NASA's Space Center Houston and City Sightseeing Tour
From USD 79.95
Overview
Discover the history of American space travel with tickets to NASA's Space Center Houston, where you can see everything from full-sized rockets to rocks brought back from NASA missions. Plus since this combination package includes round-trip transport and a sightseeing tour of Houston on a double-decker bus, it's a great way to get your bearings in a vibrant city.
What to Expect
Make your way to a central location in downtown Houston to board an open-top bus for a guided tour of the city. See Hermann Park, City Hall, and the Museum District, while listening to recorded commentary that's full of local facts and stories.
Next, continue by coach to the Space Center Houston, where scientists and astronauts launch rockets and space programs for NASA. There's also a tram tour of the Johnson Space Center included. Watch NASA staff at work, check out the former and current mission control centers, and see the Saturn V rocket, one of the most powerful rockets ever built.
Don't miss the space shuttle replica, Apollo 17, and the International Space Station Gallery's interactive exhibits that explore life on board.
Following your free time at the Space Center Houston, meet back up with your driver for the return trip to downtown Houston.

Some Good Some Very Very Bad!

Our Houston City tour was fantastic. Very enjoyable! We drove out to NASA which is about a half hour drive, only to discover it was closed. Disappointing but hoping someone will get back to us with a refund.

Was expecting something else

This is not a trip that you would like to do. It is not within the beltway in Houston plus the place you could really cover the whole thing in less than 2 hrs. It is cool, but def would not go again.

Great for kids

I expected a well maintained facility and instead it needs some pressure washing and paint everywhere, it is worn down. The actual tourist building has many activities for families and can be very useful in training our youth.

Might as well...

The exhibits are great, the space shuttle and the rocket are awesome. Also pretty cool to get into the control room and the working training room. With a one year old the tour is not stroller friendly so be prepared to carry any kids. I...More

Yep, that'll work. Be there early because there's lots to see. As per above, you can have (mediocre) food at NASA, but there's plenty of places around where you can get a bite to eat.
