen done with kindness and care!Anju was a phenomenal hostess and cooking instructor! What I appreciated most about the experience was the personalized instruction, details regarding the measurements and pre-cooking prep process and the fact that it was all done in her beautiful home (Om Homestay) in the kitchen where she cooks for her family every day. We prepared several courses including Chai Masala, Chapati, Jira Rice, Dar Taka, Matar Paneer and Halwa (traditional desert from this part of India). I highly recommend this experience!Written 1 February 2025

- Tourist636026583810 contributionsBeatles Ashram: A Journey Beyond ExpectationsI'm so glad I opted for the guided tour of the Beatles Ashram—it truly exceeded my expectations! The tour was not only fascinating but incredibly well-organized, with a guide who was both informative and deeply knowledgeable. We learned so much, not just about the Beatles' connection to the ashram, but also about its rich religious and cultural background. The guide’s depth of knowledge about the history and significance of the ashram really brought the experience to life. He took the time to explain the details behind the various buildings and their associations with the Beatles, offering insights that we would have easily missed on our own. What really stood out was how generous the guide was with his time, making sure we had a thorough understanding of everything we saw. I highly recommend investing in a guided tour if you're visiting. It's worth every penny—you’ll walk away with a much deeper appreciation and understanding of this incredible place. Thank you for making my visit so memorable!Written 4 October 2024

Besides learning the recipes, we also got lots of tips and tricks for making food that’s not only delicious but also healthy and Ayurvedic. Our host, Anju, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. It wasn’t just a regular cooking class—she included some Ayurvedic principles too, and explained everything in great details.Written 4 October 2024

Her knowledge of herbs and spices is second to none and she patiently explains how to turn ordinary ingredients into mouth watering, varied dishes. She also makes a variety of breads and chapati as well as delicious sweets. I have no hesitation in recommending her sattvic traditional cooking classes.Written 23 September 2024
- danielmN5901JZ0 contributionsBrilliant Beatles tourThe tour of the Beatles ashram was absolutely excellent, and the guide was informative and knowledgeable. We learnt a great deal about the religious background of the ashram as well as the buildings associated with the Beatles. The guide was really generous with his time, and I am so glad I paid for this rather than going round not knowing what I was looking at. Thank you very much!Written 11 August 2024
