      A must to visit.
A must place to visit. The food was fantastic, we had the shared platter, and the quality of the food was great as to was the wine. The location was lovely and the views stunning with the history of the Winery and the work that went into creating a simply great place. A special mention to the staff as they are very helpful and know so much about the Pindarie Winery. It was my wife's Birthday and our first visit but definitely not our last. Thanks again for a great lunch.

      Gorgeous location & wines
We visited after a referral - Pindarie has a beautiful cellar door in old stables and the surrounding views are gorgeous just like the wines. We were fortunate enough to be hosted by the manager Stuart himself who was brilliant. Pindarie have some different varieties in their range like Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Montepulciano. Highly recommended.

Nice lunch, cool tasting, okay wines
Came here for lunch as a recommendation, encouraged to taste first. Nice tasting space in a barn. Interesting wines, not my personal top choice of wine in Barossa but not bad. You have to spend a fair bit to waive the tasting fee. Lunch outside under the huge tree with gorgeous views. Food was super slow coming out, limited menu of 4-5 main plate options. We got lamb pies and chicken pies and both were delicious. Pleasant place to stop for a bite and a drink.

A wonderful small winery. A sampling of nine lovely wines enjoyed by our entire group of four. Enjoyed a long, leisurely lunch of savory pies and hotpot’s in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend to anyone touring the Barossa. Visiting from Canada.

Al fresco lunch with family and friends
Visited for lunch today. 7 adults and a 2 year old child. We ordered a few grazing boards and several bottles of wine. Wow, so good. Great playing area for children including hay bales and a cubby house. Gorgeous food and wine.

      Points are high at Pindarie
Pros: - phenomenal setting, building and facilities - grounds are stunning and provide ample room for children, dogs, photo opportunities and exploring! - wine tasting as a last minute decision before lunch, a big thank you to your staff for helping our group with that!!! - Pies! YUM! Felt like a homemade lunch with family on a beautiful farm! Just outstanding country cuisine! Cons: - a little more interaction about the wines and soils (as seen on the walls) and help purchasing after a tasting may have resulted in a greater amount of wine being bought - heaters on outside all the time in June/July would probably be best - our group seemed to order first but pies took almost ‘restaurant’ timing to be delivered- luckily came out in time but don’t come thinking it’ll be a quick visit Would highly recommend this place as a starter for your winery day or a lunch pop in. Great service, wines are all delish (but mildly forgettable) - you’re really coming for the lunch! Would like to try their higher tasting next time! So would certainly recommend or visit again for something different.

Great place but wish there was more than one veggo option!
We absolutely love the buildings, views and wine at Pindarie but it's a shame that there is only ever one vegetarian option on the menu. We just arrived for lunch hoping to have the vegetarian pie but it's now not on the menu and there is only a lentil stew. Such a shame that us veggos don't have a couple of options for lunch.

The highlight of our Barossa day tour!
Pindarie was definitely the highlight of our day out in the Barossa! Tyler explained the history of the winery and the tasting room, one could imagine the Shire horses stabled there in bygone years. The wine tasting or course was well conducted, and many in our group marked their cards for purchase of their favourite varieties! We did not have time for lunch, but the tea and snacks were much appreciated, as was the opportunity to explore around the property. Definitely recommended!

A clear highlight in the Barossa
We came to Pindarie as a stop on our organised wine tour of the Barossa, and I have to say it was the clear highlight of the day! The delicious wine served at the tasting was only the beginning. Listening to Wendy talk about the history of the winery, and her own experiences in the industry really elevated the day- even short-staffed (as she was that morning) she took the time to make everyone in our large group feel welcome. We also had lunch on the verandah overlooking the valley- it really was a picture of bucolic splendour, the cliched outlook that everyone loves and arrives for, watching sheep graze amongst the vines. Certainly stop in if you're in the area, and we're going to be ordering from here once we drink the few bottles we brought back!

Lovely location, great views and good food
Stopped by for lunch during our day trip to the Barossa. Booked in advance and table ready on our arrival. Opted for an inside table but in retrospect an outside table (all in shade) would have been preferable given the amazing views. We went (as we usually do) for a local share platter and it did not disappoint. Great selection of cheeses and meats. Olive oil and dukka, olives et al. Plenty of warm bread and crackers. The only addition I would suggest is a small amount of butter to go with the bread. Nice selection of wines and soft drinks, friendly staff and reasonable price. Plenty of outdoor space (including stacked bales of hay!) for young and old to enjoy and expansive views.

      Enjoyable and informative tasting experience
Tasting experience of Icons of the Western Ridge was an amazing 55 minute journey through the range of wines on offer at Pindarie. Owner Wendy was a delight to chat to through the experience and gave so many insights into the environmental factors affecting each years vintage for better or worse.

1st stop on Barossa Tour - set the standard
Experience - Tasting Only We stopped here on a Barossa Wine Tour and was very grateful this was one of the stops. The history of this location entwined with the making and origin of their wines was great to hear. It made the tasting even more memorable. We were with a decent sized group but was still quite personable in the approach. The grounds were reminiscent of the time it has evolved. The wine was great as well and therefore we felt comfortable in our purchase to be delivered back an interstate address.

      Well worth the visit
Great little place for a wine tasting. Friendly and knowledgeable staff in a very pretty environment. Tasting fees are quite reasonable too. One to put on your to do list for the Barossa.

It was so good...we went back again the next day!!
Everything was "the best part". Scenery, ambience, service, wine, the pie!! We were fortunate enough to be the only people there, at the end of a day driving around to different wineries. Wouldn't have known it was there if not for a recommendation from our host at Enerby Farm Cottage (thanks for the tip Tom). We went back again the next day to have another pie, but unfortunately, the kitchen had already closed. Never mind, we tasted some wine and bought a bottle to take back to our accomodation. This place was definitely one of our favourites!!

Had a wonderful lunch on the veranda following the Barossa Marathon. There were 10 of us. 8 Adults and 2 children 5 and under. Wonderful place for kids to play and the adults to relax.

I would recommend that if you have kids ask to be seated on the veranda. The views are fantastic.

Food was great and wines at a very reasonable price.

    Will definitely be back again.

Must visit venue when in the Barosa, sitting under an old pepper tree enjoying my salt bush lamb pie washed down with one of their great reds with a view of sweeping vineyards over the Valley, life's tough.
