- Inspire253342790690 contributionsNot to be missed! We had such a great visit, thank you to our guide Rory who answered all our questions and was so so knowledgeable. He is very educated and experienced which made our time there so enjoyable. We knew very little about Quolls and the devils so to have such an in-depth tour was beyond what we expected. Well done on such a great place, we booked the feeding tour at 1pm.Written 29 November 2024
- Sunshine266595479890 contributionsGreat PlaceVery easy to find. Staff friendly and very informative. We learnt a lot about Tasmanian devils, Quolls etc and had a great time seeing them being fed.Written 18 November 2024
- annasD1186AL0 contributionsBest Tassie devil tourA great tour that explains devils in all their glory. Our guide was so knowledgeable. She had reared Sabina and Noah and they were so cute. It was so good to see them interacting, growling and feeding. The tour was really interesting and covered several devils, and 3 different species of quills. Highly informative and highly recommended.Written 12 November 2024
- 136angiep0 contributionsLearn about these Adorable CarnivoresThe host was so informative and passionate. I fell in love with the devils and the quolls. They rely on visitors to fund their efforts to save these amazing animals so definitely visit. It was cool to see the different personalities when food was on offer; some more polite than others.Written 10 November 2024

- Kirsty380 contributionsA must doAbsolutely LOVED this place, Chris our guide was very knowledgeable and clearly has a real passion for his work. The sanctuary was really good, all the animals looked well csred for and had plenty enrichment. Devils @ cradle are really working hard to save the species. Definitely a must do when in the area! - donorsgirl0 contributionsLots of InformationWe did the 5:20 tour- it was about 1 1/2 hours. Excellent tour. Renee, the guide, was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned so much and enjoyed meeting and watching the devils!Written 9 October 2024
- Harvhouse0 contributionsHighlight of our Tassie tripWe did the Dessert with the devils experience and it was the highlight of our Tasmania trip. The guide was amazing - so knowledgeable and passionate. The devils and quolls were adorable. And baby devil Geoff was just the sweetest little guy. The tour really reiterated that we need to conserve our wonderful and unique fauna. Although I’m an animal lover, it really got me thinking about this more. I definitely recommend this tour. It’s worth spending the extra money to do one of the available experiences. Devils at Cradle are doing great work that they should be very proud of.Written 3 October 2024
- Travel_addict13_100 contributionsInformative and interestingThis is a really good experience for adults and children. There is good viewing of the young Tassie devils running around together and playing. There are also quols. The information was interesting. It is not a Zoo but a sanctuary that is conserving Tasmanian devils and working to keep the species alive in the face of the cancer that has attached the wild population. An opportunity to see a devil up close and learn about their habits.Written 23 September 2024
- N676VZsuel0 contributionsAngels saving the devils (and quolls)Great to see the work going on to save such valuable Australia species. Passionate and dedicated individuals Wonderful experience.Written 15 August 2024
- Erin A0 contributionsNot worth the costDisappointed. Reading reviews on online, watching videos and tv shows in this we were excited. However, it was not all it was made out to be, there were lots of people and pushy people at that, pushing my 6 year old onto the ground so they could get a better view then him. I was happy to forgo my view and stood at the back where I couldn't see anything. It was long, cold and quite frankly boring. Everyone was getting bored. We ended up leaving early because the whole experience was miserable. The price was expensive for what we actually got to see, there is no interaction for the guests with the animals, nothing special about this. Definitely better places in Tassie with the same experience and way less crowded. Will not return.Written 4 August 2024
- 895margm0 contributionsDelightful dessert with DevilsDessert with the devils- A very informative visit which allowed us to pat a devil, see them being fed and check out the quolls. Not cheap, but well worth it- once in a lifetime.Written 14 July 2024

we paid to do the sunset experience as it sounded great but we were reluctant to pay the $100 each to do it. I felt it was to much for what we got and i hate to say that as the fellow who took us for the night experience was lovely and the money does go towards funding the tassie devils which is wonderful but i just felt it was alittle much. I think you would be better to just do the night feeding. As we did that and the only extra was we got to pat a joey and then had a glass of wine and some little sweets.

