- fattp20230 contributionsA must visit for everybody visiting the BarossaRecently my family and I visited Australia and while in Adelaide, a friend told us about Barossa valley the best vine growing region of Australia. Perhaps the most outstanding spot in Barossa is 1837 Barossa which has a statue of Colonel William Light who discovered this beautiful valley. Standing in front of this statue, one can see the rolling hills and the vineyards of the valley. 1837 Barossa has a wine tasting pavilion and a restaurant next to it. The staff of the wine tasting pavilion is very friendly and we learnt a great deal the wines produced here. Among the wines tasted, I enjoyed the Black Label President Reserve the most. We took many good photos in 1837 Barossa Art Trail which is located in the estate. 1837 Barossa is a must for everybody visiting Barossa.Written 22 January 2023

Shane is amazing. He is such a good host. One of the nicest people I've met. We had a good time going through the whole wine making process while tasting delicious wine. Ended it with the freshest tastiest pizzas.
The view from the estate is so spectacular.
