        Disappointed with tour
Tour was Hobsons Bay Bus Tour on Saturday 10th Feb 2024. We thought the idea was to showcase/highlight Hobsons Bay i.e Williamstown, Newport and Altona, at least a little bit. Williamstown (Gardens and beach) and Newport (Lakes) was great with a little bit of commentary as we passed one or two other major attractions. All of Altona's highlights were driven passed without a mention and although we could see that Altona had a tree-lined beach we kept to a through road to Truganina Coastal Park (great views). The guide had a book of old photos taken around Hobsons Bay. Included were about 6 photos of the old racecourse. We never went near this area which would have been a great entrance point into Altona and the beachfront. I am presuming this is a brand new tour with an inexperienced guide so hopefully it improves.

        LUSH RELAXING DAY
Margaret was amazing! She was such a delight, so helpful and made the tour easy beeezy. The hot springs were LUSH, I felt pampered and relaxed. The look out was so pretty, such a great day for it, clear blue skies and sun out. The beach boxes were so cute and such a nice last stop. All round such a great relaxing and cute day! Would definitely recommend others to give it a go. Thanks again to our guide Margaret making sure we got dropped off at the most convenient spot for the rest of our day.

        Terrible service
I am mum with 2 kids as by plan from explore need to reach the mentioned location at 9 am today which was 10 mins away from my hotel. My Uber driver cancelled my trip before 1 min at 0850hrs. At 0855 driver rang me and asked how far are you? I mentioned driver to wait 10 more minutes or pick up from my hotel. But main office rang me and mentioned driver can’t wait for me. I paid 170$ to Uber reached to main puffing Billy train reached 45 mins before bus arrives. Staffs doesn’t have humanity 😕.

Perfect tour, our guide Margaret did a great job, I love it. It is a pity that we couldn’t do the Koala experience, but still have a super nice family time

        Excellent
Had a great day. Very polite guides who endured we had a wonderful experience. Good wildlife sanctuary where we witnessed Kangaroos and koalas. There were a couple of good picturesque spots where we stopped for a while . The cherry on top was the penguin march which was worth the wait. Highly recommend

Great way to spend the day in Melbourne!
The tour was fantastic! Our tour guide Hunter (and trainee, Leah) were very friendly and personable. The Moonlit sanctuary was amazing as we were able to meet the koalas (paid extra) and hand feed the kangaroos and wallabies. A couple of extra stops that let us stretch our legs were very welcome. Lovely dinner at Isola in Cowes, followed by the Penguin Parade. We didn’t get the best seat (maybe Penguin Plus is worth the upgrade) but after ten-fifteen minutes, people had moved so we could get a better view. Walking back along the boardwalk we saw so many penguins which was lovely (hard to resist the temptation to take photos, but lots of people didn’t). Back home around 12:15am in Melbourne, so it was a very long day, but worth it. Would highly recommend!

Margaret made the trip Exceptional and an asset as a tour guide
We did a full day tour to Mornington Peninsula and Ferry Lunch we visited Bathing Boxes Arthur’s Seat with an amazing view of the bay, through Portsea lunch on the ferry and a sampler of beers at St Andrew’s Beach Brewery. What made our trip exceptional and stand apart from other tours was Margaret with her infectious passion for the country, her knowledge and absolute willingness to make our day exceptional Thank You Margaret you are a breath of fresh air as your incredible commentary

        Disappointed with customer services
Unfortunately our flight got cancelled and I was really disappointed to hear that there are no policy for situations like this to at least refund the amount that has been paid for transportation as the hot spring tickets only worth max. $150 for two people, and we paid $370 it would've been great to get at least half of our money refunded as the flight cancellation was absolutely out of our control, we even offered to reschedule for another time and the gentleman from the team said he will look into it and let us know on the same day, we emailed the team to get an update but we didn't receive any phone calls or email... This was not the customer service we expected from tripadvisor and we still hope someone from the team call us and help us with this matter and solve the problem...

Brilliant day exploring countryside with warm guide!
Trip included a stop in the temperate rainforest in Sherbrooke, before heading into the Puffing Billy railway, and finally an afternoon at Healsville Sanctuary. Margaret was our guide for the day and her warmth, passion and love for nature truly impressed us. She was also knowledgeable and gave us a lot of useful tips and information - guiding us through the forest walk and what to look out for the zoo. She even managed to catch our Puffing train at the intersection and shot amazing photos for us! Overall, a brilliant day, beautiful countryside and warm human touch. Truly Aussie experience.

        Amazing tour with fantastic guide
Well planned tour indeed. Our guide Margaret is nice, always around and willing to help at anytime. Reasonable time was given at each stop albeit a day tour setting. The Healesville Sanctuary was amazing and I really hope we could stay there a bit longer to look at the amazing animals before getting back to Melbourne for dinner!

Winery stops were interesting, our favourite being Pt.Leo which also boasts an amazing sculpture garden. Didn't enjoy the brewery stop at the end though. Bus journey there was very long especially as a separate group had to be dropped off at a hot springs retreat first which then necessitated several miles across unsurfaced roads.

This was one of, if not the best wine tour we have been on. Our tour/driver Matt was awesome - so friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and funny, he really bought the whole tour together - it was like we had all known each other for years.
The day was relaxed, informative and really good fun.
