Great bike tour
Oct. 2021 • Couples
We rented ebikes for the tour which was such a blast. Highly recommend it. Kurt was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. He took us all over town stopping at unique points of interest. Definitely a good way to learn about and see the city. We then went back to areas we saw to explore further. You don’t want to miss this tour! Great brewery recommendations, too!

E-bike tour with rental
Sep. 2021 • Couples
I recently booked a bike tour with Cycle Portland and elected to take the option to extend my bike tour with an afternoon rental. The tour was slightly less than 2 hours and was enjoyable and informative.

On the rental I experienced a flat tire. It took a while to get a hold of the shop as my first calls went to voice-mail. Eventually I got through and Mateo agreed to out. Unfortunately he had difficulty and could not change tire with the tools he brought.

At this point I was told the waiver makes getting the tire repaired my responsibility and that I would need to walk it to another bikeshop and pay to repair it myself.

If I was negligent and misused the bike to the point it was significantly damaged I would probably understand that they would charge for repairs. But a flat tire on city riding? That to me is more an indication the bike shop isn't using tire slime or high quality tube liners to protect their customers from such a nuisance like this from ruining their rental. When I got a flat tire on a vespa tour in Montreal they simply rode another vespa out to me and extended my tour. Thats better customer service in my opinion.

Anyway, just making other potential renters aware. If you encounter any small issue with one of their bikes you will likely be stuck for hours arranging repairs and paying for it out of pocket.

Fun & Informative!
Aug. 2021
My husband and I had a great bike tour with Cycle Portland! Our guide, Taylor, was very informative and gave us tons of facts about Portland. She also took the time to answer questions along the way. Taylor was patient with our whole group when riding bikes, and explained to us where we were going to keep us safe along the tour. The tour was very fun and we would highly recommend!

Excellent tour, extremely friendly guide. Frequent stops to catch your breath, but a leisurely and easy ride for all levels of bikers. Great way to get a quick overview of hot spots of Portland!

Just Do It!
Jul. 2021
They were so accommodating. Switched us from multi-speed bikes to e-bikes when e-bikes became available the morning of our tour. Kurt, our guide, was great at sharing Portland information and history plus keeping tabs on the 12+ members on the tour. We had spent the bulk of our time in Portland seeing Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, and other out-of-town locations. Spent our last few hours in Portland actually seeing the city. A great way to do that. Even found a Chinese restaurant around the corner open on a holiday just as the City was opening after Covid. Great way to end our post-Covid trip to Portland.

Great way to see the city!
Just relocated to the area and this was a perfect way to see and learn more about the city. Easy bike ride and our guide Anna was a great guide. I will definitely consider doing this tour or another one with Around Portland Tours again when I have family & friends come out to visit!

Engaging tour.

Taking a bike tour is a great way to start a Portland trip. Our guide Kurt provided great information on the numerous landmarks along the route.

I wish I had taken this tour on my previous trips to Portland. I missed so many cultural artifacts that were right under my nose without a guide to point them out and explain their rich history. The bike tour is definitely Essential to getting a primer on the rose city.

Great Location, Bikes and Customer Service
Oct. 2020
Rented 2 e-bikes to be able to go farther along the waterfront and to bike around town. Bikes did great and had almost a full charge when we took them back 4 hours later. Couldn't have asked for anything better. We were in and out of the store within 15 minutes with a full explanation of how to use the e-bikes. Would rent from again!

Awesome tours in Portland!
Sep. 2020
Joined Portland city cycling tour!
About 2 hours, the guide showed history, famous place and natures of Portland. It was great time!

Electronic bicycle is easy to run on slopes!
There are many slopes in Portland, so I recommend e-bike for beginner.

The staffs are so nice, too! This company's tour is that I want to join again.
Cody who guided us, Rene and James, they all are so nice! And Sam, he was a guide of food tour and didn't belong here now but he was also nice.

The shop name is "Cycle Portland Bike Tours & Rentals".

We visited many unique and charming points. "Keep Portland Wired" This wall is my favorite! I love Portland!
