About
To understand what happened that fateful November day, one must walk in the assassin's footsteps.
This self-guided tour takes you back to Dallas in 1963 as these events unfolded. The experience is based on an interactive map that allows you to follow the route at your own pace while historian and professional guide Gary J. Lovell narrates the story and gives instructions on reaching the next point of interest. You will walk around five blocks on this tour.
To enhance your experience, during the narration, we have embedded videos, images, and original soundbites from the events as they took place.
There is nothing to download and no special equipment; you only need your phone and headphones to listen to the story and immerse yourself in the experience.

About the operator

- 919mireyag0 contributionsBest of DallasI decided to book this tour after I took a JFK self guided tour by the same company, Walkind Dallas. Great tour, you get to see Dallas in a couple of hours. You walk around two miles, the tour covers a little of the JFK assassination events, which was an overlap for me since I took the JFK tour the previous day. Lots of recemmendations where to have lunch or a cocktail. Highly recommended.Written 16 February 2024

Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A little difficult to understand how to get the map to follow, otherwise rich in content and good. The tour is not long in terms of distance but very interesting to listen to. Many authentic clips as well that you can listen to.
