I rarely drink alcohol and I loved this tour. Jared was very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. We went to two beweries and two distilleries. At the rum distillery the coconut rum really stood out. It’s not that fake coconut taste like in Malibu rum and they soak the rum in toasted coconut to get the flavor. Best pina colada I’ve ever had. All the gin flavors were very unique also. Ther was a kumquat and wattleseed gin that stood out. The location was beautiful. Some of the best pizza I’ve had outside of Naples. Great quality ingredients in a stone oven. Anyone can go to these locations by themselves but having a knowledgeable tour guide like Jared is worth it.

Excellent variety of stops all filled with people so passionate about what they do! A variety of options for everyone - even those who like one drink and not another! Very accomodating to everyone’s palate! Perfect for everyone!

The is is the second time we have travelled with Jarrod and behind the barrel. Always the best, friendly experience, great itinerary and the best vibes for a day with mates, family or even a corporate trip! Highly recommend.

A really great tour to do with family or friends! The tour provided a variety of beverages for everyone to try and a great lunch that catered to everyones requirements. The tour guide was great and handled everything for us! Would highly recommend!!

The tour was so nice, we went to some nice places and sampled some of the local distills and beers among byron’s exotic locations. Jarred the guide for our tour was very informed and knowledgeable about the area, it felt like we had google at our fingertips. Overall i’d give the tour 20/10 if i could, it did not disappoint at any point.

The day was fantastic. Jarrod was a great host along with the other people on the tour. The planning of the day was great and the venues we visited were fantastic.

We had a private tour for our EOFY work day out and everything was brilliant. Organising the trip with Jarryd was easy, the venues perfect, and the timings perfect. I’d definitely recommend!

Fantastic tour. Jarryd made everything so easy with the booking process, pick up and drop off at our accommodation made it stress free while Edward our driver was friendly and happy to accommodate our needs. Our favourite place was Cape Byron Distillery - beautiful views, great story about how the farm and distillery came about and we all loved the gin (and whiskey)!

Jumped at the chance of a free babysitter (thanks mum!) and celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary by taking the full barrel tour. As a former local of the area, I was really keen to see a few of the notable distilleries and breweries that have popped up on the Far North Coast over the past decade. Jarryd was a great tour guide - personable, funny and very knowledgeable about the places we visited and the various drinks we imbibed (oh yes, there was a few!). Tastings at each location included a chat from one of the brewers, with lots of interesting facts about the history of the place and the drinks on offer. Jarryd kindly dropped us off at the front door and we needed a bit of a lie down and a kebab! Such a great day out! Would totally recommend!

I went on the all day tour with my partner and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Jarryd was very informative and laid back - we loved the stories behind each venue we visited, the tastings were generous and delicious. If you go on this tour I highly recommend getting the pina colada cocktail at the lord Byron rum distillery, it was as good as they said it is :)

I had a wonderful day, Jarrod made me feel very welcome and took us to some great places. Best pina colada ever at the rum distillery... loved it bought all the bottles to take home!! It was educational in the alcohol business and very tasty tastings everywhere we went. Very easy pick up and drop off from Ballina. A must do!
