Did my skydive in Mission Beach and it was one of the best things I have ever done! The crew was really friendly and made feel comfortable in preparation for my jump. The views are incredible, would highly recommend!

The experience of skydiving here was absolutely great! All the staff were amazing and it was a pretty organised day. The guys make you feel very safe and the skydive itself was fun and the guy on my back even pointed out a turtle in the reef which was cool! The only disappointing thing was that I paid $300 altogether for photos and videos but the watch cam cut out for the actual jump out of the plane which is of course the absolute best bit in terms of pictures! I did get $150 refunded but you can't really see my face in the video of the jump out of the plane from far away. I still got some good pictures and videos from other times, it's just that the one bit I really wanted unfortunately wasn't captured and it's a lot of money so a big shame. The skydive itself was really really great though.

Besides having a gorgeous view, my experience here was awesome! It was my first time skydiving, and of course I was afraid! But Mike kept me at ease with all his jokes and messing with me. Mikes an awesome instructor! I was shaking and he was informative with everything and what to expect which really helped me! 10/10 recommend! Just wish you can buy the video without buying all the pictures!

I did a sky dive here on my travels around Australia last September. I had the most amazing experience with the best possible guy called Tom. He made me feel so at ease and assured me not to be scared (As you can imagine i was thinking why have i booked this) Haha!! Best thing ive ever done in my life Tom was amazing and im so glad i was partnered up with him for the big jump and flying through the sky. Hopefully one day ill be able to travel Oz again and find my way back to mission beach to do another skydive. Thanks again would highly recommend

Great activity from mission beach. Arrived at the launch at 0800. Westerly winds so we where asked to completed the relivent documentation. And went and grabbed breakfast. The team gave us a approx departure time and it was spot on. Once the wind changed to the correct direction (to be expected this time of year) straight to the airstrip then free fall. I can see quite a few comments regarding the time waiting for the weather.....it's weather. Can't be controlled. Team did a great job !

Today I jumped out of a plane 15,000 ft high and I had the blessing to do that over the Great Barrier Reef. The staff is super friendly and really takes time to calm you down if your nervous like me! My instructor Sinno was amazing and very very friendly, I was freaking out and crying at the moment i had to jump but he really calmed me down! Amazing experience!

We arrived at Mission beach at 9am after a 2 hour journey from Cairns, where we were told that our skydive was cancelled due to poor weather conditions (fair enough). But we were then informed that we would have to wait until 4pm to get the bus back to Cairns. It was disappointing to have to spend 7 hours hanging around rainy Mission beach, on top of 4 hours travelling, for an activity we weren’t able to do. The staff were rather un-empathetic -suggesting we go to the beach or on a walk (despite the heavy rain). They all took the opportunity to drive home a few hours early - I guess they didn’t fancy sunbathing in the rain or going on a wet hike either. One member of staff who was driving back to Cairns, offered a lift to two of the more vocal customers, leaving those of us who had tried to be more polite and understanding towards the staff behind to wait a further 3 hours. You guys need to either sort out a bus back for when it’s cancelled or decide in the morning whether we’re jumping or not. It’s so unfair to get us to come all the way there just to waste our entire day, just for the chance to not have to refund/ reschedule us. We woke up at 5:30 AM and got back to the hostel at 6:40PM - it’s almost impressive how much of our time you wasted.

To start, the actual skydive experience was incredible, breathtaking and something I would highly recommend to anyone considering doing one. However, the general experience otherwise was very poorly organised. I was supposed to be picked up from my accommodation Cairns at 6:30am, by 6:50am no bus had shown up so I rang the company to make sure we were at the correct pick up location. the first call was transferred and then no one answered so I rang again to then be told the bus was delayed. At 7am the bus turned up, we then got dropped off and had to wait 15 minutes for another bus before a two hour journey. We had been told that it was a 2 hour journey to Mission Beach from Cairns so that would have been ok par the delays. When we then arrived we were told that we couldn't check in until 11am. upon returning to the skydiving office at 11am we then had to wait until 12pm to be checked in, to be told that we then would not be jumping until 2:15pm. Returning at 12:15pm we then waited until 3pm before getting kitted up ready for the jump. It seemed as if we had been waiting around all day and the frustration took away the excitement of doing the skydive completely. I have no idea why the company don't split the day in half and have two different groups, a morning and afternoon to save people wasting the entire day waiting around (as we couldn't even explore Mission Beach as we were told to wait by the building)! I was not impressed by the lack of professionalism of one of the bus drivers either.

