- 597rosemaryg0 contributionsDon’t waste your money!!..total rip offRIPPED OFF!!! The $269 JOKE!! Once onshore we were met by a lovely girl..and onto the bus..it was a very hot day, and as this lovely girl was struggling trying to open the windows, she informed us that there was no air conditioning..we were offered water..paper cups were offered flwater then we were asked to hold onto our paper cup if we wanted water for the way home..lovely girl has trouble starting old Bess, but after a few goes we were on our way!!..the heat was terrible, our faces were melting off and we were drowned in sweat but be not dismayed!!..the worst was yet to come!! We walk down the boat ramp, passing the people who had just got off the tour..faces were downcast, not the faces of those awe inspired by this experience, except for a little boy who excitedly said he saw a big fish!! All can’t be lost said my optimistic self The task of getting on the boat! The tour guides..miss lovely and the young girl boat driver chatted away, offering no help to anyone while most people struggled to get on board..my sister seeing how people war struggling and facing risking high risk of being injured in a fall, decided to grab the white rope in hope of pulling the boat closer to the jetty..miss lovely continued chatting with the boat driver..no help was offered ..the jetty seemed to flood so now I am knee deep in water, my new sneakers and my dress soaking wet.. finally managing to get onboard, my sister cheering me on ‘you can do it!!’ My smile is fading as a group of 20 people were crammed into the little boat..we were shown the bleached coral and a few brown fish and we returned back to the jetty after the experience of a lifetime!!.,that’s what the brochure reads anyhow Our struggle to disembark didn’t seem to worry our guides though as they happily chatted to each other while we struggled to get off..my smile has completely gone now..we board the old bus for the 1 hour trip back. $269??..are you kidding me?Written 6 February 2025
- Longtravelled0 contributionsGreat trip!Me and my husband had a great trip with Asha and Caitlin. They were so informative and super friendly. I was uncertain if I would snorkel as I'm very wary of the sea. Caitlin and Asha were very supportive, no pressure but once I'd decided to go in I knew I was in safe hands. I would highly recommend this company and trip We even got to see a family of Emus along the way!Written 30 January 2025

Craig gave us great information about Exmouth and the surrounding areas. He was entertaining and informative. The boat was fully equiped for all of us to snorkel and experience ningaloo reef. Again his knowledge of coral and fish was great and it gave us a fully immersive experience. Highly recommend for families to see all of the fish and coral.Written 30 December 2024

- petemarshall19700 contributionsGreat afternoonWe appreciated the pickup from Exmouth and our guide gave us some interesting and fun insights into the area. We stopped at a shipwreck on the way which was interesting and we wouldn't have visited it otherwise. The guides made us feel welcome and as nervous swimmers incredibly safe. There was no pressure to snorkel. I'd recommend to all even nervous swimmers.Written 20 November 2024

- tonykE3761WQ0 contributionsGreat day on the Ningaloo reef !!We picked this tour based on the "glass bottom" feature and reviews that we had seen from others (all positive) The boat was perfect, with flat clear glass, good vision, and able to cruise right over the top of beautiful coral in shallow, as well as deeper water. Our tour started at 0800 when picked up on the complimentary bus from our accomodation, by our very friendly and knowledgable host Isla who took us to the Mildura wreck site on the way to the Tandabiddi boat ramp to catch the boat. Craig and Gabby met us at the boat ramp, skippered the boat and gave us a very entertaining and informative guided tour amongst the coral in the Ningaloo sanctuary area where we were able to see a large stingray, giant squid, turtles and a kaleidescope of beautuful fish amongst the amazing coral, before anchoring on a large sand bank for our snorkelling, where Isla was our very helpful guide in the water. All snorkelling gear is provided but you are welcome to take your own. The boat is perfect if you want to snorkel or not get your feet wet and simply enjoy the ride and appreciate the coral and abundance of marine life. This tour is also very good value for a half day tour (with about 1 hour actually snorkelling) and is very suitable for all age groups. On the return bus trip to exmouth, Isla took us to the Vlamihgh head light house, where we were also fortunate to see a humpback whale breach in the distance. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience !! Highly recommended !!!!!Written 28 October 2024

