Review from our eight year old “It was really enjoyable and I really liked seeing all those whales.” And from our six year old “I liked the boat ride and watching the whales”. Thanks for a memorable trip. We especially liked how the skipper was respectful of being in the whales’ space and not trying to get too close, while making sure we got a great view. The skipper and Kate made us feel welcome and gave great information about the whales. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Views were great. Hosts were brilliant even got to see whales on the cruise. Lobster dip was great. Worth every cent!!!!

It was a lovely morning out on the sea with lots of whale and dolphin sightings. Staff were very friendly and kept us well informed as to where the whales were.

Amazing morning out whale watching with Kalbarri Rock Lobster Tours and charters. The crew were great and very knowledgeable and the captain clearly knew his buisness getting us out to see heaps of whales all the while always taking into account the whales well being. The kids and I had a ball and we can't recommend Kalbarri Rock Lobster Tours enough!

Amazing few hours! Saw loads of whales - breaching, fins, tails and even a jump! Weather was perfect and hosts very friendly, professional and knowledgeable!!

Great views, captain even gave us a look at the front and kids loved the captains seat. The home made prawn and salmon dip was a treat

Weather was beautiful and the coastal cliffs were fantastic to view. During the tour, a passenger saw a whale slapping its fins. The captain took off so we could get a closer look at the whale. It was so exciting and unexpected.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our outing and there were plenty of whales to keep us entertained. We also had a shark swim around the boat obviously looking for a free feed. The crew were well versed in what they had to do and the boat itself was very clean and well maintained. A great day on the water.

We did both the sunset cruise and the whale watching tour, both of which were excellent. On the sunset cruise we also saw quite a few whales and dolphins, and Vaughn went out of his way to take us closer to the activity (even though the sunset cruise does not focus on whale watching!). Plus the lobster dip is yum. On the whale watching tour we enjoyed seeing a number of whales and dolphins again. Even though they were more elusive that day, we were able to spot them and watch their activities. Vaughn was right when he told us that if you see a whale's tail go up, they are probably going to dive down and would be under for up to 45 minutes! We saw at least three different tails go up, whereupon the whales disappeared again. Huge respect for them and for Kate and Vaughn, who made both trips so enjoyable.

Went out on the whale watching tour and it was absolutely awesome! Not only were the staff on the boat really nice and very informative about the whales, they were also happy to answer any questions asked regarding the tour. We were up close and personal with the whales which is an opportunity not many people get to have. Was absolutely incredible. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

We met at the marina at 7am then headed out to sea to check the Lobster Pots, Vaughn was our skipper and Kate was the deckhand you don’t have to travel out to far, to collect the pots Vaughn has a wealth of knowledge that he shares as you a cruising along we pulled up 10-11 pots the catch is shared with everyone on the boat at the end. While out there you get a little taster of lobster boiled and bbq. The pots are then put back on the way in. We paid cash on the day or you can pay online. I would throughly recommend this 2 hr tour it was great value for money. We would do it again if staying in Kalbarri again in our travels.

If you’re coming to Kalbarri this something you can’t miss! The lads are amazing and very knowledgeable. Can’t wait to make the lobster dip when I get Home! Thanks again guys

Mark and Vaughn were knowledgeable but also delightfuly fun and entertaining. They interacted with everyone. The boat ride was amazing not only did we see the gorgeous sunset along the coastline but also whales and dolphins The brothers not only spotted but positioned boat and stopped the boat to allow us to watch the spectacular experience of watching whales (and dolphins) .... highly recommend them (and then the warm lobster dip 😋) Most amazing 2 hours!

An excellent experience. A great family business, run by local experts. Beautiful coastline with ample opportunities to see whales.
