Hahndorf Strassendorf Walking Tour. A wonderful morning spent with Sharon and Christine, sharing their knowledge of the history of Hahndorf and German cooking. Having visitied Hahndorf many times it was very intersting to find out the history of places we would normally walk past, Sharon was very passionate and inclusive with her story telling skills. I would highly recommend joining with Sharon and Christine for a fantastic experience.

Hahndorf is what I thought it would be and more. Especially after the fantastic Studel and Stroll Tour with Sharon. It was very interesting to learn about the town including its history struggles and triumphs of its men, women and its community. Can really see the passion in this town and its connection to their heritage. Strudel making & eating was wonderful. Definitely book at the Hahndorf in for lunch - not to be missed.

Sharon gave us an entertaining and informative tour of Hahndorf. In an easy walking tour we learnt about what drove people to leave their homes and cross the ocean to South Australia, and all that it took to build their new lives in the hills above Adelaide. With access to areas that are closed to the general public we got an appreciation of Hahndorf that extended well beyond its beautifully preserved colonial buildings. Highly recommend spending some time with Hahndorf Walking Tours.

Sharon was fantastic. So knowledgeable and gave us a in depth history of the area, sharing significant sites and facts but in a way that was easy to appreciate and learn from. We did the Strudel making at the Hahndorf Inn first and thought our guide would be there for this.. We also enjoyed lunch at the hotel afterwards and had our own strudel served to us for dessert. My daughter and I had an excellent tour with Sharon. She is so vibrant in her presentation and knowledgable about the history of the Hahndorf area. I was impressed with how she involved 2 younger members of our tour group and was able to make the history come alive. Without the tour I feel we would not have enjoyed Hahndorf in the same way. I totally recommend this tour.

Loved this tour with Lorraine and highly recommend it. Hahndorf is so obviously beautiful and easy to enjoy with its leafy avenues, historic facades, art and cafes but having a deeper understanding of the history helped me enjoy it even more. Absolutely world class!

We were fortunate to be in the area for the Christkindlmarkt, and found online by accident a Strudel & Stroll Tour. So we booked it! What a great experience!! Firstly making a strudel that we could enjoy after the tour. Then meeting Sharon, who has so much interesting information to share about Hahndorf and the Prussians arriving and settling. Seeing back streets and areas we would never dream of being allowed to venture into. Thank you for adding to our adventures.

2 of us took a 1 hour+ walking tour of Hahndorf with Lorraine recently. She was most informative and shared a wealth of historical facts about the founding of Hahndorf and the surrounding region.that you would simply not be able to garner just by walking around. Would certainly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of the town & area.

We booked the Hahndorf after dark tour, very last minute on the day of the tour. This was not an issue for Sharon who turned up and essentially provided us a private tour as it was only my partner and I. Sharon was fun, personable and very knowledgeable of the Hahndorf history. It was great getting this history and then walking around the next day looking at town and understanding that.

Seeing the original buildings in the area. The back streets would have been something we would not have otherwise seen.
