I arranged this tour with Pete one week before and he was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The itinerary he developed looked great and proved to be amazing.
Such a friendly informative and enjoyable tour experience and Pete’s stories, background and knowledge made the day one to remember.
Pete chose smaller more intimate wineries to visit and this proved to be such a positive and memorable way to sample some excellent wines, cheese and a great lunch.
Thanks Pete we loved everything about the day and your Lexus was a big hit!!!!

Communication with Pete to organise our half day tour was great with personalised recommendation for lunch and he booked our tastings ahead so when we arrived it was seamless and welcoming. His Lexus was immaculate and knowledge of the area and commentary very enjoyable. Trust Pete to not only look after you but make sure you have a great day out. We went on a Monday and cellar doors weren’t too busy. COVID precautions in place and a much better option than a bus with strangers - highly recommend you give Pete a call to arrange a tour in the Highlands.

We were referred to Pete from Highland Vines from another wine tour operator that was full and we are grateful they did.
We only booked the day before and Pete was able to get back to us within minutes having booked tastings at a range of amazing vineyards- predominantly smaller ones not visited by larget bus tours.
We spent the day travelling the Southern Highlands in a well appointed Lexus SUV where the plan was as flexible as we liked.
We paid $150 each and theoretically tastings were extra but none of the cellars actually did charge us (we did buy wine from every one of them however) The tastings were also VERY generous.
Pete's a local to the area and his wine tours are a semi retirement buisness. He loves sharing the best of the area and you will be promised an unforgettable day out.

My friends and I had the best day on a half day wine tour with Pete last weekend. Pete organised all cellar door bookings which made everything so easy, and was more than accommodating of our specific requests for the wineries we love.
Super organised and efficient, Pete made the day such a great time for all of us, and took all the work out of it. I'd highly recommend Pete's tours to anyone visiting Bowral, and will be booking him again myself on my next visit!

What an amazing day we had with Peter as our personal guide and driver.
We could not have found a more knowledgeable person to show us the beautiful wineries of the Southern Highlands and the stunning surrounding countryside. There is just so much to see and we were sorry when our tour had finished.
If you are looking for a private Southern Highlands wine tour at an excellent price, look no further than “Highland Vines”.... You will have a day to remember!

Peter is an extremely knowledgeable, flexible, and pleasant tour guide. He is so familiar with the area, wineries, and those running the wineries that we were made to feel like locals from the get go, which was so lovely. Wonderfully comfortable ride and great communication and itinerary planning made our wine tour feel very well put together and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

Spent the most amazing day touring wineries and countryside with Peter.
Peter has excellent knowledge of the area and made our day a memorable one.

Pete and his personalised wine tour experience were delightful!
It was lovely being driven around from place to place, and I especially enjoyed the care and attention he took to the day. We got to see so much of the region, while still feeling like we were able to take our time and fully enjoy what each winery had to offer.
If you were looking for a wonderful tour of the Southern Highlands wineries in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with someone who is friendly and knowledgeable of the area, I would highly recommend.
I know I'll be using Pete again.

The best part of travelling to the Southern Highlands is to do a private tour with Pete! In the past year I have planned x3 private tours with Pete. A true local and someone that is very passionate about old school customer service and looking after his guests. A true gentleman from the moment you book a tour, travel with Pete and safely return back to you designated drop off point.
Pete is a local who has built strong relationships in the southern highlands community. Is very knowledgeable and is happy to put together a tour or a journey that suits your needs.
I recently returned from Bowral and this time around Pete took us on another adventure to visit new friends at Joadja Distillery and old friends at Sutton Forest Estate Wines. Every tour is different and there is always something new to discover and learn.
The tours I have planned have been exciting and lots of fun for my guests thanks to Pete! Also being a private tour means we get top service from the moment we get picked up.
We have met so many wonderful people at the wineries, and Pete and his family have now become part of our family.
I do not hesitate to recommend Pete and his tours! The best in the southern highlands!

We had a ball, we highly recommend Pete. He organised everything for us. We sat back relaxed and soaked up the Southern Highlands. We drank, ate and were merry celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Pete’s knowledge of the area and selection of wineries was perfect. He went above and beyond helping us out with transport for dinner and dinner bookings on a very busy Saturday night in the Highlands. We would like to thank Pete and encourage anyone to use his tour service.
