We had a lovely trip on the LARC and sitting on the beach eating lunch was a highlight of our Queensland trip. The cruise was accompanied with an excellent commentary and sharp eyed wildlife spotting.

What a fantastic tour! Incredible fun, sensational commentary from the driver; funny, interesting and entertaining. We learnt so much and got to see some really cool marine wildlife. Highly recommend!

The Larc tours are a little gem at 1770 and are so worth doing. The tours are very affordable and fun, thanks to our tour guide Neil who was very informative and fun. It suits everyone of all ages. I would definitely recommend this tour and a big thanks to Neil who is very passionate about what he does

Really enjoyed this trip, other than having a ride on the larc, the tour guide provided interesting facts about the wildlife, the area, Captain Cook and the national Parks. Lunch was great, we even got to walk on the beach ⛱️. 👍

It was such an amazing experience, Isabella was so knowledgeable and the views were spectacular. It was so smooth, I usually get sea sick and this was totally relaxed and I had no problems. My phone was on constant pivot because this is one of the best ways to check out the local area, get out on the water and I highly recommend giving it a go!

The views were amazing! The LARC tour was fantastic and our guide was a town local and was very knowledgable on all things in and out of the water in the area! We learnt so much on our tour and even got to see a lot of different marine life - shark, rays, fish and jelly’s

Very disappointed, I remember watching this larc going up and down the dunes and it looking so much fun. This Saturday 2nd Nov 24 was boring, it went super slow up one dune and down super slow the second, the driver just chatted about birds the whole time. We were lucky to see a couple of little sharks but there was just no excitement like i seen and heard from other friends who went on the afternoon cruise. We only did the 1 hour so i was expecting a bit of dune fun and splashing, but nothing. I am going back to 1770 in January but won't be recommending the larc or going on it myself. Sorry. Its ok for anyone who likes listening to bird chat and doesn't want any excitement or enjoyment on what is advertised as fun.

Incredible information about area and animals! Love the nature connection! Very entertaining as your guide had superb sense of humour and made the tour loads of fun!

Very informative tour onboard the amphibious vessel. We did the 4.30 tour and although a bit overcast and very windy, it wasn’t unpleasant. I would take a jacket just in case. Great for all ages to participate in.

Had a wonderful afternoon cruising the waters and sand. Isabella was a wonderful tour guide and we both found her very informative and friendly. Would tell our friends when in 1770 to do one of the LARC cruises.

We took a 1 hour tour in the LARC, it ended up being 1.5 hrs! Neil, the owner, was a fantastic host, he was full of information about everything we saw and the local history. The LARC is an amazing vehicle, and went from land to beach to estuary to ocean with ease and safety. Thanks Neil, a great tour for only $38 (seniors discount)

We both though it’s was an amazing only did the one hour cruise next time we are up here for a holiday will definitely be doing the day cruise
