- Daydream363055423230 contributionsAmazing experienceWe had an amazing family experience for our Dad's 80th birthday. Nothing was too much for Kelly. It was a huge day for her picking us up early in the morning in the Entertainer and dropping us home late at night. Every stop, we came back to fresh drinks glasses and the floor vacuumed! Kelly goes the extra mile and is such fun on the trip. Thank you Kelly and Team for making Dad's birthday one to remember!Written 19 August 2024
- LeeArrnne0 contributionsAwesome Birthday ExperienceAfter months in the planning and collaboration with Kel, my 60th birthday celebrations exceeded all my expectations! I chose the Adelaide Hills Cheese and Chocolate tour, with a couple of tweaks. Our daughter’s 30th is two days after mine and it turned into a wonderful joint celebration with thoughtful touches from Kel including a 60 and 30 balloon as well as a special chocolate treat for us both. Once we were all aboard the Entertainer Limo, we were treated with a glass of bubbles (or water) which we enjoyed en route to our first destination at Melba’s Chocolates. Their tills ran hot with purchases before it was time to reboard the Limo to journey to our next stop at Hahndorf Hill Winery. Our group enjoyed a paired chocolate and wine tasting experience in the ViewTube, overlooking the vineyards. Differing dietary needs of the group were catered for with a cheese platter and non alcohol option. The knowledge of Dee who looked after our group was amazing and the service was great. Beautiful ambiance as well. Our next destination was Grünthal Brewing with Cheese Fondue by Udder Delights. With dietary needs once again satisfied every member of the group enjoyed the experience. Beerenburg was next where we were treated to a sample of their famous strawberry icecream and sorbet, with a special surprise for the birthday girls which consisted of a totally edible miniature chocolate pot plant with flower. We also had the opportunity to purchase some of Beerenburg’s yummy jams and pickles or just browse in their new Farm Shop. It was lucky we all saved some room for coffee and cake at The Haus! I couldn’t fault the service and attention to detail we had at each venue. We have travelled with Kel before and can’t wait to book another tour at sometime in the future. Thank you Kel for a truly amazing day, when I think back I have feelings of joy and can picture everyone smiling!Written 21 July 2024

- kenwK2315UM0 contributionsGreat tour, even when clouds roll in.We had a great time on this tour. Kelly was a top notch tour guide with intimate knowledge and an obvious love of the area. The scenery was spectacular and we had ample opportunity for photos during several stops along the way. Our dinner at the Swan Reach was great and Kelly’s presentation was remarkable. The story about how the dark sky reserve came to be and it’s impact on the area and SA was moving. The cultural site was a high point. Ivy did a great job raising our understanding of the people native to this part of the Murray River. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and clouds rolled in preventing us from enjoying the “icing on our cake” which I’m sure would have been a beautiful view of some of the darkest night skies. If we ever come this way again, we will definitely take another shot seeing that dark night sky.Written 11 October 2023

Wow! What a unique experience! To have the opportunity to see the stars in such a beautiful way was a once in a lifetime experience.
Kelly is a supreme host with the best bus to see such a stunning countryside prior to the “main act”. The engagement from the ‘ship captain’ Levi and astronomers Joe and Lyn was of the highest level as they shared their vase knowledge with us.
I couldn’t recommend doing this experience enough, I went solo but couples and families all enjoying the tour together. Doing the Dark Sky and Sunset tour with dinner is enjoying the whole experience offered at the River Murray.

Thank you Kel!! From the moment we met you and stepped onto the entertainer we knew it would be a worthwhile and fun experience. The river cruise up and down the Murray viewing the bird life with Levi's informative commentary was quite special. Identifying the true wannabe astronomer in our family you especially created a magical memory for our eldest child. Upon arrival to Walker's Flat the excitement only escalated as the skies darkened and the astronomer shared his amazing knowledge of the beautiful stars and planets. Truly a memory that we will always be reminded whenever we are star gazing.... we will be back!

Terrific! It's so important to encourage young people to further their knowledge and surround themselves in nature, so we thankyou for leading the way and joining this experience with us! The echidna crossing, the sunset timing, and the terrific company we enjoyed together saw all the stars align for your magical memories. Thankyou and we very much look forward to hosting you again!

