- jsdolphin00Port Douglas - Wow - Lovely people - knowledge abound.A++ would recommend, go to port douglas, don't stay in Cairn, there is much better to get out and about, and Exemplar shuttle was good, Thanks with Chris and Sixt, port douglas, way to go with these people.
- Tassie202300Tassie on holidaysGreat staff and amenities. We had a good commentary and the guides knowledge of the area and the resident crocodiles was passionate.
- Colin T00Daintree CruiseThe guide knew where to find the local wildlife & pointed out many different plants as well as the resident crocodiles and a pair of mating tree snakes.
- dougcJ1312RL00Great guide highly recommendThe guide was great. Very knowledgeable and a real character. We knew prior to booking that due to it being November crocs would be harder to spot but still managed to see three along the way. Lots of good information and a fun and friendly tour. Highly recommended
- globetrotter21202400Very knowledgeable guide!Pleasant cruise with very knowledgeable, experienced local guide. Sustainable, crocodile-friendly approach. Fewer crocodiles spotted than usual since we were in lower season but guide went out of the way to communicate with other boats and circle back until we located a couple!
- allisonstarkey00Fun TripHad a great trip to see if we could see a crocodile in its natural habitat. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny and made the trip very enjoyable. How he spotted a green tree snake I’ll never know. Not a lot of crocodiles around due to the time of year, but we did see a juvenile crocodile.
- hartmanlisa202300Enjoyable (and lucky) cruiseWe found everything about this cruise to be smoothly run and enjoyable. We were able to book just the day before, which isn’t always the case with tourist activities but is helpful as flexibility is important while travelling. Our guide led us to a half-dozen sightings, which was lucky in part, but also demonstrated his skill in finding and seeing them. His commentary was also a good blend of humour and serious cautionary tales, which both reflected and instilled a healthy respect for crocodiles. Thanks for a great trip!
- mark b00Informative CruiseOur guide had an excellent knowledge of the local fauna and flora, he spotted a green tree snake that I had trouble seeing until we were almost next to it.
- M8036XLirenec00Amazing experienceOur guide, Brad was very friendly and informative. We ended up seeing two crocs thanks to his sharp eyesight! Absolutely amazing experience.
- christinewalsh8700Daintree River CruiseGreat boat ride and commentary. The provided snacks were a bonus to the trip. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
- ljcdmo00AWESOME TRIPBrilliant service. We booked an hour before the trip departed. Our skipper was fantastic. Croc was amazing. Thank you
- vj_cole00Interesting and fun, just long enough to spot crocs and quick enough to incorporate into a day trip.We really enjoyed our croc experience. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable, and knew where to look. Went with 2 kids 10 and 12 and they loved it!
- michaelweidemier00What an experience!Griffith was our tour guide/captain and he was exceptional! We were in a brand new boat, saw the large local male croc Scarface a few smaller ladies and a tiny little croc sunning themselves, the ride was super smooth and informative with incredible knowledge shared about the mangroves and local wildlife as well as the rainforest itself and what makes it so special. We would have been happy with just the river cruise as it was such a pleasant ride but seeing the snakes, crocodiles and birds made it so much more of a special experience, 10/10 would and I will be booking again.
- syks8300Daintree river cruise tourAwesome tour. Griffith took his time and made sure we saw the crocs and was full of knowledge. The boats felt super safe as well which made it easy with both young children and teenagers.
- Passenger6375574700900So much funWe were not expecting to see crocs this close, but we did (from a safe distance obviously). We saw a big big big boy named Scarface eat and bite at what was left of a piggy. Incredible.

Family of five that is not into seeing animals in captivity but in their natural habitat and we were not disappointed!! Bruce Belcher himself took our tour and he was a fountain of knowledge, engaging for adults and kids and great fun guide... We saw a couple of Mother Crocs and their nests and spotted several babies... probably the best value for money on our 13 day trip... authentic, entertaining and the ice cold free slushies' on arrival certainly didn't go astray!

Bruce is a legend. This part of the Daintree River he took us on was absolutely stunning, highly recommend doing the 4pm last cruise of the day as the setting sun across the water + mangroves, and the bird life was incredible. We spotted a baby croc + a 2.5m croc feeding… for us this tour wasn’t all about seeing crocs, it was the wilderness + being in the river… if you want definite croc sightings go to a zoo! This tour is all about being in nature - appreciating our natural world. Thank you Bruce + team, you were all amazing x

Best river tour I've ever been on, saw heaps of crocs, a great- billed heron, a couple of paradise kingfishers and a yellow billed egret.
Our tour guide was great, he knew heaps about the flora and fauna in and around the Daintree and it's history. He made the trip really enjoyable for both adults and kids.
The price was fantastic, we booked a 9 person private tour which worked out a less than $25 each.
If you're looking for a really great adventure for both adults and kids, make sure you book a Bruce Belcher's Crocodile River Cruise.

Bruce's tour was recommended to us so we sought out the location on the way back from a day out From Port Douglas to Cape Tribulation,it's easy enough to find but don't panic if the barrier leading to the Car Park is down, there is a number to call and signage to inform of the next cruise.
Bruce met us at the small shop/cafe and took payment whilst having a good general wind up with everyone, there is places to keep in the shade and drinks are available whilst waiting for the tour to commence.
The boats are small and you are fairly close to the surface of the water, there are Binoculars provided and a great humorous commentary by Bruce as you make your way along the river,we did manage to see one Croc sleeping and another large one moving around which i think made everyone happy to have least seen one.
Bruce talks passionately about the river and all that surrounds it and tells many interesting stories regarding the area and its history.
A fascinating and very worthwhile hours cruise, top marks Bruce, excellent.

Our guide Ray knew where all the adult crocodiles would likely be on the stretch of the river where their boat goes. He didn't disappoint, we saw a massive 60 something male and a few other females with their hatchlings swimming around them.
We travelled as a family with 2 teenagers and a 3 year old. We were all amazed and enjoyed this experience.

We went with 4 generations ranging from 83 to 14months and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Saw some crocs in the wild and even a couple of babies.
Griffith was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide and we felt it was really good value for money.
Sausage roll and drink afterwards made it even better.

Guided by Ray (and Skipper Duke, the dog) we were able to spot heaps of crocodiles, - massive 5m big boy all the way to a 15cm baby! - some frogs and even a green tree snake. Ray was as hilarious as he was informative; telling us all about the local crocs, mangroves and the river with a colourful commentary that had us all laughing. The boat is also licensed and the shop in which reception is location sells beers and wines (and pies). Our tour also came with a free slushie, tea, or coffee - we went for slushies and they were delicious!
Thanks so much Ray and the whole Bruce Belcher's team for making our trip to the Daintree so special!

Ray was a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide. He was very welcoming and funny with his comments. He knew exactly where the crocs would be, could answer all the questions and spotted snakes from up far in trees. Very good value for money. A free sausage roll with a drink at the end of the tour was very nice and keeps you going on your trip upwards.
