      Snorkeling trip to Carnac island
A fantastic time was had by the whole family . The crossing was super chill. The sea lions were out on the beach and a few swam around and in between the swimmers . The bbq on the boat was great. Grace is an excellent cook and the snags were fantastic. Skipper & buggsy looked after everyone with good humour. Thank you all for a great time.

A trip to remember at a reasonable cost. Excellant crew. Nice trip from Fremantle. Great swimming in beautiful water and not cold. Seal lions in abundance on shore but only a few in the water mixing it with swimmers. Bbq on board very nice. Everyone well looked after on tge whole trip.

      Carnac Island snorkel trip
We did the Carnac Island snorkel trip and it was an absolutely amazing experience! We would highly recommend to everyone. We even had sea lions come out and swim with us!

      I wanted to love it
I had booked the 4 hour adventure tour to Carnac Island as a birthday gift for my husband for 24th February.  This was the same day of the Rottnest Channel Swim. We arrived 10mins before our 8am tour to a full boat with other passengers including staff Aidan, Lockie (and I can't remember the name of the other staff member). To be honest we were surprised the tour wasn't cancelled because the weather on this day was terrible from the start. It was cold, windy and rainy at parts.  We would have appreciated being given the option (either prior to the day or on arrival) to book an alternative date, but we werent given any other option but to show up and continue the tour. We set off for Carnac Island as planned and as you can imagine, the boat ride was extremely cold and windy (our mistake for not bringing a jumper), and as it was such a full boat there was nowhere to sit so we had to balance as best we could while standing.  At one stage my husband and I were standing near the front of the boat as there was a table we could lean against for balance. We were told (a bit impatiently) by Aidan to move to the back to sit down (because we were blocking the entry to the front room and had to keep moving out of the way). This was understandable, however with such a full boat of people all the seats were taken and there was nowhere to sit or lean on for support. So we moved to the back and balanced as best we could while standing. On arrival at Carnac Island the waters were extremely choppy and murky. We reluctantly jumped in for a snorkel but the group only went into the water once (my husband and I were in the water for a total of around 20mins) because it was just too murky and choppy to see anything. It was really disappointing and not the enjoyable experience we had been hoping for. The tour ended up coming back to Fremantle a bit earlier than scheduled (likely due to the dangerous water conditions). All in all, it was not the enjoyable experience we had hoped and paid for. We had heard such great feedback from friends who had been to the island previously, I have no doubt it would have been amazing in better weather conditions so we were really disappointed that this tour went ahead and we weren't given the opportunity to reschedule for an alternative day.

Sea Lion snorkeling at Carnac Island
the water. The departure point was easily found, the crew fun and informative, and the boat ride was super smooth. Arrived at Carnac just before 9am, before many other boats, and had close to two hours to snorkel and swim along the limestone cliffs and outcrops, over creamy sand, corals and shells while seagrass waved two and fro. Then the sea lions came to play around us and we were not disappointed. So beautiful and graceful! Back to the boat, starving(!) after all of that swimming and we were greeted with hot bbq sausages and salad. Perfect day and great value.

Snorkelling with Sealions around Carnac Island
The crew were amazingly helpful and so support of novices, taking the time to help fit the mask and snorkel and talking me through how to breathe. The boat ride over to Carnac was smooth and the crew were happy to chat, and the experience itself was spectacular. It's an early morning start, but it means you arrive before the party boats and have the cove to yourselves for quite a while. The dolphins on the way back were a great bonus!

      Incredible experience
It was an inredible experience. We were very lucky, we watched lots of whales jumping and took amazing photos and videos. The staff was super nice. They even extended the time of the tour because we all were amazed by the amount of whales…

      Confusing and disappointing experience
This was very confusing and disappointing experience. It felt like we were in a rush as we drove 40 min one way to see the whales. The crew didn’t give a chance to the whales to get used to a boat. There was a big group of whales in a distance but capitan needed to hurry up to come back. All we were able to see is a back of the mother whale and a small baby from a far distance. But the most disappointing thing was that as soon as we spent another 40 min for return back, there were plenty of whales near the jetty playing and jumping. It means that we spent 80 min of 2 hours tour just for nothing. Another thing is that there were no ocean specialist that could tell the info about the whales their migration and how they behave. Even without the proper whale watching experience it could be a knowledgeable one but… it was just a waste of money. Moreover, I feel very sorry for people for whom it was the first experience seeing the whales. I don’t think they even understood what an amazing creatures swam nearby. Every one looked sad and disappointing.