The whole experience was amazing. Jumping out at 15,000ft, free-falling then floating over the sea and landing on Mission Beach. Staff here are fantastic and extremely attentive. One of our party isn’t the most confident with heights and Anna coached her through the whole jump, reassured her and gave her the thrill of her life. Think it cost around GBP£145 to jump + AUD$35 Australian Parachute Federation (compulsory) membership. They also try and sell you the video/pictures which is about AUD$120 - but well worth it as it’s captured on a GoPro. Jumped a few times around the world and this one tops them all.

The dive itself was incredible! The views were like no other. We were lucky enough to have had decent weather before the thunderstorms. The reasoning for the average rating was because I purchased the video and picture footage which is a lot of money on top of what you are already paying. There was no option to view then purchase, you were only able to purchase before the skydive. We were the last group to go back to Cairns so the bus was waiting for us and we were not able to review the footage prior to leaving the office. Once I saw the video and pictures I was beyond disappointed. My guide was about my height (162 cm.) and the majority of the pictures and video is solely of my face, chin, and mouth as they were not able to get the full scenery and fall.. For what it costs, I was extremely disappointed. I would not recommend purchasing the extra footage if you are placed with someone with short arms (as silly as that sounds).

This was my second dive, and whilst the views and the dive was amazing, I felt it was very commercial. What i mean by this is - everything was rushed. i felt like a sheep being huddled in to a plane, pushed out and then a race back to earth. Sky Diving is meant to be a magical experience, being able to take it all in - the views, the rush of air, the feeling of falling, conquering any fears you may have. to give you an idea, i was picked up from my hostel at 7am, and i had landed just after 8am... that included signing forms, driving to the airstrip, plane journey and the sky dive - all in 75 minutes. The free-fall was pretty standard - approx 40 - 60 seconds, but then the parachute part felt as if the instructor needed to get me down as soon as possible, so that he could then take the next person up. no debriefing. Go Pro footage was terrible and awkward. They also do not allow you to take your own GoPro up, even if you have the wrist strap and all the correct Go Pro equipment, the exact same as what they use. Charge you $110-$150 extra on photos/videos. They make up some BS about the GoPros have to be legally signed off making them safe to skydive with... Its a Go Pro, it has one button to push! Dont' get me wrong, the views were incredible to see the Barrier Reef, but i was hugely disappointed in the company... The Beach landing is pretty cool, but if i did it again, i would choose a different company and perhaps in a different location - a more independent company who takes time, and makes sure their divers are having a good time.

The views were Amazing and I felt Very safe during the whole skydive. Though My instructor wasn’t the best kind of non-caring comparing to the other guides. But I’m Glad with My experience and I Will do it again! Probably with the same company because I felt that I was in Good hands. 130$ for a go pro film, a bit to espensive in My opinion.

Hi, All that are thinking about doing it..book it and do it life is to short.What an experience,done my sky dive on 01/12/2018 I will never forget this experience from start to finish, the jump from the plane and free fall was exhilarating and once the chute opens its time to take in the views not to say when you free fall you don’t see the views but your just screaming with excitement.. First time skydiving and it was phenomenal. Mission Beach gives a simultaneous view of the beach, reef and forest. Dove with skydive Australia who was very professional and safe. I arrange this has its day trip from Cairns. While it was well-organized, there was a lot of waiting during the day since several rounds of jumps had to go before heading back to cairns. If I were to do this again, I would stay overnight at Mission Beach or nearby Townsville

Had a fabulous trip with skydive Australia. First ever skydive and they staff are really helpful and informative, including pickup and drop offs to the hostel. Best views over mission beach and decent price for pics and video package too. Would highly recommend
