- L187HGglennm00Ronnie was greatOur guide and driver was Ronnie. He was one of the best and most interesting guides I have experienced in many a year. Good work Ron. The hikes were great, but a bit strenuous for some less fit people
- rosamondthompson00A fantastic day outWe had an amazing time on this trip, lots of wine tasting and a great lunch. Our first stop was Iron Gate Estate and we were looked after by Jade, who I have to say was so easy to listen to and really knows her stuff. After that we had wine and chocolate tasting and then on to another winery where we had a tasty lunch followed by wine and cheese tasting. The last stop was a distillery where we were treated to gin and vodka tasting. Our driver/guide whose name was Tom was really great.
- sydneyr59600FantasticThis trip was amazing and was lovely having so many stops along the way. Our tour guide was also incredible and was able to tell us all the information we needed to know.
- I904700Great value, great driverAbsolutely brilliant day, lots of wine and food! Tom our driver was brilliant and always trying to make the day the best possible.
- emmamS6685YA00Absolutely recommendBest trip ever, such good wine tastings and so many extra bonus sightings!!!Tom was awesome!! Absolutely recommend
- stuartlN2177QM00ScamMessaged me day before to cancel and said they called me - they did not it’s a scam I booked an alternative which was fabulous
- abigailemilycox00Very good tourExcellent day around Blue Mountains. Despite not having the best weather, we still visited some great spots. Peter was the best tour guide, very friendly, chatty and happy.
- briankZ4221QW00Learned so much about Canberra and Australia! Our trip to Canberra, from Sydney, was truly wonderful. We learned so much from our tour guide, and coach driver - both were extremely well informed and worked together well to keep us moving and on-time. The tour leader had hand-outs for us, diagrams of the city of Canberra, and got us very involved in understanding the history and architecture. The bus trip is long but there was a lot of information delivered along the way - do your best not to doze off! Our only complaint was that there were 49 people and only one tour guide, so difficult to hear sometimes, and difficult to keep the entire group together.
- pam52100Hidden Gems in the HunterFantastic day. Very different from a normal winery tour. The pairing of wine and chocolate and also wine and cheese and a very informative talk & tasting from Jade at Iron Gate Estate, made for a lovely and different day out. The added addition of visiting Hunter Distillery for Gin, Vodka & Schnapps tasting was an added highlight. Our driver Tom did a fantastic job and looked after us very well throughout the day. Throughly enjoyable day.
- janeto82200Hunter Valley wine trip.Great day trip to the Hunter Valley . Early start though well worth it. 3 wineries and distillery with wine pairing with chocolate and cheese made wine tasting a lovely experience . Lunch had plenty of choices and was prepared beautifully . Lovely that all experiences were included in the package ( unless you were purchasing additional bottles of wine)
- Culture1650671031600Beautiful Blue Mountains TourOur tour of the Blue Mountains was amazing! Lots of walking/steps, so make sure you wear good hiking shoes or tennis shoes. But our guide was incredible, and took us to less crowded areas so we could all enjoy the sites without the crowds. We got amazing pictures, and he was even willing to take photos of our groups for us! Highly recommended!
- KJClynch00Hunter Valley Signature Wine TourMark was our guide for this tour. We spoke to Jas in the office to organise a local pick up from our accommodation in Polkobin which was no trouble at all. Jas called us with plenty of time to let us know the pick up time was a little bit than scheduled due to the school holiday traffic which was really appreciated. Mark gave us a great overview of the region and the wineries we were visiting. He was able to provide recommendations on other things to see while we were in the area. Mark was very clear in the timings at each of the wineries and the tastings were not rushed and we all had plenty of time to ask additional questions of our hosts. All the other people on the tour had come up from Sydney and Mark made sure that he had good drop off points for each of them before we left our last tasting. I would highly recommend travelling with Colourful Collective Travel as they genuinely care about your experience
- charlottefoth9800Amazing day outRonnie our host was incredible. The wildlife sanctuary is such an amazing place and then you head to the Blue Mountains which are so scenic and beautiful. Lunch included was delicious. Overall one of the best tours I’ve ever been on.
- LauraCorbett00Brilliant tour & guideDid the Blue Moutains tour and we were lucky enough to have Ronnie as our tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and also very funny, couldn't have asked for a better day!
- fergyfrond00Blue Mountains experienceGreat variety of Blue mountains experiences- wildlife park, waterfall hike, and lots of scenic overlooks. Had knowledgeable and personable guide with useful, interesting history and commentary .

Personally I was only in it for the dolphins - cruise was lovely and happy to say not part of the 2% that doesn't get to see any . But vegging out on a terrace with a nibble and a drink at the beach while co-travelers went up the dunes for a mouth full of sand ;-) was a perfect and relaxing end to the day .

The best Port Stephens tour we have ever done (and we've done a few)! Dolphins, sand dunes, beautiful bays and lookouts - the perfect balance between lots of things to see and do and a relaxed pace to enjoy them. And Peter is an amazing guide!

My main reason for writing in is to say a massive thank you to our tour guide, Cheeks. He is hilarious, chats with everyone and is genuinely just such a joy to be around... even at 7am. He was amazing, give the man a raise.
As for the trip, Port Stephens is beautiful. Sand boarding is an experience you'll never forget (mainly because, being English, you'll never have seen so much sand in your life).
My advice for people thinking of going on this trip? Do it! And take a swimming costume and get in the boom net while on the dolphin boat cruise.

I went on this trip yesterday. Our driver Billy kept us entertained for the majority of the drive and really took an interest in getting to know each person on the bus... where we were from, how long in Australia, etc. He was great and very knowledgeable and approachable about Australia and things to do around the area. You have a chance to change into your swimsuit if you want for the dolphin tour (but honestly don't, the water is so cold it's better just to watch. Regardless there's a bathroom on the boat where you can change if you want to). We stopped at a nice cafe for lunch and they had a veggie burger option which was delicious. They were accommodating too, Billy happily made sure mine had no chilli on it because I'm allergic to beans. The sand boarding was really cool but didn't go down the hill as fast as I thought it would. The walk up the hill in the sand was treacherous each time, but the ride down was fun. The sand dunes were beautiful. This day trip had people of all ages, families, etc and it was suited to all of us.

Thanks for your review. Its a long drive to Port Stephens so good to hear that you were kept entertained by Billy.
The boat can be a lot of fun and its nice that there is the option to swim in the net if you're brave enough. The sandboarding requires a bit of work so we put it at the end of the day so you can relax on the bus ride home. Sounds like you are a real thrill seeker, you should of asked the boys for some tips on how to go a little faster, its all in the position of your body which can make you go super fast!
Glad to hear you had a great day out.
Thanks
Alanna

I had a great day at Port Stephens, last saturday. First we went to an amazing lookout point and after that the dolphin watch cruise. This was amazing, especially the opportunity to sit in the net.
After that we did the sandboarding what was great. Also the traffic was well organised and the busdriver George want really to show us the nicest places.
