- lucymH6805JZ0 contributionsThe best tour in cairns!Conrad was the best tour guide! catered to all needs and made sure we all had a fun filled day while going at our own pace. Lots of opportunities for people of all abilities to enjoy some water and beautiful views, a true piece of heaven at the waterfalls 😍 plenty of fun stuff for the thrill seakers by no pressure at all to push yourself too far out of your comfort zone. Food was provided as well as games, songs, puzzles and pens on the bus to decorate the windows. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone travelling around cairns, they really look after you and are all so chill and nice xxWritten 13 November 2024
- lauragX5188AK0 contributionsWorth every cent, thank you Brian! My boyfriend and I had the best time on this trip! Our tour guide Brian was both kind and hilarious, and did everything to make sure everyone was having fun. There were loads of stops both days and lots of opportunities to swim and jump around in lakes/creeks/waterfalls, the accomodation at Wallaby Eco Lodge was lovely, and we had about 50000 snacks given to us throughout the trip! We learnt a lot about the rainforest and the surrounding areas of Cairns, would 100% recommend worth every cent.Written 13 November 2024
- beatricek5940 contributionsFantastic experienceThe Uncle Brian tour really lived up to the hype. My partner and I had a wonderful time, the tour was filled with lots of stunning spots, lovely meals/snacks across both days and a fantastic tour guide, Brian. We thought it was great value for money and would recommend anyone visiting Cairns, especially the 2 day best of both worlds tour. Special shout-out to Brian who made our trip, with his enthusiasm, knowledge and supply of chocolate.Written 13 November 2024
- Z4135EMtf0 contributionsBrian the tour guide made the trip go from good to greatThe trip itself packed so much into our 2 day adventure to the rainforest, cape tribulation and the waterfalls. Our tour guide Brian made the trip 10x better. So much energy, bringing stories and jokes all the way round. The trip would have been good as it was, but Brian brought it from good to amazing. Would recommend 1000%Written 12 November 2024

- marykN6774GB0 contributionsOur favourite tour we’ve ever been on!We did the Best of Both worlds overnight trip and absolutely loved our time with Brian as our brilliant tour guide. From the fantastic playlist and fun bus games to Brian’s good humour and great knowledge of the areas we were visiting, I felt that this group tour had an extremely good energy and none of us wanted the fun to end. We especially loved the waterfall visits, the magic of the night canoe, and being lucky enough to see crocs, turtles, and a platypus in their natural habitats. I’d highly recommend this tour to travellers who want to have a bit of fun and get to meet people from all over the world while experience Cairns’ beautiful surroundings, and definitely ask for Brian as your guide to guarantee a great time!Written 6 November 2024

By far the best tour I have ever been on. ADAM was genuinely the funniest human being that’s ever graced this earth and keep the day so entertaining and fun. He was also a world of information and I have learnt more about Australia, it’s history and other fun facts more in one day from him then my entire schooling in Australia! It was also filled with the most beautiful scenic locations and adventures and as someone who has done a lot of tours I could not recommend this one any higher for its money value, locations and tour guides. Thank you so much Adam, you legend!

I’m usually not the biggest fan of organised group day trips but everyone had recommended Uncle Brian’s so I decided to give it a go. It definitely surpassed my expectations! It was a fun day of adventure in the rainforest with chill vibe. We got to see lots of cool stuff (raiforest, daintree river, cape teibulation, local ice cream company, and sunset in Port Douglas) but it didn’t feel rushed at any time. Our tour guide “cousin Brad” was an absolute legend and made sure we had a good experience and explained about the raiforest, animals and everything we needed to know. Highlight was clearly seeing crocs in the river! Lunch included in the tour was actually delicious!

Adam was the tourist guide and I found him very talkative and dominant from the beginning of day until the end of day. The music was loud and disturbing inside the bus; it would have been better if he asked for our consent first.
Secondly the information given about the forest and the region is clearly incorrect, very selective and biased. He needs to balance it with Biblical truth and historic evidence, let the visitors to form their own conclusions.
Other than that, he demonstrated strong customer service skills, good photography skills, and driving skills, keeping us safe on the road.
The creek for a swim was wisely chosen and very impressive!.
He gave out freebies to visitors on the bus such as apples and biscuits. The lunch was well prepared with some tropical fruit to try.
He came and picked us up and took us all home one by one.
The price was reasonable.
I had a good time in the water and Adam helped us out one by one.
I thought it was a bit rush when we got to the 4 miles beach. and I did not have a chance to walk on it and had a good look.

