Enjoy a 2 & half hour tour aboard Nebraska II around Gantheume Bay while encountering Humpback Whales and the abundance of marine life Kalbarri has to offer. These majestic giants migrate north to the warm waters for breading in June every year and are seen through August and September on their way back south to the colder seas to grow and mature. Each trip is a chance to see these magnificent creatures bask, play, and frolic, and you get the opportunity to get up close to these mental giants. We have 2 time slots 9.30am and 11.00am. All tours are weather permitting and numbers permitting.

      Great morning out!
From the start we were on time with a fantastic guide who educated us on the ins and outs of Rock Lobsters. The views of the rock cliffs amazing and dolphins around us as well. Food was good and took home a whole lobster to cook!

      Whale sighting was a bonus
Weather was beautiful and the coastal cliffs were fantastic to view. During the tour, a passenger saw a whale slapping its fins. The captain took off so we could get a closer look at the whale. It was so exciting and unexpected.

      Pot pulling at Kalbarri
Top vessel, great crew, very welcoming and knowledgeable, provided free whale and dolphin watching and cooking tips on how to prepare and cook our lobsters that we got to take home. We would recommend this tour to anyone.

      Early morning refreshing Lobster experience.
We were shown and explained the lobster its life cycle and the industry in the most candid and engaging manner by the skipper and his sister in law.Tasting three versions of fresh lobster was a delight. The boat is spotless and the early morning experience is refreshing. You may see one of the large sharks that follow the boat as close up as you might wish. The navigation back through the river mouth is a fine display of seamanship. A Must Do ..you will also get a live take home lobster to cook your way..

      An amazing adventure
This was an awesome experience. I was treated to hearing about and seeing how lobster fishing is carried out. Brothers Vaughn and Mark own and operate this tour and make it a lot of fun to watch and learn how they harvest lobsters. Being out on the water with the stunning coastline in the background was phenomenal. The icing on the cake was a great catch of lobsters to share and take home. I highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you once again Vaughn and Mark for an entertaining morning 👏👏

We came to Kalbarri for the 4th time so nice to do something different
It was a very informative tour but also light hearted very professional but explained well. The added benefit of seeing whales sharks and a seal was a bonus. Everyone was given a chance to ask questions at each stage of the tour. To have a chance to taste the lobster on the trip was another bonus and to bring one home each to eat made our friends green with envy 😍

Highly recommend Kalbarri Rock Lobster tours.
We did both the sunset cruise and the whale watching tour, both of which were excellent. On the sunset cruise we also saw quite a few whales and dolphins, and Vaughn went out of his way to take us closer to the activity (even though the sunset cruise does not focus on whale watching!). Plus the lobster dip is yum. On the whale watching tour we enjoyed seeing a number of whales and dolphins again. Even though they were more elusive that day, we were able to spot them and watch their activities. Vaughn was right when he told us that if you see a whale's tail go up, they are probably going to dive down and would be under for up to 45 minutes! We saw at least three different tails go up, whereupon the whales disappeared again. Huge respect for them and for Kate and Vaughn, who made both trips so enjoyable.

      Rock Lobster Pot Pull Tour
We met at the marina at 7am then headed out to sea to check the Lobster Pots, Vaughn was our skipper and Kate was the deckhand you don’t have to travel out to far, to collect the pots Vaughn has a wealth of knowledge that he shares as you a cruising along we pulled up 10-11 pots the catch is shared with everyone on the boat at the end. While out there you get a little taster of lobster boiled and bbq. The pots are then put back on the way in. We paid cash on the day or you can pay online. I would throughly recommend this 2 hr tour it was great value for money. We would do it again if staying in Kalbarri again in our travels.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our outing and there were plenty of whales to keep us entertained. We also had a shark swim around the boat obviously looking for a free feed. The crew were well versed in what they had to do and the boat itself was very clean and well maintained. A great day on the water.

Went out on the whale watching tour and it was absolutely awesome! Not only were the staff on the boat really nice and very informative about the whales, they were also happy to answer any questions asked regarding the tour. We were up close and personal with the whales which is an opportunity not many people get to have. Was absolutely incredible. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

It was really great, we were able to accompany and observe several animals in peace. There was plenty of time. The coastline from the sea is fantastic.
