      Must unreal river cruise ever!
My husband and 3 kids decided to go out on a river cruise to show the kids crocodile’s, and WOW the cruise did not disappoint. Our river guide was so knowledgeable about the river and all the animals, we not only seen crocodile’s but also snakes owls beautiful birdlife and other amazing creatures that call the river home. We were greeted on arrival by wonderful staff. Thanks so much for making this holiday one my kids will never forget! They still are talking about it 2 days on and want to go out once more before we leave! Thanks so much again

      Amazing value
Great experience. Seen 3 crocodiles. Excellent value for money. We only seen a small bit of the river but alas didn’t need to see a whole lot of it because the crocs were located fairly close to the docking pontoon.

From the welcome when we arrived to the end of the tour the staff were very friendly. Our boat tour was full of interesting information. Did we see crocodiles? Yes we definitely saw some large ones, as well as bird life. It is a beautiful place

      Average Rainforest Cruise
I rate this experience 3/5 stars simply because the timing of our cruise allowed very few sightings (4 in over an hour, and only 1 small crocodile). I highly recommend planning the timing of the cruise in advance to increase your chance of seeing multiple crocodiles and other creatures, which in our case was disappointing. Other than that, the experience was well organized and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

      Best cruise in daintree
Amazing trip, done it back in 2019 with another trip and this was amazing compared to that. We saw the 2 biggest crocs and also snakes and baby crocs. What made it better is that we could bring the dog along and she was so welcome. I would do this again when we are back in the daintree first class Experience

We had an awesome experience and saw some baby crocodiles. We were the only ones on the boat and got really lucky with our guide, who was super knowledgeable not only on crocodiles but also various other species! Definitely a must do

      Amazing family river cruise
Our family of five just finished a river cruise with our guide Anthony from Daintree River Cruise Centre. Anthony was amazing. Very knowledgeable, fun and kept everyone engaged. Found us several baby crocs and one adult. The river is beautiful. The boat has lots of shade. Highly recommend.

      Crocs in the wild
I would highly recommend this cruise, the crew we very attentive and professional, there was 9 in our group and were lucky enough to have the whole boat to ourselves, the skipper was extremely knowledgeable, going out of his way to make sure we saw at least 1 crock.

      ok
The water was unfortunately too high to see larger crocs and there were no snakes (green or pythons). We did see 3 small (under 1 m) reptiles on logs and the bank. In any case, it was nice to get a sense of the river, and the guide was informative and interesting. Would recommend.

      Daintree river croc cruise
We were lucky to get a few spots on a late morning cruise and the prices was very reasonable. The boat was good for viewing the river and the guide/captain knew the river and where crocs might be visible. Too bad for us we cruised at a very high tide so this limited the areas on the bank a croc could be seen. The captain did find a 3 meter croc though so for that alone the trip was worth while. He was also able to spot a large python in a tree and other smaller snakes in riverbank trees. The staff at the location were all very pleasant and offered tea coffee or juice while we waited for the cruise to leave. It’s only a 1 hour cruise so easy to fit into a visit to the rainforest. A must thing to do as the crocs are an important element of the environment. Be sure to stay clear of all water while in the rainforest unless specifically note the area is croc free. In speaking to a park ranger, large crocs inhabit all waterways that feed into the ocean. They also will reside on beaches in on the ocean so no taking a swim anywhere not specifically noted as croc free.

We had a great cruise with Bruce and spotted 4 different crocodiles. It was a real highlight to see ‘Scarface’ a large old male croc first up and if that was all we had seen, we would have been happy. We did, however, also see a female on another bank and a small baby. The 4th was just getting into the water as we approached but that was also interesting just to see how quickly they ‘disappear’ only to be sitting so close to the surface.

The boat was a good size and enabled everyone to stand up and take photos. The river itself is stunning and we had great views as we were cruising up and down. Bruce was very entertaining and obviously knew lot about crocodiles as well as the local environment. A great trip on the Daintree River.

Was keen to cruise along the Daintree River in hope of seeing a croc in the wild. Was not disappointed. Within a few minutes our guide Anthony had spotted a baby croc and then knew where to find some of the regular large crocs. We saw about 7 crocs total with most being more then 2 metres in length. 2 were swimming along he edge of the river. Anthony was a guide who not only knew about crocs, but well versed in local fauna and flora and the entire wet tropics eco system. He has a keen eye too and spotted several tree snakes, all this while he battled severe hayfever. Highly recommended tour.

