          Sunset
I loved our tour leader how she looked after us. She was very knowledgeable and self taught.. We even enjoyed watching the storm come in.

          What a terrific experience!
Vicki sure knows her stuff! Her commentary was interesting and informative. Cheese, biscuits and a glass of wine watching that beautiful sunset with plenty of time to take photos was amazing. Thank you Vicki. We will be recommending you to anyone travelling to Winton❤️

Interesting window onto Australian dinosaurs, great scenery.
Bec is a really good guide. I thoroughly enjoyed her running commentary over the few days I travelled with her (1/2 day to AAOD and 3/4 day to Dinosaur Stampede). She’s extremely knowledgeable about the area, the geology, the wildlife, the palaeontology. She worked at the AAOD for many years before tour guiding for Red Dirt Tours. Her heart is absolutely in this area.

Great tours to Larks Quarry and Rangelands Rift
Excellent tours, with friendly, knowledgeable and helpful guides. Rangelands sunset tour of only 4 passengers with incredible scenic rock formations and lovely sunset Larks Quarry and dinosaur stampede with great commentary throughout the long drive from Winton and back. I'd definitely recommend Red Dirt Tours when touring the Winton area.

          As Expansive as the Horizons
My recent travels with Red Dirt Tours on the 6 day tour to experience the dinosaur trail was absolutely brilliant. The carefully selected itinerary, charming hotels and knowledgeable staff gave us the perfect opportunity to explore this region of stunning outback beauty and scientific marvels. Vicky took into account and made arrangements as needed for any special requirements required by members of the tour. Can’t say enough really - the experience was as expansive as the horizons. Thank you. Robbie

          Winton Area Exploration
When we booked our tour, we had some idea of what to expect, but I can honestly say that it exceeded our expectations. We were the only ones on the tour that day, and our driver / guide, Ange, was bright, attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. She made sure we were made to feel welcome, showed us sights we'd never had seen on our own, and was a wealth of information. There was plenty of good food and drinks during the day, and it wasn't rushed, so you had time to take in the countryside and appreciate the history of the area. A worthwhile experience made even better because Ange was such an excellent host. Highly recommended.

          Dinosaur Footprints!
This tour was great, Bec was an excellent guide, incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the area, totally happy to stop along to way to check out it the local wildlife, sometimes backtracking to get a good view The bus is a big modern and comfortable 4x4 bus, carefully driven across the rugged terrain to a very modern facility housing the world’s only dinosaur stampede. Jon, our guide while at the display, is very passionate about what the does and loves to share his knowledge on to topic before showing you the main event, over 3k dinosaur footprints which really makes you think and visualise the time these ancient beings were around 10/10 great tour, would recommend

A great half day adventure with detailed knowledge and history
This tour with Red Dirt Tours is a must. Pickup and drop-off from Winton. The guide gives you the added insight to the area that you possibly would miss being independent. We were guided to each area of the exhibit ensuring we were present for the tour.

We did the afternoon tour, which leaves Winton around 2.00 and gets back into town around 6.00. Even though we had our own vehicle, it wasn’t a 4WD so we knew we wouldn’t be able to access too much of the national park. Our driver, Jamie, told us about the natural and human history of the area. It was great to be able to sit back and relax while someone else did the driving! Would highly recommend the tour.

This was day 3 of our time with Red Dirt Tours and again our guide was Bec. She took us to Bladensberg National Park which included the Bladensberg homestead and shearing shed. This was of particular interest to us with my family having been graziers and running sheep. The whole thing brought back many dear memories of visits to the property and being involved with managing the sheep. We went further into the park to Scrammy gorge, Scrammy waterhole and Scrammy lookout, all are places you must see. Lots of wildlife, amazing trees, a beautiful gorge and beautiful views. We were sad that our stay was coming to a close.

Thank you Neil! Bladensburg National Park is a hidden gem! The mix of history and the natural environment if just wonderful isn't it?! And it's nice to slow down a little from the other tours too.

Once again we had a fantastic tour. Our tour guide Jamie picked us up at our accommodation and along with a group of lovely ladies we were off to Bladensburg. Jamie was informative and knowledgeable regarding the park and surrounds. We saw beautiful scenery, gorges, water holes and the most beautiful sunset. Great value for money. Thank you Red Dirt tours once again.

This tour is a must-do for anyone who would like to see how a working station operated over the last two centuries in the Winton region. Vicki's amount of knowledge about the property is absolutely astounding and you definitely learn more on her tours than you would self-driving. The scenery is gorgeous and the morning tea was excellent, definitely a morning out to remember.
