Beautiful Palace well worth exploring - garden of the Princes runs along the river which we’ve yet to do. Clean friendly and very charming that’s Aranjuez. Love it here. - jbrover0 contributionsLovely TownLocated South of Madrid (approx. 30 minutes) this town is known as the "Summer Holiday" place of the Royals. With its Royal Palace (Palacio Real de Aranjuez) and Gardens it offers a great step back into the 18th-century. It is definitely worth while taking the local tourist train for a trip around the gardens as well as taking a further stroll through them to appreciate the green, sculptors and fountains even more. In the summer, a 19th-century steam train, built to carry strawberries to the market in Madrid, runs between here and the capital.Written 8 June 2018

The guide, a local, had plenty of knowledge on the city, the history and legends of the sites on the tour, and was passionate about it. He made the tour entertaining and fun. He carried along photographs, diagrams and paintings to help illustrate and understand the visited areas much better. After telling the guide we were not in a hurry, we even got an extra half an hour for free. Very well worth the money, would definitely recommend!Written 14 August 2017

The guide explains not only the history of the palace and building sourrinding but stories about legends and misteries making the time pass very quick. Our children of 5 and 6 years enjoy the visit thanks to the lanterns they were playing iluminating the scenes. We booked the night visit and the following morning the essential visit to Aranjuez. The experience has been great. Both visits complement each other perfectly to give a glimpse of what the life of kings was like in past centuries. Francisco is a magnificent guide, pleasant and dedicated, he allowed us to interact and ask questions without problems, his explanations were very didactic and entertaining. Highly recommended.

Mi pareja y yo hicimos la visita de Misterios de Aranjuez y fue una experiencia buenísima y totalmente recomendable. El guía era una persona que sabía mucho, lo explicaba muy bien y la verdad que lo pasamos genial, muy agradecidos. Totalmente recomendable, repetiremos la experiencia.