Really enjoyed talking with the lady selling the tickets about local spiders. She was very interesting and took time to take us outside and show us how one of the golden orb spiders lives. The boat trip was good value for money and the driver was informative

All I wanted to do when we went for a trip to Cairns was see a wild croc and I definitely got more then my money’s worth in this tour! Graham our guide was full of knowledge and jokes as we cruised down the river. I was over the moon when Graham started pointing out not only crocs of all sizes, but some native birds and snakes in the trees. He made sure everyone on the boat saw each creature as we past, stopping the boat and making sure everyone could see what he was pointing out. I’ll definitely be back for another cruise next time I’m up in the Daintree area
Thanks for the great customer service with a smile. The lovely owner even gave us some recommendations of swimming spots and where to get some lunch after the tour was over 😊

Four of us (2 Couples) enjoyed our Daintree River Cruise very much and consider it a highlight of our travels.
We were warmly and enthusiastically welcomed at the centre by Kianna and her dog Winston and shared our picnic lunch in the beautiful gardens provided for our enjoyment.
The fact the centre is the only eco certified operator in the Daintree was important in making our choice and having brought our own BYO Cups we were pleased that a $1 per cup was donated to Conservation.
Our "Skipper" Graham provided an engaging and extremely informative commentary as we travelled on the Daintree River. Everyone on board was excited to see crocodiles at close but safe proximity. The young ones sighted, indicate a healthy population for the future also. Thankyou Kianna for providing such an amazing opportunity to participate in this wonderful experience. It reminded us of the importance of human coexistence with the environment and our responsibilities to conserve this unique gift for the future.

We went on a 1hr cruise which was very reasonably priced but sadly saw no crocs but enjoyed the beauty of the Daintree. Graham, our guide offered everyone the opportunity of staying on the boat to see a croc. He was determined that we would see one. In the end we saw 3, two males 4.5 and 5 m long and a female on her nest. In all we spent about 3 hours on the river which was great. Thanks graham!

This cruise is a highlight for anyone visiting the far north. The tranquil waters proivide a peaceful backdrop for crocodile and bird sightings. Our knowledgeable guide, Bruce, pointed out everything from baby crocodiles to camouflaged frogmouths and made sure everyone had a chance to see them.
If you self drive you also experience the beautiful trip back to the starting point with much fewer people on board.
Excellent staff and help for those travelling to Cape Tribulation afterwards. Thanks Bonny! Awesome job!

We had an excellent time on our Daintree River Cruise, we saw lots of crocs and bird wildlife. Our tour guide was fantastic at spotting where the crocs were, it would take us forever to find them yet he could spot them a mile away. All up we saw 3 big crocs and lots of baby crocs of various sizes, we even had a small croc swim along in the creek with us for awhile.

I'd done a croc cruise on the Daintree years ago and we only spotted a few small ones, I was very impressed by what we saw on this cruise and how experienced the guide was. He was also very informative and funny which made for an enjoyable and entertaining cruise.

It was nice to be treated to a drink and biscuits at the cruise centre while we waited for our cruise time along with clean toilet facilities, reading materials, tourist info and other interesting items. Plenty of shade in the gardens and the centre to relax in.

The rainy season in northern Queensland is supposed to be between January and March and I was visiting at the beginning of July. It rained quite heavily on all five of the days I was staying, but I had this river cruise booked to see crocodiles and so I turned up anyway. The guide told us that crocodiles usually bask in the sun on the muddy banks of the river, but at the moment with the unseasonal weather it was warmer under the water for them, than out of the water. However the unseasonal weather is clearly not under the control of the tour operator!

Despite the weather we saw four or five crocodiles and some interesting birds in the hour we were on the river. Including a lovely kingfisher. We did see one of the oldest and biggest of the local male crocodiles swimming across the river so could not see quite how big he was, but looking at the speed at which he travelled was quite something.

The boat was clean and comfortable and left on time. We were welcomed before boarding with the offer of tea, coffee, juice or water and free biscuits. The little French bulldog that belongs to the owner was very friendly especially where the biscuits were involved. I had a good time despite the weather. There appears to be a few companies offering similar cruises but I chose this one because of the good reviews.
