It was nice if you just need someone to take you to the destinations and not looking for any guidance. The tour guide was rarely with us, and only talk a bit on the bus. But it was nice if transportation is the only thing you need.

It was a wonderfull experience and tour guide Matt is a amazing person. Enjoyed the unique heritage of trains following it up with sanctuary. Kids will love the train experience which is 1hour ride and you get to sit with your legs outside through the window.

Amazing value for money. Our guide Jerry was very good. Plenty of Irish craic from him. He was very knowledgable and a good driver. Our trip had to be re schedualed and it was delt with very well.

Very interesting ride on puffing Billy. Trip to Healesville made special by the two volunteers who drove us around. Downside was comfort. No toilets or shelters touch up venue and very uncomfortable us to spend the day on. No head tests and access and egress difficult with high steps.

We had an amazing time, our first experience at ‘Moonlit Sanctuary’ & ‘Phillip Island’, loved every minute!! Billy was a great guide, showing us all the wild native animals along the way, have never seen so many echidnas in one day & there were certainly no shortage of wallabies on Phillip Island either!! The penguin parade is something we’ll never forget, thanks so much for taking us Billy, thank you for everything you did for us 🤗

This was a fun trip to the Wildlife refuge and Penguin parade. We had Michael as our guide and he helped make it a fun day. The wildlife refuge has wonderful animals and a great area to engage with the kangaroos. The drive through the National park to see the kangaroos in the wild was amazing. The Penguin parade was great to watch and fun to be next to them on the platform as they walked up the beach to find their nesting place. Overall a wonderful trip!

Very interesting experience! Highly recommende to all travelers. In Moonlit Sanctaury you can encounter koala and take photos with it. And the coastal views of Nobbies Centre was great. Penguin parade was the highlight of that day, our guide Bree helped us find a very nice seat and tell us about the "penguin highway". Very nice guide and tour, recommend to all travellers who love wildlife.

I took my fiancee and her parents for a day trip with Explore Australia, it was a complete worth it experience! The bus trip with Lachie was enjoyable, he is very informative and makes the trio even funnier with his personality and jokes. The Puffy Billy train was very cute, so amazing, my mother-in-law cried (of joy) multiple times as it is absolutely wonderful. Finishing with the Healesville sanctuary where you can see wildlife with such a proximity with the animals and in a more cage-free environment. It is worth to do trust Mr. Thanks Lachie ☺️

The tour included visits to the Healesville Sanctuary and a nostalgic ride on the iconic Puffing Billy Steam Train, offering a perfect mix of nature and heritage in a single day.

It was too long, no need to leave Melbourne at 12:30 if you can drive yourself. French island was interesting we had a great guide however the van they drove us in was really hard to see out of not what is pictured in brochure, but overall trip 2-3 hours too long.penguins don’t come out until dusk but you get to the park 1 hour early which is far too much time. Our guide was nice, we saw a lot of koalas on French island and wallabies on Phillip island but loaded with tour buses. The penguin parade is really worth seeing but you need to buy the extra ticket to be up close or won’t be worth it. I would drive on hour own for sure. Overall I’d say both islands worth seeing if you want to see koalas in the wild and the penguins coming out of water at dusk but not on a tour that takes 12 hours.
