Stop At: Gray Line of Portland, 525 SW Naito Parkway, Portland, OR 97204

This tour shows you Mt. Hood and the surrounding area. We start with a drive through the Columbia River Gorge, with a stop at Multnomah Falls. Then we are off to the Hood River Valley and Mt. Hood.

We have photo stops at Sahalie Falls and the White River Glacier Viewpoint. With a climb to 6,000 feet, we reach the world famous Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark. Leisure time here allows for lunch (no host) and touring the lodge, small museum, and visitor center. There are views of Mt. Hood and the vastness of the Cascade Mountains, including Mt. Jefferson and other Oregon peaks in the distance.

Our return trip features a stop at a local, family owned fruit stand, featuring local bounty and a cider tasting option (no host).

As we return, we have one last memorable photo stop at Panorama Point. With a splendid view of the peak of Mt. Hood to the south and the summit of Mt. Adams to the north.

Our return to Portland has many panoramic views of the Columbia River and natural landmarks.