Fantastic tour with a great and well informed host. They picked us up from the Bridgeport Hotel in Murray Bridge . The vehicle was clean, safe and well appointed. We were greeted with some bubbles and a warm welcome. We then headed up the river with interesting commentary about the region.
The tour then had a few stops overlooking the river, wildlife, and beautiful cliffs just before sunset. The views were incredible. We then stopped for a quick dinner at the Swan Reach Hotel. During dinner, our host Kelly, shared a fun and informative talk about what we would be seeing the rest of the evening.
We then drove a few minutes to an Aboriginal site. It was particularly interesting to me to learn that people have lived on this site for about 8,000 years. Indigenous hosts shared their knowledge of the site which gave me a real appreciation of the history of this area and all who have lived here.
Juggle House Experiences and Kelly took us to the Dark Sky site where we were me by astronomer Joe and his wife Lynn. Joe had his sophisticated telescope set up for us to view through but also shared his extensive knowledge of the skies. I saw more stars that night than I ever have before and learned a great deal from Joe. Kelly also shared hot chocolate and of, course, Milky Way bars, while we were viewing the skies.
Finally, we were driven back to where we started at the completion of the tour. This was a very fun and informative experience. I can highly recommend Juggle House Experiences and Kelly!

I’ve never had an experience as infuriating as this! I booked a tour while staying in Adelaide, and although the price was high (over $200 USD), I thought it would be worth it. As soon as I completed the payment, I discovered that the meeting point was an hour and a half away from Adelaide by car! Shocked, I immediately contacted the company (Vistour) to cancel, considering the tour was still more than a week away and I had paid less than five minutes ago.
**Their response?** "No cancellations allowed." Seriously? I've never encountered a company so unwilling to accommodate a reasonable request, especially with so much advance notice. That was the first sign that something was off.
I then looked into transportation options, and the cheapest I could find was $400 AUD just to get to the meeting point and back. This was turning into a ridiculous expense for a tour that was supposed to be enjoyable.
But it gets worse! The company emailed me to say that depending on the weather, the tour might not happen, and they would inform me on the day of the tour at 10 AM. So, I checked the weather forecast myself, and it predicted rain all day. Despite this, they said the tour would proceed. At this point, it was clear that this was a second attempt to scam me, so I decided to cut my losses and not spend another cent on what was shaping up to be a complete waste of time.
**My advice?** Avoid this company like the plague. I’ve never seen such an inflexible and untrustworthy operation. If you value your money and sanity, look elsewhere!

Thank you for your detailed review as it helps to improve our services, however in this case I feel it is only right and fair that the readers understand both sides of the situation.
There is no part of our business that is a scam and accusations otherwise, are highly offensive and at risk of being unfairly destructive to our small family business. The tour description clearly lists the name of the town where our tour departure point is located prior to booking, and we advised transport options to the Dark Sky Reserve, a dedicated area away from light pollution, just 90 minutes from the City of Adelaide in South Australia. We did discuss with you in the early stages that you would need to contact Viator to arrange cancellation, but you went ahead and booked the transfer.
As also communicated in the lead up to the tour, the final decision on the day proceeds based on detailed and scientific weather forecasting, not a googled weather forecasts by international customers unfamiliar with the area.
On the day of the tour at 10am we sent 2 x confirmation messages. The 19 other trusting people on our tour that experienced clear skies that evening after a rainy day, thoroughly enjoyed their astronomy session. At all steps in our Dark Sky Digital Guidebook confirmation link, our process is to outline the weather cancellation policy, which also clearly indicates that some of the best viewing of astronomy takes place after rain cleanses that atmosphere of dust particles.
Our 7 hour tour is a carefully arranged and custom built experience to showcase the whole of the region, with a Dinner and Dark Sky Reserve Presentation, and on that night, the 8,000 Year Old Rock Shelter Tour by Aboriginal Tour hosts, as well as the most brilliant view of the Milky Way, Saturn and other celestial objects through a powerful telescope were missed by you.
Perhaps the most disappointing of all is to receive such a review from a ‘No Show’ without communicating with us until sending this review. We heard second hand on the day of the tour at 11am (3.5 hours before the departure time for your transfer) that you had informed that separate small business owner who had held space for your transfer also, 'You know I think I won’t go it’s so rainy and I think I won’t see any thing it won’t be worth it'. We have a trusted relationship with our touring partner connecting transfers from Adelaide, and on this occasion his small business had turned away another booking and lost yours, so this is double the pain.
To receive such a response is incredibly disappointing, and we do genuinely hope that if you return to Australia again, that we are able to show you first hand, that we have lived up to the many other remaining positive reviews on this platform.

