      Great tour with Ryan!
Ryan delivered an entertaining and lighthearted tour of Nashville. He took us on a great route around town, covering music, history, the civil rights movement, and tips for restaurants and bars. He provided several great photo opportunities. We highly recommend a tour with Ryan!

Ryan is simply remarkable, probably the best tour guide ever. Extremely knowledgeable, personable, witty, funny, responsive and the girls said he was "easy on the eyes." There was one couple whose English was not so great so Ryan immediately began speaking with them in what they later told us was grammatically perfect Spanish. We highly recommend this tour with Ryan.

Tons of fun, Tons of Information and an Opportunity to Walk Off Tons You Gained from Great Nashville Eats!
Great tour. We had a group of 10 ladies visiting Nashville and everyone was 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻about this tour. It was two hours of walking in interesting neighborhoods rich in country music history and legend. That would have been enough. Our very knowledgeable tour guide, Ryan, also included fascinating information about the historical desegregation encounters in downtown Nashville, Andrew Jackson’s Indian Removal Act and the subsequent Trial of Tears, great stories about the Tennessee tipping point allowing women to vote nationally and a ton of other information. Ryan is entertaining, informative and absolutely top notch. I couldn’t recommend this tour more highly.

Good tour. Ryan with his coffee and lot's of juiced up caffeine energies. Knowledgeable, funny and interesting history of the classic bars, record store, personalities, hotels, parks, etc. Worthy tour.

      Well worth the money
We only had one day in Nashville so knew we wouldn’t be able to explore in depth and booked this tour to give us a general impression of the place. Ryan was a first rate guide who clearly takes a pride in his job. It was a very hot day but he made a point of not just seeking shelter when he stopped but took us into air con buildings wherever possible. He engaged and included everyone on the walk and was easy to follow when he spoke - the highlight of the walk was the Woolworth building he took us into, having recently visited the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis where this Woolworths featured in a display it was very thought provoking. The walk mixed fun and facts well and we would recommend it.

Does just what it says on the tin
A perfect way to start a visit to Nashville, this excellent tour helps you get your bearings, provides interesting historical perspective...and it’s a good laugh too. Ryan keeps up his stream of patter for the whole two hours in a real tour de force performance. We saw some interesting spots and heard tales that would otherwise have passed us by and it really did set us up brilliantly for the rest of our stay in Nashville. Highly recommended.

Tour lived up to its name!
Ryan did an excellent job guiding us on a tour of downtown Nashville. He gave lots of information and history in a fun way with corny jokes and all! He is very knowledgeable and seems to take much pride in finding facts and even going above and beyond to research and seek answers to questions asked on past tours. I found out Woolworths used to have a diner! I grew up with Clifton's in downtown L.A., a historical diner and Woolworths was still around, but only the store part of it. It was interesting to learn more about it and how it was involved in the civil rights movement for African Americans. Ryan gave a fun, informative tour and I recommend it!

Great Start to our Nashville Trip
My husband and I always like to take some kind of guided tour when we first visit a city to get our bearings and this tour provided all that and more! Our tour guide Ryan was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and did a great job engaging everyone on the tour. He shared some great history and stories as we explored downtown as a group - and even cracked some good "Dad jokes"! We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour.

      Really entertaining!
Enjoyed our walking tour with Ryan and he kept us entertained from start to finish!! He's hilarious! Since we started our trip with this, we were able to appreciate Nashville more with all the info he gave us. One of my favorite memories from our weekend trip was when Ryan requested the live band at Tootsie's to sing Happy Birthday to me. Unforgettable! Thank you for a fun 2 hours, Ryan!

      Funny and informative!
On our first visit to Nashville, Ryan did the best tour - very funny, entertaining and showed us both the country music side and historic side of Nashville. How Ryan keeps us this energy is unbelievable, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommend! Thanks Ryan!

      What a blast!
Ryan was awesome! He took a group of 8 on a music/bar crawl. We visited 5 different spots and had a great time. It was a perfect way to spend a night in Nashville celebrating a birthday with friends. I would highly recommend Ryan for any touring needs in Nashville. He's a great guy!

