This winery was one of our best cellar doors in the region. The wines were beautiful and the staff were really engaging. They shared their passion and creativity, even taking the extra time to show us around the property. Stuart and Zalan gave us a Rutherglen highlight and we came away with a boot full of wines and fortifieds to enjoy for a long time. Thank you for giving us an inviting and memorable experience.

What a wonderful visit to Stanton & Killeen Winery. We had a great tasting, the wines were great and even better one of the best hosts we have ever had at a winery. Stuart really knew his stuff and was fun to deal with and you could tell how much he loved his job. Yes, we left with various bottles of wine and will return.

Stuart treated us to a degustation of wines and fortifieds, and an unforgettable experience. A master conversationalist, Stuart sent us home with book recommendations, a revelation of a recipe for leftover risotto, a short course in local history, and many, many wines. Everything on tasting was delightful. We especially loved the rose and sparkling shiraz durif.

This whole experience could be classed as the icing on the cake to our holiday. Very much enjoyed the attention to detail of our host Zalan, the friendliness of all, even the doggy and how one left the experience gaining a very small insight into wine making. Highly recommend this whole experience and I would do it again.

Excellent products with friendly customer service. The muscats are world class and it was wonderful to taste the entire range from classic to rare.

Such great people with a lovely atmosphere and so welcoming. We tried all the wines and fortified wine and had such a great experience. Very delicious! We even got to see the wine barrels, great for all :))

Originally I booked a blend your own Muscat via a booking site. I was able to edit my booking directly through Zalan who is the cellar door supervisor. He was very easy to communicate with and accommodating to my plan of proposing at the end of the tour to my partner. It actually couldn’t have gone any better with the environment and visual aspects of the winery an intimate experience for us both (luckily we were the only 2 on the tour). The tour and blend it self was a unique and fun experience, blending your own bottle of muscat. I didn’t know much about muscat or was a huge fan before the tour, but by the end my appreciation and taste for it had changed. Not only was Zalan fantastic, but all the staff were very friendly and seemed to be chuffed that we chose Stanton & Killeen setting for a day to remember. Note: this was be awesome to do with other couples or friends, for something a little different. Also my pictures don’t do it justice…

We had a great experience blending our own Muscat. A very friendly greeting upon arrival and the entire agenda was explained before starting the winery tour. It was great to see the history and age of the winery and look at all of the vintage barrels. The blending was very well done, clearly explained and we were left to do our experiments. My advice is to take your time and experiment with all of the different flavours. The final Muscat is delicious!!

Very pleasant visit to get my supplies. Very informative gentleman explaining each fortified with no rushing. Wouldn't go anywhere else, great winery in a beautiful area.

This was an unique experience.. We got to play chemist with our test tubes and funnels -Fun!! Arranging some form of transport to take you home would add to the experience. Spoke to the winemaker and manager. They were able to answer all of our questions. Fascinating to learn how Muscat is aged and categorized. How and where the grapes grow changed the taste even on such a small block.

Stanton and Killeen offer the most amazing and personal wine tasting experience. The Iberian Wine Tasting features the Portuguese wines they are famous for. It offers an education in these wines, so good that we have repeated for the last 3 years because every vintage is different. It is conducted by very friendly and generous staff who are more than happy to answer all questions. Stanton & Killeen are certainly worth a visit to expand your life's wine experience.

What an amazing experience. My partner gifted me this as a birthday present and we did the experience together. We were the only 2 doing the experience and it was great. Jess took us for the tour and the blending and she was knowledgeable and personable. We felt like we were just spending the day with friends as there was no rush and nothiong seemed stilted; everything was done with warmth and charm. The actual area where we did the blending was amongst the barrels, quiet and warmly lit with rustic lighting. I would recommend this to anyone as the experience was better than either of us would have thought

We were doing our own tour of the area with me as designated driver. These wineries we went to were all very interesting and offered and range of wines etc to taste. I did try the muscat here as it has been a favourite of mine for 40 years. The blonde short haired lady dealing with us was terrific. Great explantations and patience servicing us with the various wines. For me the best place for Muscat. They also have a range in 5l glass flagons which is very good. A place not to miss.

Excellent experience( even for a longtime local). Host Stuart was excellent in his knowledge and interaction with several groups simulaneuosly . Enjoyable time over two and a half hours. Highly recommended. -Warick Thompson

Thank you for a wonderful Muscat blending experience. It was so interesting to hear about the long history of the winery and how your family have operated it over the years. Our experience included a tour which was historic and beautiful, and scattered with tastings of fortified wines typical of the region. We then moved on to blend our own muscat through a guided activity teaching us more about the flavours, aromas and texture of muscat. This experience surprised and delighted us and was a highlight of our trip to Rutherglen (hard to do because the whole region is stunning).
