About
This shore excursion is for anyone wanting a taste of the Mersey Valley. Join us while we travel through the Mersey Valley, well known for its tasty produce, exceptional farming lands, and of course the locals with stories to share! On this five-hour shore excursion, we will visit some of the top attractions and towns in the area. It is timed to when your ship arrives and departs so you can be assured we'll get you back to your ship on time! Due to the nature of Tasmania's wild weather, our schedule may be adjusted where required, some of the places we might visit include Anvers Chocolate, Simon Martin Whips & Leathercraft, Spreyton Cider, and Australia Honey Products. A visit to Sheffield is guaranteed, and we'll spend some time here before departing back to Burnie. If time permits, we'll take the coastal road through the beautiful town of Penguin.

      Amazing Time around Tasmania
We went on a two day tour around Hobart. The caves hot springs the air walks. The wooden boats. The cruise also went to Port Arthur. We even had time to stop for photos. We had an amazing tour guide Gerad who was really helpful an was entertaining us with all the things that he knew but also the information was incredible. Cheers

      Ultimate Southern Tasmania Experience!!
I cannot speak more highly of our tour guide, Keeley. She took us through a brilliantly planned trip, was super friendly to talk to, and had an amazing amount of knowledge about the local flora and fauna in each location. I was sad that the tour had to end!! All of the stops were breathtaking and time flew as the day went on. Incredible trip!! 5 stars, definitely worth it, don’t miss out!

      A great day!
The experience was great from start to end! From pickup/dropoff, to convos full of knowledgeable facts ij transit, Keeley nailed the experience for my partner and I! Starting the day with a swim before diving deep into ancient caves, followed by some lunch at an awesome pub! Lastly we went on a great walk through regrowing bushland after the bushfires! It really was an awesome day and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

      Hasting Caves and Tahune AirWalk
An amazing day filled with a variety of experiences. The highlight was the Tahune AirWalk and Swinging bridges walk. Our driver/ guide Huw was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions, as well as the continuous commentary, as we travelled through different areas. Excellent value for money.

      Hastings Caves and Tahune
This trip was excellent value, pickup from our hotel in a clean minibus, although we were quite squeezed in to the seats. If you are a large person you might be uncomfortable. Hastings caves was wonderful, but disappointing to find the thermal pool and walking tracks closed. Tahune Airwalk scenery quite sparse due to fires a few years ago, but the swinging bridge walk was fun. Keeley was a great guide and gave us lots of information and background on the places we visited. Recommend if you are reasonably fit and healthy.

      Hastings Caves trip
An enjoyable day with Malcolm driving the bus. Plenty to talk about and even though we had rain on and off during the day it was so nice to get out in the bush and walk around.

      Hastings cave
The tour operator should have warned us that the caves are cold 9 degrees and to bring warmer clothes. Tour guide was friendly and helpful.

      Beautiful day in nature
The tour was beautiful. The guide was clear about meeting pint and on time. He was funny and informative and easy conversations. THe Hasting Cave was spectacular and being 9degrees C it was pleasant especially on a hot summer day. The hot springs were clean and had a changing room, the water temp was 28 degrees C. The airwalk at Tahune Adventures was spectacular being high up in the trees seeinig the extensive damage of 2019 fires. I brought my own lunch, but the rest of the group had burgers at a restaurant that was over an hour in waiting. Great scenery on the drive. I was happy I wasn't driving since it was a long ways.