- H8039WBangier0 contributionsExceptional views, service and experienceWOW! Thank you for an exceptional experience. No wonder it is the greatest fringe reef ever. I visited today whilst on tour with Outback Spirit tours. Sas and Macka made the trip an unforgettable experience. Nothing was any trouble for the ladies and this made for a super experience. Both ladies provided reliable and interesting information that enhanced the trip well. I am sure I could not repeat it all but still came away with some relevant new learnings and understandings. No question was left unanswered. The best bit for me was the tow around the snorkelling area because Macca could see I could not physically do it myself but with her help I was able to take part and thoroughly enjoy the whole experience. A million thank yous are not enough to express my gratitude. THANK YOU. AngieWritten 16 September 2024

We had a very entertaining and informative trip with Conner - he had certainly done his homework with passion and we couldn’t fault his extensive knowledge of the reef and its inhabitants. He was able to pitch his delivery at all levels and “chased” different sea creatures so children, and we, could be excited by seeing them. There were several small children on our trip and at no time did they appear to lose interest. Well done Conner!

I did the 2 hour viewing and snorkel trip. This was a great value trip with very knowledgeable staff and a minimum of corny tour guide jokes. Craig was clear in his explanations and guidance and Nay and Sam gave excellent snorkelling instructions and kept a careful eye on us swimmers. I recommend this tour company as they were ecologically concerned but nicely focussed on their customers too.

My partner and I did the glass bottom boat tour yesterday, and from the moment that Nay picked us up in the bus until the time that she dropped us off we had a wonderful time. Nay was very informative on the bus trip and kept us amused by her stories of the local area including the boat wreck and the lighthouse. The highlight of the tour though was the boat trip where Craig's knowledge of the reef flora and fauna in the area and dry sense of humour entertained us for an hour. He showed us various parts of the reef and was clearly familiar with the local inhabitants, actively seeking them out. The snorkeling was well supported, and those less confident were well looked after. And yes, when the boat is moving the glass bottom is obscured by bubbles (duh!), but that's why Craig stopped and gave us plenty of opportunity to view. Overall, a great experience and one we would happily do again.

Ningaloo Marine Park is a World Heritage Site with over 500 species of fish and 250 species of coral; moreover, it's pristine and very protected. We've never seen so many varities of healthy-looking coral. We saw several colorful fish (parrot fish, Clarke's fish, convict fish, clown fish, chromis, angel fish, butterfly fish, and even reef sharks.) I couldn't get over the color of the water - bright turquoise. Alek was a great captain - professional, knowledgable, humorous, and passionate about making sure we got the most from our visit to this lovely part of the world. Photography is difficult, so I recommend purchasing his DVD as a great reminder of your time on the stunning reef.

We went on the two hour tour, upgraded at no charge after the one hour tour was cancelled due to weather condition. Alec, the guide, was knowledgeable and quick witted, and we felt totally safe in his hands, both on the boat and for those who went snorkelling. When they did need to change the tour due to the weather, their communication with us was excellent.

Was an informative and engaging tour with a friendly & funny tour guide. The only downside was the weather (which is obviously uncontrollable). Even so, amazing to see all the different kinds of coral and marine wildlife, whilst hearing lots of interesting information about what we saw.

This is a great half day introduction to the coral reef. The coach was spot on time in picking us up from our accommodation, and the guide Nae was very knowledgeable in pointing out landmarks and places of interest on our way to the boat ramp. We saw a large turtle and many different species of fish, all before we started our snorkelling on the reef. We even had a tiger shark swim under the boat on the way back to the jetty! Gavin the skipper has had decades of experience on the water in Exmouth, so really knows the different species of marine life and where to find them on the reef. Highly recommended.

Took our 2.5 year old on this tour and it was great. Unfortunately cold and windy prior to the tour, but visibility still was okay and it warmed up towards the end - cant control the weather.
The tour itself was enjoyable, our tour guide was lovely and she addressed the commentary with humor and made it fun.
Great for kids, would definitely recommend :)
