About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- T6702KFlisap0 contributionsGreat tour. Tour guide was the highlight!!Tour guide was great. She was full of information and was very friendly. Loved the sights that we visited. Not too much walking. We came of a cruise ship - and there was plenty of time to do the tour and still have time to explore Eden on our own. Highly recommendWritten 5 February 2025
- F922RPbarryc0 contributionsRelaxed beautiful and funJess and David were great. We saw sea eagles and watched soldier crabs. The river was beautiful and weather was spectacularWritten 3 February 2025
- Heike K0 contributionsGreat tourGreat kayak tour on the Bermagui river - stunning mangroves and eucalyptus forests. We saw several sea eagles. Knowledgeable guide.Written 29 January 2025
- 790nadjal0 contributionsWe loved it!The tour was amazing, we saw a lot of birds and a little sting ray. We were a very small group, this was lovley, we had nice conversations. Mornig tea and brownies were served at half of the way on a small sandy beach. There we had the chance for a little swim, but we didn't do that, because it was a little bit windy/rainy this day. We would do the tour again if we are coming back maybe one day! After the tour we ate some oysters, because the were sold at the beach we started and ended our tour, they tasted great!!Written 25 January 2025
- 947edwinn0 contributionsGuides are very knowledgeable, River is beautifulThe event was awesome. The operators were very helpful from the moment they picked us up at the cruise ship terminal, throughout the kayaking experience, and the return to the ship. The kayaks were in excellent condition and ideal for the river. The guides were very knowledgeable and constantly checked on our progress to ensure nobody was left behind. The photos is their web site reflect the true views - everything looked as (or better) than the photos.Written 14 January 2025
- Yael_Landau0 contributionsBest spent two hours in EdenMel took us for a stroll in her Terrain, showed us the small town, the beaches and the Australian bush. She had a vast knowledge about the flora and fauna of the area and spiced it up with some funny stories of the locals. We had a lovely time!Written 14 January 2025
- Sunshine057272728030 contributionsGreat trip around EdenTroy was amazing as a tour guide. What a nice guy. So patient with everyone. The tour time ran a little long and he was not concerned (and neither were we). Best tour of our trip so far. We loved his 'detour' to see the kangaroos. :) Amazing scenery. Nice walk thru the national park. Troy was very knowledgeable about the trees, plants and wildlife. Loved hearing about his life around Eden. Loved that the narrative was so informal. Would recommend this tour to everyone. Only negative was that the van has seen better days.Written 14 January 2025
- lukepJ16OG0 contributionsEnjoyable kayaking on the Pambula River for a hit of nature and a bit of fun exercise!Great way to explore the Pambula River kayaking with about 12 others, and enjoyed the experience of nature you get paddling along quietly. Swim at the halfway point was refreshing, such clear water that day. Our guides that day were good with some helpful tips to improve people's kayaking technique.Written 30 December 2024
- Rockwarbler0 contributionsThe best tour of our cruise: fabulous day in spectacular EdenHIGHLY recommend this tour! We went with Steve and had an amazing day! He was warm and friendly, and an excellent guide. It was a small group with just our family in the tour (three generations: a 77 year old, 50 year old and 21 year old) that came in on a cruise ship. We had plenty of time to shop at the markets at the Visitors Centre before we left, and then again before we got back on the ship. The pace of the tour was great for our group, with limited stairs. We saw amazing scenery and wildlife around Eden. We saw a mother whale and calf from Boyds Tower, and another 2 whales and calf at The Pinnacles. We could even hear them calling while they were breaching and splashing their tails in the water. Throughout the day we saw a sea eagle, wedge tailed eagle, red-necked wallabies, superb fairy wrens, rainbow lorrikeets, bull stingrays, pelicans, and more. And the landscape is stunning! The picnic lunch was also really delicious, and a gluten free option was available. The stop at Eden and this tour was the highlight of our cruise. It was simply a fabulous day!Written 18 November 2024

- samwil2120 contributionsFantastic Kayaking Experience! This was a fantasic trip down the pambula river! Saw some great wildlife, and had a good time kayaking! David was a great guide! Would recommend when you are in the area!Written 8 October 2024
- Teacosy870 contributionsA leisurely paddle in excellent company. We just finished a most delightful 3 hour tour with Guide David and it exceeded my expectations. the water was so clear and the natural environment made for such a peaceful paddle. David and the team had everything sorted from tasty, fresh fruit and yummy snacks (even a birthday cake for me). dietary requirements were so easily catered for and the equipment was clearly well cared for. I absolutely recommend Navigate Expeditions if you want to explore the local nature.Written 20 September 2024
- J785HMlisah0 contributionsA relaxing experience and I learned some things...I was lucky enough to do a Cultural Tour with guide Nathan Lygon before he takes a break. It was a lovely experience added to the beauty, birdlife and environment of the Pambula River itself. It was relaxing and I learned some very interesting things about First Nations' Culture in this area.Written 18 July 2024
- Luckybeckyblue0 contributionsLovely small group tour with stunning viewsWe had an awesome tour with Navigate Expeditions! It was a small group which we always prefer rather than being packed into a big bus with many others. Our guide was excellent, giving us commentary throughout the tour. The scenery was beautiful at every stop. We saw kangaroo and many pelicans. The highlight was the walk through Beowa National Park. I saw one review that complained about "steep mountainous terrain." Perhaps they were on some other tour because this was not the case at all on the 2 hour tour. The hike was manageable for almost any fitness level, although would not be good for people who need a mobility device. It was easy and we had stunning views. Our guide offered to drop us off right at the ship, or on the main street where there were several nice shops and cafes. We had some spare time before we had to return to the ship so we opted for drop off in town. It was an easy walk downhill back to the ship. It is a small, sleepy little town but this tour was a fantastic introduction to the area.Written 25 April 2024

We had a wonderful time. Briefing was adequate on how to operate the bike. Bikes were in good condition. A little difficult to maneuver given it was our first time.
