About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- C6774WUrosiem0 contributionsPort Lincoln & Coffin Bay National Parks, Sunset Sandunes & Watermelon Avenue toursWe were lucky enough to take several tours with Ben (Lincoln National Park, Coffin Bay National Park, Sunset sandunes and 3-day Watermelon Avenue Tour. Ben was amazing throughout and far exceeded our expectations. My mother is elderly, and Ben helped her navigate tricky rock paths to enable her to reach the rock pools. We saw lots of wild life, beautiful beaches and rock formations. Ben is an accomplished photographer, and we were so grateful to him for the wonderful photos he took. We have many amazing memories of our trips with Ben. Thank you Ben :-)Written 3 December 2024
- KATHJONES190 contributionsAwesome!Ben was wonderful, we felt safe, he was respectful and had heaps of local knowledge. He even took photos of my wife and I together on the beach and in the dunes which we couldn’t take. It was such a fun day. We would recommend this tour to anyone.Written 4 November 2024
- 442marya0 contributionsSand, sun, and wildlife. What an amazing experience! A thrilling 4x4 drive through the Port Lincoln National Park as the sun was going down. We drove to a shelly beach, travelled through the natural vegetation witnessing kangaroos and emus, and stopped to appreciate the rugged ocean coastline. For us, the thrilling new experience was the drive across the sand dunes, even witnessing two emus walking sedately across the sand dune. Apart from being a mine of information about the National Park, Ben is an expert 4x4 driver. Our drive through the sand dunes had its roller coaster moments and we trusted our driver. Ben did not disappoint. It was a cloudy day and just as we had given up on seeing a spectacular sunset, colour broke out through the clouds and was reflected on clouds all around us. Spectacular! This was the highlight of our trip to Eyre Peninsular. Highly recommend it.Written 23 October 2024
- JuliaB28550 contributionsLand, Sea & SunsetGood drive through the Lincoln National Park with sightseeing along the way of kangaroos and beaches. Lots of fun driving through the sand dunes to get to our destination - stopping for a glass of wine whilst viewing the sunset over the sea!Written 23 October 2024
- victoriamT6710WC0 contributionsBen for the Win!!This was the tour of all tours! Ben made our trip absolutely amazing, he included personal touches and helped us accomplish all of our bucket list items just within the day we spent with him! He went above and beyond, cooking us a FANTASTIC meal. This has to be one of the best excursions i’ve ever been on! Do not think twice when booking- i can assure you it will be the best day!Written 12 October 2024
- michaelhV4369QL0 contributionsUnique, beautiful, super fun! This tour with Ben was really fun. Our specific tour was smaller, we were able to pile in his SUV and he tore it up on the dunes. We got bounced around and loved every minute of the ride. The national park was beautiful, great views of the see cliffs, sand dunes and a secret cove beach. He knows the specific sites to get some really cool photos. We were able to see some Australian wildlife. We took lots of photos on our own and Ben took a lot of his specific site photos that he shared in an easy link afterwards. I would recommend to anyone.Written 21 June 2024
- Dandg40 contributionsHighly recommendedWe thoroughly enjoyed our 4wd half day tour with Ben. He had so much knowledge to share about the region and was obviously committed to ensuring that we had a good time. The only thing we would change is that next time we will do a full day tour!Written 23 April 2024
- ceciliat2620 contributionsPersonalised Tour - Eyre Peninsula and Nullarbor Outback - Best Tour Guide for Off the Beaten Track in South AustraliaThis trip was amazing! I had high expectations and they were exceeded! There were so many highlights but I want to call out sandboarding on the sand dunes in Lincoln National Park, playing golf along the way on the Nullarbor Links and in the Outback at Mt Ive Station, Ben teaching us to shuck oysters in Coffin Bay National Park and the Wombat experience! So many good times!Written 11 April 2024
- Jennifer O0 contributionsEyre Peninsula and Nullarbor Outback 11 Day Personalised Adventure Tour - 2500 kms of pure Aussie adventure and so much fun! 😎Ben is a great adventure tour operator, a talented photographer and truly lovely guy. - Oigle80 contributionsAyre Peninsula Highlight!Had a fabulous day with Ben. The Lincoln National Park was beautiful, the sand dunes were a lot of fun. Then Ben cooked us up a delicious lunch on the cliff tops with beautiful scenery. Whalers Way was great and Ben pointed out the bird life. His knowledge is excellent. The final part of the day, climbing down the rocks to the rock pool to soak our feet was so nice. Ben is very patient and I felt very comfortable all day. Thanks Ben, a real highlight of my Ayre holiday.Written 24 March 2024
- Natalie T0 contributionsSanctuary visitHad the most wonderful experience with Ben visiting this amazing sanctuary for kangaroos and wombats . Ben is very knowledgeable about these beautiful animals and is passionate about their wellbeing and the fantastic sanctuary that has been created for them by these very special people. Pick up and drop off to your door, supper of fresh wraps, fruit, homemade biscuits and cakes and water /tea/ coffee. Interacting with the animals in their time and their habitat. Fed special bottle feed to kangaroos and put the dinner down for the wombats with some special cuddles mixed in. Watching them frolic around was so entertaining. Highly recommend.Written 14 March 2024
- U8938TYrobk0 contributionsRob & AlexBy far one of the best experiences we have ever had in Australia. Ben was an absolutely brilliant tour guide with a wealth of knowledge. We discovered Mikkira Station Koala Sanctuary with Ben. We were the only ones in this private park with our guide. Honestly the most beautiful encounter with these adorable marsupials in Australia. We walked for about an hour and saw 35 koalas, often very close, it was magical! Ben is very friendly and passionate about nature. He gave us lots of information about the koala lifestyle. Ben is also a great photographer and the tour included his photos which he sent to us by email. We also enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon tea at the end of the tour. I highly recommend this experience.

Hi there,
Thanks for your 5-star review! I'm glad you enjoyed the tour, and I really appreciate the opportunity to show both of you Mikkira Station. Also, we are pretty lucky for the day as we do not often see baby emus and kangaroos around daylight! Thanks again for your review, hope you enjoy your time in Port Lincoln and have a safe journey back home!
Kind regards, Ben
