- FeeGee30 contributionsFun for the whole familyWe had an amazing couple of hours paddling with Matt as part of a small group. We were all novice kayakers and Matt catered perfectly for our abilities. The late afternoon time slot meant the temperature was perfect for being on the water and that there was plenty of wild life activity to see. We saw plenty of mullet leaping from the water and even spotted two black swans! Our family particular enjoyed a little game Matt initiated - paddling to retrieve coloured balls to score points. It immediately brought out our competitive streak! Matt loves to share is knowledge of local history and nature. It was fascinating to listen and learn about the local area. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone looking for something a little different from your usual tourist activities!Written 25 January 2023

- charliemelissaa0 contributionsSunset Kayak TourWe booked a Sunset kayak tour for our family of 5, safe to say it was the stand out activity on our holiday last week. It was the first time for any of us on kayaks and Matt made it such an enjoyable and comfortable experience, a memory our kids will remember for a long time to come! So much more than we were expecting and would highly recommendWritten 12 February 2022

He explained everything and showed us on the map where a nice place to stop for lunch would be. He accommodated us with a back rest. He drove us up river so we could canoe down. But next time l will listen to him and wear sunscreen because looked like a lobster the next day lolWritten 25 November 2021
- 263isabelc0 contributionsUnforgettable. Must go. Best Tour Guide - Matt!!!The BEST!!! Beautiful setting, quality equipment and best tour guide ever! Matt was simply amazing! He went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and ensure that we had the best experience we could. He was very friendly and kind throughout, and he had planned exciting activities for us such as yabby fishing and some fun/competitive water activities that we thoroughly enjoyed! Matt also helped us take some nice pictures and even brought snacks :) We did both kayaking and paddle-boarding during the sunset tour, it was truly an unforgettable experience. Although it was our first time doing paddle boarding, Matt was a great teacher and was very encouraging. Thank you Matt, this was unforgettable. If you are looking for something fun to do at Coffs that is slightly adventurous and 100% memorable, then definitely check out C-Change Adventures! You will leave with all smiles :) :) :) My friends and I cannot recommend this enough!!!Written 26 October 2021

We were greeted with a big friendly smile and matty went above and beyond with making sure all our needs were met. The board we great and hey we managed to not even fall off. Boambee reserve is great place for a paddle as you get to see stingrays crabs and many different types of birds. I can not recommend a better person to go with in the coffs area. This experience I give a 10/10. Thanks so much.Written 9 May 2021

What a great way to spend an afternoon with Matt the host cruising leisurely along the river learning, laughing and exercising. Such a fun relaxing thing to do. We went as a family of 4 with kids ages 11 and 13 they loved it. Matt made it fun and also educational relating to bird life and the native surrounds. Well worth attending. We all highly recommend the sunset cruise

Signed on for the sunset tour with Matt about 3 weeks ago. He arranged for two double kayaks for our family of four and escorted ours and a couple other families up Boambee Creek to enjoy wildlife spotting, hearing a bit of history and understanding some of the local plant life. The kids enjoyed the kayaking competition and later, pumping for nippers while the grown ups watched on with cookies and fruit.
Matt was fine tour guide and friendly guy who was very knowledgeable on the local area and its animal inhabitants, and very quick to point them out while being very patient with the kids and ensuring everyone is having a good time. Highly recommend this tour to everyone, and especially families who enjoy the outdoors.

Our family paddled on the turning out going tide along Boambee creek to Boambee Bay. Matt met us at the drop off point with all the safety gear, canoes and a map. He told us where to beach for a swim, where to look for the eagles nest and where to finish. For a hassle free, relaxing, beautiful and getting in touch with nature experience C-Change Adventures covers all bases. Great fun for the family. A very affordable and memory creating family experience. I highly recommend C-Change Adventures and paddling the creeks around Coffs Harbour as a must do experience for locals and visitors.

Thankyou Matt for making our experience so much fun. We had no kayaking experience and Matt made us feel very comfortable. Awesome chat and cruise along the river and Matt kept the conversation flowing by sharing his knowledge about the nature. We also got to catch yabbies. Bonus points for Matt for treating us with snacks. Would definitely recommend choosing c changes adventures and we would love to go kayaking again.

We booked the eco kayak tour for our family last week. It was an amazing experience. Matt is exceptional - friendly and welcoming. It was our first kayaking experience and Matt made it a breeze for us.
Matt was very informative and knowledgeable about the local environment and we highly recommend this tour with him. We loved looking at the aboriginal rocks, hermit crabs, mangrove tress , eating the sea asparagus and the most fun part was yabbying-my boys loved this bit the most. Matt also played some fun ball games with them while on the water. This tour was the best part of our Coff's Harbour holiday and we will do it again when we visit Coffs Harbour in future.
Thanks again to Matt for the wonderful tour !

I organised a kayak party tour up Boambee Creek with C-change adventures last saturday afternoon for my son and his friends. Matt was very helpful, informative and really pleasant to deal with. Matt advised the best time to go with the tides and was ever so helpful. Matt had them busy and occupied the whole time kayaking, racing, yabbying, showing different water holes, playing the limbo etc. They all learnt so much. All the kids came back and said they had so much fun and had never done anything like that before. It was a perfect day in a beautiful crystal clear creek it couldn't be more perfect. Well done Matt and C-Change.

Such a great idea for a party activity as it covers all age groups. As a Marine Scientist Matt is predictably very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. Sunset is perfect time on the water (in good weather) as reflections on the water are stunning and birdlife abundant.....fish are jumping so watch out, one might even land in your kayak. Matt is really caring and looks after everyone so well....give it a go...you will love it. ❤️

My partner and I had a fantastic time on the afternoon kayaking tour with Mathew, the instructor. Mathew guided us on how to kayak before taking us on a lovely tour. He was very knowledgable in both on history and wildlife. He had a positive attitude and made us feel really comfortable. If you're not sure what to do in Coffs Harbour, I'd strongly recommend giving this a go. Thanks Mathew!