What a fantastic weekend in Nsheville, all made better by our pub crawl with Ryan from Really Entertaining Tours. His knowledge of the city, the clubs to hit, the places to party, was perfect. Being able to talk old time country western, rock ‘n’ roll, and get a real good feel for the city made our experience all the better. The only thing I am sorry about is that we didn’t get more time to drink together. We highly recommend Ryan. Anyone interested in a true Nashville experience won’t fall short with Ryan as your guide.

Ryan is an absolute professional - shortly after we started our tour, it started to rain heavily. He did not let it stop him from continuing as best he could and gave us as much information as possible. After a good hour we stopped. Everyone was offered the opportunity to come back the next day or get a refund.
What we had learned up to that point already gives an idea of his extensive knowledge.

Ryan was a fantastic tour guide. High energy, fun and full of knowledge (plus he's cute! lol). The walking tour is a great way to get a lay of the land in downtown Nashville.
Ryan mixed humor and history and the tour route was well planned to see many of the main downtown touristy sites without any major gaps in the program.

Highly recommend as a intro to Nashville and to take notes of places to revisit and spend more time enjoying.

The tour starts at the Nashville visitors center which is very central and easy to find. You'll get a text in advance with details of where to meet. The whole experience was very easy.

Recommend parking at the Nashville library, but make sure you get library validation before exiting to get the discounted parking.

This was a first class walking tour of the downtown area. Ryan had plenty of interesting stories to impart and he did so with great humour and wit. He uses a microphone which is brilliant as there was plenty of noise on Broadway on the day we took the tour. It was the Friday of the CMA Fest! He hung around for at least fifteen minutes after the tour to answer questions and give tips on where to eat. A good guy and a walking tour I can happily recommend.

We did this walking tour based on strong online reviews, however we were quite disappointed. Having done a number of walking tours in various cities, I felt this tour lacked actual information and history about Nashville. Instead, the tour guide made a lot of jokes and told half-finished stories about the city. There was also no space to ask questions about any of the information, or ask for local recommendations, as the tourguide spoke non-stop, even when walking. The tour did help us get our bearings on our first day in Nashville, though.

I also think it was very unclear from the emails where this tour starts - please make this very clear in future communications.

My friends and I were pretty disappointed with this tour. Ryan was very nice and upbeat but we felt the tour was lacking real historical information. We are a fairly young group (the youngest of the all the people on the tour) and Ryan was talking so fast and sometimes off topic, it was hard to keep up. We had all been on walking tours in other states before, and were impressed with all the historical information we gained, but on this tour it was really lacking. Ryan seemed to be more focused on making jokes and singing, and less on providing historical information. In the end we left early, because it was too exhausting to keep listening. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism, to slow down (leave the jokes and singing aside) and show the rich history and unknown facts about Nashville.

This is the perfect walk with just the right amount of information. I learned about Nashville but in an entertaining way almost making me forget I was walking all over the place. If you are new in town and do not know what to do first I highly recommend the Downtown Nashville Guided Sightseeing Walking Tour. It gave us what we needed to plan the rest of our day.

The guy Ryan was a wonderful historian, and also comedian. He was very professional, and did his best to adapt the tour to the fact that it rained solidly, despite a forecast of no rain. Really wish we could have finished the tour.

One of our group was in third trimester of pregnancy, and I would warn people that there are no bathroom stops.

I booked a reservation here months before I arrived to find out on the day of my arrival that they had canceled my reservation with no notification whatsoever. They had my phone number and email and decided even though they had canceled my reservation a month before I arrived that it was too much effort to contact me so that I could re-book somewhere else. The only reason I even found it is because I called before my flight to confirm my arrival time. When I asked to re-book the front desk staff became aggressive and confrontational on the phone because they knew they were in the wrong and left me stranded and scrambling to find a place to stay last minute. Then they actually hung up the phone as they were screaming into the phone at me and shut off their phones so that you could not call them. This was the most unprofessional and disrespectful experience I have ever had with a hotel. This place is a scam and a shady hotel who operates with a particularly unprofessional front desk lady who was unwilling to right her wrongs and rebook my room. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Ryan was a wonderful guide. He gave a lot of history, along with the historical ramifications of everything to Native American removal, the civil rights movement and sit ins and the suffrage movement. But he did it in a wonderful way, not hitting you over the head with it, but making you aware, and asking the question how can we do better. Of course he gave a lot of music and architecture info as well. And was very funny! Great way to spend 2 hrs!