Did the Dark Sky Gold Star Sunset Dinner tour and had a wonderful time. It's obvious that Kelly loves her community and the area; she was knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting insights while keeping the tour light and fun. Levi was great on the river boat part of the tour where we saw much of the local Birdlife and got close to the limestone cliffs. Dinner was a very good pub meal and the Dark Sky with Joe was awesome, especially with his passionate commentary. Highly recommended.

The team were really nice. The gentlemen who was explaining to us about all the different kinds of stars were pouring lots of interesting information to us, he is very keen to share his knowledge with us. He also taught us to us our iPhone camera to take an incredible photos of the stars!
Kelly, who was the Master Juggler were really taking care of us by giving out some really warm blankets and hot chocolate.

We loved it! Kelly is an accomplished local guide who is passionate about ensuring we had the best experience possible. The opportunity to go to the Ngaut Ngaut indigenous site and hear from the Traditional Owners about the history and importance of the area and the rock carvings was well worth while. The weather came good for us and we had the best view of the night sky at the Dark Sky Reserve! To see light from distant stars that had travelled millions of years to get to us here on earth was really cool and the commentary from Joe about all things astronomical was enlightening and informative.
I thoroughly recommend this experience!

What an incredible night we had with the dark sky experience with Jugglehouse. I have lived all of my life in South Australia and have never experienced anything like this before. So many things to rave about. From the incredible views of the Murray River cliffs, the great pub meal at Swan Reach and my favourite, the unbelievable Aboriginal engravings in the cliffs at Ngaut Ngaut. Explained to us by Aboriginal Elder Ivy and 2 of her daughters. It was the site of the first archaeological dig anywhere in Australia. Finishing it off was the view of the Milky Way in the dark sky reserve with two experienced astronomers using an advanced telescope. Will never forget viewing Saturn through the telescope! Thank you Kelly for having the foresight to set up this incredible package. Would highly recommend this to everyone.

Had a great time! Firstly - the host Kelly is amazing, very responsive and communicative and has a passion for what she does. The activity itself is not to be missed if you have any interest in the stars, galaxies, space or astronomy. I really loved the astronomer’s breakdown with the big telescope that was on-site. What we saw, with the clarity of what we saw, made this a cant-miss activity and I’m so thankful to have done this experience.

It’s wonderful to know that the passion delivered by the human stars who truly love their job, resonated with you. We're glad you found the astronomer’s detailed breakdown helpful and that the clarity through the telescope exceeded your expectations. Your enthusiasm for the stars and space makes it all worthwhile for us. We hope to see you again for more cosmic adventures! Thank you once again for sharing your experience!

A fantastic Mannum adventure with a brilliant guide. Kelly's warm energy made our group of 4 separate couples feel instantly comfortable and connected. This tour is great because it provides an opportunity to get on the water - the best way to appreciate the scale and beauty of the Murray River. Incredible bird life. The dark sky and astronomy element was mind blowing - South Australia is so luck to have this reserve, and Jugglehouse provides an easy and comfortable way to experience it. Local guides delivering genuine and local stories make this a must-do for visitors to SA, but South Australians also shouldn't underestimate how great this tour experience is and how much you will gain from it. Don't bother doing Dark Sky by yourself.

Can you please advise why there are two time options for this tour - is there a different itinery for the day tour that starts at 8am?
Also can you advise what additional cost it would be for a pick up and drop off from Adelaide CBD hotel?
Thank You

The dark sky tour only starts just before sunset when there is no moon. The tour site is about 1 to 1.25 hour away from Adelaide by car , so car hire would be cheap. Suggest emailing Juggle house who manage the tours as she is very very helpful and she also does other tours to wine regions
