    Burnie Tasmania tour
This tour was a lot of fun. We some some incredible scenery. Wing's Wildlife park was a huge highlight. We could have spent anther hour there as there as many different animals to see. Being among the kangaroos jumping around - and feeding them was a great surprise! Visiting the falls in Feb was not needed. Very small falls, not much to see. The Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden was nice but a bit of a disappointment in Feb as nothing was in bloom. The grounds were very pretty but spring or fall would be a much better time to see the gardens and flowers. Our guide was very good about sharing information about the area, Burnie and Tasmania in general.

    A Must Do!
We had the best time seeing all the animals! There was an opportunity to feed and pet kangaroos which was a bucket list of mine. In addition, we saw everything from birds, reptiles, fish, monkeys and Tasmanian Devils.

    Lovely drive in country
Great tour, the drive out to the park is lovely. You get a view of the countryside and the farms in Tasmanian. The park is well set up and opportunity to feed and see Kangaroos close up.

    Lovely sanctuary and wombat encounter
Lovely time walking around the sanctuary, great to meet all the animals and feed the roos and wallabies. I had a wombat encounter booked and met a lovely young rescue wallaby called Sunny who was adorable. A fab visit, highly recommend.

    Happy healthy animals
Wonderful wildlife park, All animals and enclosures are in good condition and well looked after. The TAS devil feeding is something to witness. Buy a packet of kangaroo food and enjoy a relaxing time hanging out with very friendly creatures.

    Best Australian animal experience
If petting a koala or getting within inches of a kangaroo is on your bucket list, you MUST include this animal haven in your trip to beautiful Tasmania. The care and compassion shown these animals by this family owned sanctuary is the greatest.

Really enjoyed the bus tour and commentary by Michelle. The walk to the falls and around the Rhododendon gardens was quite spectacular. I loved the indigenous guy on the way back and his display of the didgeridoo sounds and what they mean, it was terrific and he was very entertaining. Thanks for a lovely day

We bought the tour online in January and we were told there were not enough spots to accommodate us on the bus when we arrived on the day of the tour. We received a cash refund on the spot (which is why I gave them a 4 for customer service after an error). The title is misleading...it is NOT a "hop on/hop off". It's a guided tour where you remain with the group for the duration.

We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience caused by the delayed arrival of your ship. Unfortunately, due to the late arrival, you missed our scheduled departures at 9:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, and 11:00 AM. Your booking was for the 9:30 AM departure. In response to the situation, we arranged for a special extra bus at the end of the morning to accommodate passengers, ensuring they would return to the ship on time. We understand that this alternative arrangement may not have suited your preferences, and we promptly issued a refund. Please note that our standard service operates as a hop-on-hop-off service, and we regret any inconvenience caused by the exceptional circumstances of your visit.

This trip in no way was worth the time. Our host struggled to hype up our three stops … she said everything was beautiful every other sentence when in reality it was all brown rolling hills with a few cows. Our first stop overlooked the abandoned mill port … depressing and ugly. Our second stop was to hike down a hill to see a three foot waterfall which was neither impressive nor beautiful. Our final stop was the Emu Valley garden but since we spent so much time boarding the bus and visiting other two spots we were given 15 minutes to walk through entire park.
This was worst tour ever taken because (1) guide nice but really didn’t give much info (2) sites not worth visiting reduced stop at highlight (3) chaos caused delays and over crowding. DO NOT RECOMMEND

WOW.. this is so outside what we normally get but thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We genuinely appreciate your insights and apologize for falling short of your expectations during your recent trip. We're disheartened to learn that your experience with us did not match the excellent standards we strive to maintain. Furthermore, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by delays due to some passengers being late at eash stop and something we try very hard to minimise. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we continuously work to improve our services. We're committed to delivering exceptional experiences, as evidenced by the many excellent reviews we've received in the past. We're truly sorry that your experience did not align with these standards, and we hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust in the future. For the last stop at the Gardens you had every opportunity to spend as much time as you wanted as we orgnaised a minibus for those wanting longer to ensure everyone was not rushed so not sure why you decided to only spend 15 muinutes.

We visited Burnie as a stop off from our Virgin Voyages cruise.
We were met on our bus by a very solid and friendly Mayor of Burnie who welcomed us to her City.
Next we ventured through the markets for our pickup.
Our guide Rosie was a gem, so much knowledge, warmth and excitement for her city.
Our first stop was The Lookout, which had wonderful views of the bay and docks.
Short drive took us to a small waterfall, were you could walk the trail or stay on the bus.
Next we visited the superb beauty of The Rhododendron Gardens.
This garden is maintained and run by various who started off 40 years ago.
The gardens are tranquil, with lots of amazing spaces and plant species.
They also serve Devonshire Tea.
Just be aware there are hills and gravel paths to navigate.
The last stop on this tour was The Musuem, but we chose not to go in.
All in all a nice snapshot of Burnie if you have limited time.
