As a solo traveler I am always thankful when a tour is not cancelled because it is just me. My guide (and part owner) Allison confirmed all the details prior to meeting her day of my tour. It seems that when a group is on the smaller side there is more wiggle room to customize what a person wants to do. I didn't have much preference but to be led by a professional through an area unknown to me, have a delicious lunch and of course do some wine tasting. We met at a train station and Allison drove us to where we would start cycling along the rail trail. The day was quite overcast but I told her I was not worried, and was right about the sun coming out soon after we started. I am one to take lots of photos, and Allison did not mind me stopping whatsoever, plus she took many of me along the way. We even stopped for a morning tea at a lovely cafe, and then cycled back. We then made our way to the first of two wineries where we had some lunch, admired the beautiful scenery and of course had some delicious wine. There is nothing that could have made this day more perfect!!! Thank you Allison for a splendid and memorable day!!!

So much fun to drive barely an hour from Melbourne and find ourselves surrounded by greenery, wildlife and friendly locals. Seriously though, the bike riding was so perfect (great, comfortable bikes) and safe riding on dedicated tracks with plenty of diversion, morning tea, followed by fun refreshments and the big finale, after good riding, was a sumptuous lunch at Killara Winery which has fantastic food, fabulous views & the wine is just a bonus. Our hosts had great knowledge of the area which made me smile because I always thought, “I’m in good hands!” Thank you Alli & Libby.

Hi Lisa, thanks for your fantastic review. It was a great day cycling with your girlfriends. Amazing weather for pedalling on the Warbie Rail Trail as well as tasting the great local food and wine produced in the Yarra Valley
in the region.

We were in Melbourne for the Australian Open and the Yarra Valley Food & Wine Region tour was just what we needed to take a break between our tennis-watching days. Libbie met us at the train station and informed us that it would be a private tour with just our party of two — what a treat! The morning bike ride was easy and straightforward, and the winery visit in the afternoon was so peaceful and relaxing. We even got to see a kookaburra on the trip! Thank you, Libbie, for a most enjoyable day.

Thanks for a great review Jess. I enjoyed showing you both some very special parts of the Yarra Valley. As you saw, there is lots of birdlife to be seen cycling along the Warburton Rail Trail - the Kookaburras definitely a bonus! Hope to see you again during the Australian Open tennis. Libbie

My partner & I planned our Yarra Valley trip around this tour and we had the most amazing time.
We were lucky enough to have both Allison & Libbie guide us through a wonderful day in the Yarra Valley. After a leisurely cycle with amazing views, the local knowledge of our tour guides (+ friends for the day!) took us to 2x amazing wineries with epic views and even better tastings.
A 3 course lunch at the first winery was not only delicious, but lined our stomachs so we could have a few extra vinos! We paid a bit extra so we could get picked up and dropped off and not have to worry about driving, which was perfect.
All in all a great day which gives you a taste of the brilliant Yarra Valley, made better by 2 amazing tour guides in Libbie & Allison.
We’ll be back for another tour soon!
With gratitude,
Mitch & Laura.

The Warburton Rail Trail was so peaceful amongst sections of forest and farmlands. Alli and Libby were very organised and knowledgeable about the history of the area. We visited the Carriage cafe for yummy Devonshire tea and finished with a fabulous lunch at a vineyard.
We really enjoyed it so much we plan to ride with them again!

A little delayed, but brought a group of executives to Yarra Valley last month. Allison and Libbie were very accommodating and the group had an excellent time together. It was a great team bonding exercise and the scenery was amazing. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We had an amazing day hosted by Allison and Libbie - cycling the leafy Warburton rail trail in the Yarra Valley, lunch overlooking vineyard, wine tastings - and Allison went the extra mile in the afternoon to give us the best possible end to our day. Wonderful hosts and a great day out - thank you.

The cycling x wine tour was INCREDIBLE! I had a superb time with Alison (my tour guide). I was very lucky in having a private tour. Alison was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. As I was doing this on my own, Alison basically tailored the whole thing according to my needs and wishes. Cycling along a rail track was a very fun experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes to do sth different while they are in Melbourne.
