This Civil War and plantation tour begins with a pickup from your Nashville hotel. Board a climate-controlled vehicle, and enjoy the ride to Franklin, which is about 30 minutes away. Your first stops in Franklin are at the Lotz House and Carter House. Hear stories behind both Civil War-era attractions, and listen as your guide tells you about the Battle of Franklin. Continue on, and enjoy some free time in Franklin before heading toward Carnton Plantation. The plantation served as a Confederate field hospital after the battle, and you can see one of the largest Confederate cemeteries there.