I had a great time with Ally as our tour guide, she was very knowledgeable and answered any questions about the places we visited or the animals we saw. I travelled alone and Ally made me feel part of the group by keeping things fun and inclusive.
Highlight of the day was seeing a wild cassowary in the rainforest as well as swimming in the private creek/river.
Thoroughly recommend for anyone considering, best tour I did in Cairns.

Excellent day, absolutely great value for money ..
kirt was the tour guide and he is amazing at what he does and keeps the fun coming all throughout the day, very informative and entertaining and couldn’t do enough to make the tour as enjoyable as possible .
I can’t believe how cheap it was considering the distance we traveled and all the stops at all the amazing places along the way..the food was delicious too and the swimming was fun and then just when I thought we had done it all we hopped on a boat for an hour and went up the Daintree river with a different guide who also was super friend and informative to see the crocs, we were offered beers and wine and snacks while on the river and it was so much fun.
Overall, I really enjoy the day and I’m so glad I went with this company and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing day in the Daintree rainforest!!!!

Had an amazing experience on this full day tour with Cuzzy Elie as our tour guide. He was so funny, knowledgeable, and the best photographer! Always making everyone laugh and making sure everyone was having a great time. Visited Cape tribulation, the Daintree rainforest, stoped for some local fresh ice cream, and watched the most beautiful sunset at Port Douglas. Would definetly recommend this tour if you are in Cairns. Thank you Cuzzy Elie for a great day!

Such an incredible day.
Our tour guide was Cousin Kurt, who went to his best efforts to make everyone laugh despite the early start. He clearly has a very good relationship with all the locals which was obvious by the special treatment we received by being part of the Uncle Brian’s family. Cousin Kurt kept us well informed all along the way with what we were seeing and was very knowledgable.
The value for money on this tour was insane with so much included for the price. The included lunch was quality, unusual on guided tours, the private swimming hole within the Daintree was a very special touch as it was solely for Uncle Brian’s, and the crocodile boat trip was so good that the guide went to extra measures to ensure we saw some crocs.
Would 100% recommend this tour, so much so that I’ve created a trip adviser account solely to review Uncle Brian’s. If I could give 6 stars I would!

My friend and I had an awesome time on this trip - it had been highly recommended and didn't disappoint. We packed in a lot during the day and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Cuz Ali was a fantastic tour guide - super friendly, bubbly, so knowledgable about the flora and fauna and different places along the way. Loved the games she introduced on the tourbus to help us all bond with one another and I absolutely loved the tunes (Spice Girls, especially!). Had a smile on my face all day. The lunch was great, proper sit down, good food. I wish we had had a little more time to stroll along the beach at Cape Tribulation but at the same time I was eager to see what else the day had in store. Loved the rainforest walk and the croc spotting cruise (managed to see one adult and one baby croc on the banks). The creek where we went swimming and swung from the tree on the rope swing was so fun (I did it twice). We had a good amount of time there and it was great to be able to cool down for a while. The morning tea break at Port Douglas was good but somehow it didn't register for me that the beach we were alongside was the beach from all the famous pictures I had seen in the guidebooks of Port Douglas (I thought for some reason that this might come later in the day). I wish I had known as I would have done the walk to the viewpoint seeing as we had time. Perhaps Ali did mention something about this and I didn't hear, I'm not sure. Ali took loads of pictures of us, especially at the creek, but I'm still disappointed that our tour seems to be the only tour whose pictures didn't get into an album on the Facebook page! I was so looking forward to seeing the pics of us on the rope swing. Our tour was 07/02/20 - if the pictures are still available and haven't been wiped, I would be so happy if these could make their way onto Facebook! I would one hundred percent recommend this tour to other people and next time I'm in Cairns I would love to do the waterfall tour!

Would highly recommend this tour if you have any interest in Australia’s rainforests and wildlife. Our tour guide Ally was amazing, she knew so much about the rainforests and insects and her friendly and energetic personality made the tour even better. The views and scenery are unreal, overall awesome experience.

We did the cape trib tour on 29th June & what a fantastic day we had. We were so lucky to have Brian as our guide for the day, & honestly what a guy! He made the day so much fun & hearing all of his stories was just class. Swimming in the creek, backflip competitions off the rope swing, & then crocodile spotting (we were so lucky to see 4 big crocs & 2 babies). Lunch was really good too. The tour is really sociable & inevitably we ended up out for drinks after & then out for the night - so definitely recommend if you’re looking to meet people & have a laugh. Couldn’t recommend the trip enough. Brian, thanks for a fab day & we hope you make the podcast! Don’t hesitate just book it!