Hi Kelco65,
Thankyou for your review of our Sunset Experience, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us one.
Our Sunset Experience is one of our premium products which includes a small group intimate experience, the opportunity to meet and pat a joey, drinks, dessert platter and exclusive access to our behind the scenes enclosures where the guide facilitiates a devil feeding experience. We also close the sanctuary to the general public during this tour so that our guests have the entire experience to themselves. Prior to the launch of this product, we reviewed similar products within the industry and think that our price is competitive for the inclusions we offer.
We are glad that you had a good experience with our staff, they are all very passionate about their roles here, and you are correct in saying that all profits from our products contribute directly to the conservation of our endangered carnivores.
We appreciate the support you have given us by attending our Sunset Experience, and hope that you still enjoyed seeing these amazing animals.
If you have any further queries in regards to this, please feel free to contact us on info@devilsatcradle.com.
Kind Regards,
Devils@Cradle Team

We had a fantastic visit to Devils @ Cradle! Our guide Pru was very knowledgeable and passionate about devil and quoll conservation which made the experience valuable. We got to meet and interact with one of the youngest devils which was a highlight. Our Tasmanian sweet-treats were delicious and enjoyed whilst watching the devils feed- a highly entertaining experience! Overall, an engaging and insightful look into the conservation practices of devils and quolls, highly recommended!

Did this tour on 11 February 2023 with Prue.
We were lucky enough to only have a group of 4, funnily enough the other couple were also from Western Australia.
Prue is very passionate about her work and also incredibly knowledgeable, which ensures you get a great experience.
The Tasmanian Devil is an endangered species and they are doing terrific work here fighting that battle, ensuring Australia does not eradicate another species.
The Devils themselves, along with the Eastern and Spotted Quoll they also have, are quite cute. They were pretty active which made for an entertaining tour.
At the end there was a little fire to stand around, have a small platter and a cold beverage whilst watching them feed - an experience not to miss.
Lastly, your visit here helps the Centre continue doing its good work which is a worthy investment itself.
Come see a special part of Tasmania.

Thank you for your review Rob.
The SUNSET Experience is a wonderful, intimate tour. The relaxed setting and limited numbers make this a fantastic way to end the day here at Cradle Mountain.
Pru is a passionate advocate for our Carnivorous Marsupials and that shows through on any tours you may encounter her on.
Protection of our endangered and vulnerable species should be on everyone's agenda.
Keep up the good fight.

We had a great time, we got to experience the sight of Devils feeding and even got to pat a baby devil who was totally gorgeous. Our guide was passionate and knowledgeable and her love for caring and protecting the devils and Quokkas in her care and in the wild was inspiring! The sweet treats, beverages and toasted marshmallows was a lovely addition!

My family agreed that was an absolute highlight of our trip to Tasmania. We had a lovely, informative tour of the facility, met the adorable devil Wilbur, and watched the feeding of several other devils. We then settled back to watch them go at their food while we enjoyed some delicious Tasmanian wine and treats. Our guide, Patrick, was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all our questions and enjoying the animals without the crowds a treat. Well worth the extra money, which goes to helping preserve these wonderful creatures. I couldn’t recommend this trip more.

The impact of the introduction of feral species, habitat loss, hunting and climate change have has a devastating effect on our native animals. Thank God there are people who are working to save our threatened species. This visit was fascinating. Highly recommended.

Met the tour guide no problems. She was very knowledgeable and walked us through the park explaining about all the animals and the conservation efforts. For a non Tasmanian it was very interesting to hear about them and really enjoyable. Doing it in winter was great with the ground covered in snow made it magical. Spoiler alert. Pancake the wombat at the end was awesome.

This is the best Tasmanian devil experience we've had in Tassie. It's a lovely park and environment for the animals. Our guide was fantastic - very knowledgeable and clearly loved the animals too. The deserts were fantastic and the opportunity to pat a joey was incredible.

What a wonderful experience!! Our tour guide PRU was friendly and knowledgeable and made the evening both educational and enjoyable. I came away from the experience with a heap of new information I didn’t know and a new love and appreciation for both the animals and the hard work devils at cradle do to help preserve and raise awareness about the devils and quolls.
Any questions we had Pru was able to answer in great detail. The baby devils were definitely my favourite part of the experience and it was really nice to finish off with a lovely platter of Tassie sweets. Highly recommend this experience!!
