About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- BrisbaneAlison0 contributionsExciting and beautiful - a terrific tripI can see why this is Australia’s most awarded adventure tour – it’s another world! Very well organised, enthusiastic team, just mind-blowing scenery, exciting experiences on the seaplane and the boat, good food, and such am amazing pristine place. They make the most of every minute of the tour. Highly recommend.Written 20 October 2024
- rosyf6230 contributionsFun and informative.Excellent tour. Wonderful guides. Highly recommend this journey out to the Paspalay Pearling operation in Roebuck Bay off Broome.Written 17 October 2024
- sarah01360 contributionsAbsolutely first classEverything about our trip to the Kimberly was absolutely outstanding. Really comfortable bus trip, Brenton made it interesting and kept us well informed, the cygnet bay pearl farm was super interesting (Jordan was great) and the breakfast and proper coffee were great, then the trip to the hatchery to see some sea life up close was great - and our guide there (Tsira) told fantastic stories and the turtle and fish were so pretty. Then the flight up to the horizontal floor was breathtaking, Yindy was great, the pontoon is all class - everything is immaculately kept - we had two trips out to the falls and drive through the falls several times which was a tiny bit scary but actually just really fun. Tom made us feel very safe with his expert driving and Nicole was a real source of information. We got to see and get up close to the tawny shark and several bat fish. The fresh caught Barra lunch was so tasty then the flight back, even though a storm was on its way, was perfectly navigated by Yindy. This is a must do trip - worth every cent. Thankyou very much for a fantastic day.Written 7 October 2024
- PerkyChar0 contributionsWell worth the moneyFantastic experience. Totally worth the money. The falls are incredible and we were the only boat there. Truly beautiful seeing it from the sky. The breakfast we had was really nice too.Written 4 October 2024
- Philip E0 contributionsHorizontal Falls Tour disappointmentThe much anticipated tour of the Horizontal Falls was cancelled due to poor weather. (It was the major reason we went to Broome/Cable Beach - so it was an expensive trip with little to show for it). I received a text message from the company the morning of the flight saying our flight was cancelled. It said a representative would call me but they never did. In the end I called the company. They didn’t offer an alternative day as they were booked out for a week. They had other tours eg. Pearl Farm, but they weren’t offered either. The rep on the phone didn’t seem too worried about the flight being cancelled- “just one of those things”. To their credit they did return the cost of our fares promptly. Broome is a remote location particularly from the east coast so booking tours that can affected by weather come with some associated risk.Written 2 October 2024
- Peter R0 contributionsExcellent customer serviceUnfortunately the Horizontal Falls part of the tour got cancelled due to storm caused power outage. Got a full refund and as a consolation a slightly longer scenic flight back to Broome. Transportation, driver and pearl tour were excellent. Can only compliment the tour operator on their excellent customer service.Written 26 September 2024
- 529vivienn0 contributionsA fabulous, unique experience worth doing. What a great way to see the amazing sights and phenomena of the Horizontal Falls and surrounds. From start to end the staff were friendly, eager to assist and made this trip memorable. The seaplane was an experience in itself and provided fabulous aerial views of the contrasting colours of the turquoise sea bordered by stretches of golden sand and also the red earth and expanses of land. Landing on the water was effortless and I didn’t suffer from any motion sickness. Once on the pontoon, we watched the shark feeding and learned about them and the healthy marine life in this area.Although I went into the pool to watch from there, it was just as good when I got out to see it. The barramundi lunch was delicious with lots of accompaniments. We then went on the speedboat which was fantastic and Callum drove us to amazing areas explaining historical, geographical and indigenous information. We then sped to the Horizontal Falls and raced through the water enjoying the beauty and expertly driven boat. Exhilarating. During the whole experience we felt well looked after and catered for, including attention to our safety. A great experience.Written 18 September 2024
- williambQ4094GS0 contributionsExceeded our expectationsSpectacular trip. Great guides, very knowledgeable and respectful of the culture. We did the all day tour and really enjoyed the pearl farm and Aquaculture segments. Trip was above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend this trip. Lunch at the falls was excellentWritten 7 September 2024
- 575becc0 contributionsA long day, but an incredible, unique experience. We booked the full day tour as it was a last minute decision and that's all that was available, at only about $100 more than the half day, it's better value for money, but also a very long day. Absolutely worth it for the trip to horizontal falls and the views over the area and Buccaneer Archipelago. The Pearl Farm tour was interesting, but we could have done without it. If we had our time again, we would take the overnight option. The idea of a night on the pontoon in such a picture perfect and remote location would have been the icing on the cake. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this experience, just be ready for a long day (or choose the overnight stay or half day option). Everyone was incredibly friendly and the tour guides were full of knowledge. A brilliant, unique experience that was worth the money.Written 1 September 2024
- margyperth0 contributionsOvernight lux stay - well worth itThe overnight stay is highly recommended. We loved every minute of it except for the bus transfer between Broome and Derby (that wasn't much fun). The lux accommodation is on a separate houseboat away from the main pontoon, it's very well set up and the cabins are lovely. We had great food and excellent staff and luckily for us near perfect weather. The seaplane from Derby was great with nice views and good pilots. As we arrived at the pontoon we were immediately transferred to our jet boat "Full Throttle" for our first run thru the falls. Then arriving at our houseboat we were able to get settled and enjoy a nice lunch. Later there was another jet boat outing with a few more runs thru the falls and a chance to do some fishing on another boat, then over to the main pontoon to see the tawny nurse sharks. Sunset drinks (BYO) and a lovely dinner and socialising on the front of the boat or in the lounge area, a nice relaxing setting. The next morning we were up early for a boat tour of the tranquil waters, searching for crocs but none to be found. We did see some rock wallabies tho. Then another few runs thru the falls and a nice breakfast before we packed up and were loaded back on to the seaplane to return to Derby with a few loops over the falls as we left. It's a full-on 24 hours and well worth the money we paid.Written 30 August 2024
- Adventure122580758410 contributionsBucket List Experience was beyond my expectations!!Just WOW!! This was on my Bucket List and it so didn’t disappoint! In fact it’s the best tour I’ve ever done! We were picked up on time and taken to the Seaplane! Our pilot Ben was very skilled and took us down to see some Humpback Whales!! The scenery to the Falls was incredible!! The water landing was a highlight as well!! The crew on board the pontoon were friendly and very informative. Our skipper Callum was very skilled and took us through the Falls several times in the Jet-boat!! What an experience!! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Kimberley’s history of the land, sea and people. We then had the best lunch of grilled Barramundi and salads I’ve ever had!! Then we had a Shark Feeding show and you could swim in a cage next to them! Then Callum took us in the speed boat to an amazing trip of the inlets with so much passion and knowledge it blew me away!! Best trip ever!! Highly recommend it!!Written 26 August 2024
- JadeSMartens0 contributionsIncredible. Spend the money and book this!Incredible. Truly the best tour I have ever been on. Expensive- but worth every penny. We were picked up from our hotel at 5am, transported to the airport where we flew direct to Talbot bay in the seaplane. It was a beautiful one hour flight, we felt very safe. After landing we had the most incredible jet boat experience through the falls. The cooked breakfast was delicious! We then had the chance to swim with the sharks in there shark cage. This was great. Then we had a peaceful creek tour in the speedboat and then the amazing scenic flight home. I cannot describe how amazing the day was. Everything especially the staff were 10/10. A must doWritten 25 August 2024
- travelalot2020 contributionsBest experienceStayed overnight was brilliant. Elliot, skipper and all the crew were very respectful of the land, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our French chef cooked amazing meals, staff were extremely accommodating. Fantastic experience overall which will be hard to beat.Written 21 August 2024
- Andrea L0 contributionsContingency option? It's hard to rate as our tour was cancelled due to fog and the plane being grounded. While safety is obviously paramount, it would be good to have a contingency of some sort for those of us who could not be rebooked to another day. Such as the senic flight part? This was a birthday present/ bucket list experience. While we will get a refund , left a little sad that I may never get another chance to see the Kimberley. If your looking to book, perhaps get the afternoon time slotWritten 21 August 2024
- J8197VDrobh0 contributionsFabulous day by air and sea.Early morning start meant a great view of sunrise after take off. Isaac was an excellent pilot and made sure we flew over several pods of humpbacks. The staff onsite were very professional and provided a safe and interesting experience. We had a fabulous morning.Written 13 August 2024

