      Average/ Poor tour
      - One of the two guides wasn't motivated and was making mistakes (showing the wrong route to take in the mountain!) - There was no lunch! A cold sandwich valued at 3$ is not lunch. - A lot of time spent at coffee breaks in different visitor centres etc. Less time for exploring the place. The weather was terrible and the tour wasn't cancelled.

      Not Recommend at all
I would not recommend this trip to young people who would like to explore the cradle mountain. Although it is claimed to be a full day trip, the actually time spent in Cradle Mountain or Dove lake is less than 90 minutes. For me personally it is a totally waste of time.

I think our analysis speaks for itself.
My wife and will not be recommending this tour to anyone. The $150 price per person is way too much and the inclusions and content could be much better. We were not impressed with the tour guide either. Being driven through Raillton and seeing the topiary was good but not being allowed to stop for photos was disappointing. Similarly the murals in Sheffield were very interesting but only being driven around to see some exhibits and being limited to 20 minutes off the coach to have morning tea that we had to pay for left minimal time to walk around the town to see more murals. By the time we got to Cradle Mountain there was limited time to see the sights. This was supposed to be the highlight of the tour. Another disappointment. Finally the lunch and the venue was very low standard - a roll with soggy lettuce in a shed with tea/coffee if you made it yourself and a protein bar snack if you were quick enough. Then a walk to see a chalet and through a rain forest where some people were bitten by leeches - the guide forgot to mention the possibility of leeches and to take precautions before the long drive back listening to insulting quips about mother in laws and a boring long winded thesis about the AFL. A partial refund of our $300 would be most welcome.

      Great day, well worth it
Great guide (Dale), very knowledgeable but not in a “know it all” kinda way. I really enjoyed the commentary along the way, and we were blessed with a great day for it. Superb views and photo opportunities. Topped off by seeing a wombat and echidna. Decent lunch too. Cheers!

Absolutely 💯 Fabulous 👌 Cradle Mountain Day Tour.
We booked for this beforehand. Picked up at our Hotel Grand Chancellor, and the commentary began once all were on board. Rarely have I been more impressed with so much detailed and interesting information about the entire program. Everywhere we travelled, over the whole journey, while driving or on foot, walking through Ancient Forests, Rarely have I learnt so much in one day. Great variety of countryside, wonderful scenery and weather. It was marvellous. Driver Ben had extensive knowledge of everywhere we went and was passionate about Northern Tasmania. An inspiration. Thank you.

Majestic Park Views and Some Local Highlights
Cradle Mountain was majestic! The tour included several stops to hike the area and get good views. We appreciated the trivia about Tasmania in general and Launceston specifically to help fill our time to and from the mountains. The stops at the mural park town and the creamery added excitement to the journey.

This is a must do at Cradle Mountain. Andy our tour guide was fantastic - the coach picked us up at our camp ground, and within 100m down the road we were spotting wildlife. Over 30 wombats, two quolls, possums, wallabies, pademelons, bush chickens..... and then a shooting star at Ronny Creek as we got back on the bus.

Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable and made the trip for us.

Fun night seeing so many more wildlife than are in view by day. We were driven to Ronnie Creek and Waldheim then walked along the boardwalk by moonlight. Our guide and spotter James gave wonderful details about the area and the wombats, pademelons, possums, wallabies and quolls that we saw. We usually live in Tasmania and like camping but still learned lots!

This was a fun night, i got to use the spotlight out the window on the way to our destination and spot wild life. We got to see Paddy-melon Wallabies, possums and a lot of wombats and right at the end when we where about to leave we spotted a couple of quoll's running around having a great old time. James was very informative and there was only myself and my daughter but James made sure we had an awesome time.

We saw such a range of wildlife, including wombats. Andy is a lively local with a good understanding of the area. She handled the mountain road with confidence with a running commentary all the way. We all had a chance to carry the torch with a walk along the boardwalk at the end. So much fun!

We are campers and usually do our own thing. This tour was brilliant and we saw and learnt so much about the animals atCradle Mountain. Up into the mountain at night with no one else around was fantastic, Saw close up wallabies, paddy melon, wombats, spotted quoll, brush tail possums etc. we walked along the boardwalk and watched and heard the wombats eating. Brilliant.

MJ our guide and driver was amazing and enthusiastic. She appeared to love her job and wanted us to learn and enjoy the experience. To us, this was a highlight of our six weeks in Tasmania. Thanks so much MJ.

Belinda was a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge about the national park and its wildlife. We saw pademelons, Bennett's wallabies (many with joeys), brushtail possums, wombats, and were extremely lucky to also see both a spotted-tail quoll crossing the road and an eastern quoll foraging at the Ronny Creek boardwalk. Would recommend this tour to anyone, even without the quolls!

This tour was great from the first minute we both got into the tour bus. James the tour guide was just so knowledgeable and passionate about Cradle Mountain and the wildlife that is best spotted at night. Although we did this tour during late winter and it was of course very dark and quite cold, this made it more appealing. James managed the group very well and understood the needs of different cultures. He made the tour fun and very worthwhile. We would highly recommend doing this tour particularly if you can be guided by James. Thank you James.

Had an amazing tour with David. He knows almost everything!!! A very experienced and seasoned guide!

We spotted a lot of pademelons, wormbats, some wallabys and also saw a quoll crossing the road! The overland track was very very windy during our visit in winter (2nd Jul). Otherwise, it's a wonderful tour!

Strongly recommended if you want to find the chubby animals in their natural habitat!

A great trip, saw lots of animals including wombats, possum, padymelons and Bennett wallaby and a fleeting glimpse of a Tasmanian devil - collected promptly from our accommodation. Our guide, James, was very knowledgeable and personable. Would definitely recommend this trip to all.
