They were so accommodating and kind. Whole team was great & the guidance given absolutely helpful to keep us safe & help us get the most out of the adventure pointing out sea dragons, puffers, rays, & crabs along the way and giving great info. Such a fun worthwhile tour with the sea dragons. Definitely recommend.

Just wanted to drop you a quick line about my experience with Bayplay and my Stand Up Paddleboard lesson. With special thanks to Kobe, Abbey and Dale, these guys were exemplary. Warm, friendly, inviting, experienced and knowledgeable. I was instantly at ease and the lesson, whilst hard work, was so much fun. I can’t say I’ll ever be a world class SUP master, but I can say the people at Bayplay made it way more fun and accessible.

My husband I had a great morning out on the water with Elijah and a small group of fellow tourers. Couldn't have asked for a nicer day, but Elijah was also great. Clearly he loves his job and the local area and was a great guide for the morning. Thanks Elijah and bayplay for taking us out for a wonderful morning, I think we'll be back for the snorkel trip!

A great experience diving with Bayplay Portsea. Chad our instructor was just fantastic and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. He was a great guide and very patient as we got back into the water for the first time in 2 years. He suggested we dive at Blairgowrie Pier and we were not disappointed. A great day out and thanks Chad!

I booked a refresher course for scuba diving after speaking with Dale from Bayplay at Portsea. It had been over 10 years since my last dive. Pat is a fantastic instructor, the day was not rushed. Our groups ages range was from 14 to 48 and he made sure everybody understood and carried out all the practical and safety skills needed, he made us feel relaxed and I really enjoyed the dive. Thank you Bayplay, I will definitely be a return customer.

We were down at Portsea for the week and wanted to hire wet suits for the younger kids for the back beach. Staff were excellent helping and general enquirers. We hired 2 wet suits at $25 a day each.

We would be giving this experience a rating of 5, if only we had of known we were going to be transporting the heavy kayak from the shop front, across the roads and up a big hill to the beach ourselves, and then back again. It wasn't the fact that we had to do it, it was just expected that there would be some assistance or we should have otherwise been notified, considering we called twice prior to arrival to discuss what we would be doing. The customer service is terrible, we expected to be greeted by a happy team who were excited for us, instead we barely got a hello and no one seemed happy to be there (we dealt directly with 3 different staff) I am sure there a lots of people who would enjoy working somewhere like that, so I don't know why its full of dull people. Of course, the kayaking itself was great, but the terrible service and having to lug the kayak all that distance is what made us give a rating of 3. We had a voucher and did recieve a discount, however if we had of paid full price for this we would have been more disappointed. We had to ask strangers for directions and help with the kayak.

Did the Portsea Pier Scuba Dive with Nick for already certified divers! Small group, amazing experience and loved how friendly the staff were!

We hired bikes from here and found the staff to both friendly and knowledgeable. Gave us great information on how to get the best from our ride including the places to visit, timeframes and advice. Hireage was good value with great easy to ride bikes. Also lent us a back pack to takes some of our stuff. They also do heaps of other stuff.

We were very lucky with perfect weather and dolphin spotting! The guides were great and knowledgeable! Both about the history and nature of the area, thank you Dale!

Thank you so much to the Bayplay team for such a great stay and experience. Our group was blown away with how accomodating and helpful your staff are. We loved our stay over the weekend in the Bayplay group lodge, it is the perfect location to explore the Mornington Peninsula and we loved the big lounge for entertaining! Our Snorkel was so much fun, we loved the weedy sea dragons and array of fish! We will be back!

Have used previously, but must be under new management now as they seemed more interested in taking money than providing a service. Would not recommend.

Trip cancelled due to heavy rain, offered no refund only a possibility to reschedule yet forecasted thunderstorms for the next day. Overall not great customer service.

Despite cold weather and choppy waters, we still loved our self-guided kayaking experience with BayPlay. The best part of the tour for us was the fact that it was self-guided so we could go at our own pace. Due to the weather, we chose to stay fairly close to shore and within the bay. We had a ball sending the kayak out over the waves and then gently riding them back into shore. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We really appreciated the jackets we were given to wear as they kept our upper bodies warm and dry. This was a three hour experience but we only lasted an hour due to the weather. Even with the reduced time we were still happy with the price of the activity.

We had a great time and all the Bayplay crew we met were very friendly. Oscar, our guide, was excellent and quite the local historian, which was a bonus. Unfortunately, we were not lucky enough to see any dolphins but the tour was still great. Great time!