My husband and I went on this tour yesterday. And am sorry to say we were very disappointed. As we had expectations of an adventure thrill ride on the falls. And it was not like all the brochures and word of mouth we had thought. ( The couple next to us in the boat fell asleep) Then to top it off we returned to our accommodation a sign was just put up with a 10% off . Which equates to $160.00 off. Per couple Total waste of money

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are disappointed to learn that your experience did not meet expectations. We have spent a lot of time and focus on ensuring that guests are exhilarated by the sheer force of the water and speed of the boat when riding through the falls and as such, we take your comments on board.
Once again, thank you for your feedback.

A truly awesome experience in pristine wilderness. Every staff member was smiling and ready to assist. The planes, the pontoon facilities, the boats were all crewed by very competent people who just wanted to have a much fun as we did but were also very, very safety concious. The lunch was superb, the views while eating it beyond beautiful. Can't recommend this company and their operation to much. Six star rating out of five.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff with impressive planes and boats providing a memorable experience. Pick the tides and book accordingly to allow for the most action at the ‘falls’ if that’s what you’re after, otherwise, it varies with nature. Plane fight is worth it on its own

Well organised from the word go expensive but well worth it. The only blip on the radar was that I had to drive from Broome to Derby to make the trip.
This is truly a bucket list experience whatever your age or fitness level.

This was an Awesome trip from the Moment we did our briefing we were in the hands of professionals the sea plane pilot was great and had excellent flying skills she pointed out points of interest and flew in tight and confidently to the landing zone where we disembarked to the home pontoon to board our high speed boat Skippered by Daisy ably assisted by her offsider Sky… Daisy not only knew how to drive a high speed boat to the max but was equally at home with her exceptional knowledge of Planet Earths Tectonic History dating back 2 1/2 Billion years to the Kimberley’s now! Cool off in the pool with the sharks and it’s off to the high speed boats again to experience the change of tides through the falls and another exceptional presentation by Master Skipper and Professor Daisy!
Lunch! I haven’t had Barra as good ever! Only draw back they switched out our pilot Bugga! Don’t miss it the flights are stunning the high speed boat rides have to be experienced! And if your lucky enough to get Sky and Skipper Professor Daisy your in for an unforgettable experience!

You pointed that the trip payment will not be refunded but what about the weather conditions? It could be storm, rain, strong wind, fog, etc. Will it be refunded in that case?