      Awesome adventure and crew
What an amazing experience! Just blown away by the size and gracefulness of these majestic creatures. Plenty of breaching and play amongst the whales and we saw heaps of them too. The skipper and the crew were fantastic and very personable and friendly. Overall just a great day out and well worth it. As a tour guide from Margaret River myself, I highly recommend this tour and wouldn't hesitate for a second recommending this to anyone who wants to watch whales from a fantastic boat with a great crew. Thanks guys for making my day off a memorable one. Just awesome!

      A wonder whale watching experience
We had a wonderful time! There were lots of whales about, although they tended to dive when we were near and breach in the distance. The skipper went to a lot of trouble to get as close as possible and was friendly and informative. There were only about 15 people on board, so we all had excellent opportunities to take photos. The trip was much longer than originally booked (almost 3 hours) because we spotted a couple of whales on the way home so the skipper detoured to get closer. The weather was superb for sailing and the crew were more than welcoming - I thoroughly recommend this charter.

      Mother nature at its finest.
We throughly enjoyed our whale watching trip from Busselton yesterday. We were fortunate that we saw quite a number of whales up close and from a distance. The boat kept a respectful distance from a mother and calf and we felt very lucky to see nature at its finest. There were some whales having a great time breeching in the far distance and they had stopped by the time the boat reached them but hey, thats nature and we were happy just knowing they were there. The crew were very knowledgeable in particular the young girl with the pony tail ( I'm afraid I didn't catch her name).

Amazing experience. The crew was very experienced and was quick to spot the whales and approach them safely. We saw over 15 humpback whales, some of which came right next to / under the boat. The crew also gave us information about the whales throughout the tour. The 2 hour duration was more than sufficient to see those magnificent creatures up close. We were originally booked for a Sunday, but the crew informed us 3 days before that the weather on Sunday was not great, and recommended we change our booking to the Friday or Saturday instead. They quickly amended our booking after we replied them via email. 100% would do it again.

A fantastic experience! Only 20 people on the boat meant we could freely move around to get to the best spots on the boat, it very very intimate and private. We saw Southern Right and Humpback Whales, it was truly amazing. 100% recommend if you’re visiting Augusta.

The crew were really helpful and very good at spotting the whales. It was quite choppy and a couple of people were a bit seasick and the crew were so good at helping and reassuring them. We were out for more than 2 hours. The trip is good value for money and I would recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on this whale-watching tour and were able to see between 5-10 whales in total throughout the ride. The guides were very informative and gave clear instructions on how to spot different types of whales (we saw both the humpback and the southern right). It was an incredible trip and I highly recommend All Sea Charters if you're looking to watch whales in Augusta.

We went Whale watching yesterday and had an amazing time. We not only saw Humpback whales that showed off and breached for us numerous times , we also joined the 1% club and saw not one but two Pigmy Blue Whales. The crew were amazing and gave us loads of information about the whales and how to spot them. I would describe this tour as fun , friendly , professional and informative. A must do if you’re down in this region. Plus it is a small family run Aussie business - get behind it and enjoy a great tour. Our tour left from Dunsborough

Our first whale watching experience and we really enjoyed it. The whales were a bit shy and tended to disappear when we approached, but that is the nature of the game I guess. Paul and Taylor were very friendly and knowledgeable. We liked the fact that we could sit next to Paul and hear his thoughts and experiences. We probably saw a dozen or so humpbacks in 3 hours. No breaches, but the occasional tail and flipper.

This was a top-tier experience from start to finish! The tour lived up to its website promise to be a bucket list experience, on an awesome boat with a wonderful crew in a world-class location. What was especially appreciated was the personal effort the team made to contact us to warn that upcoming weather conditions were deteriorating, and to organise a place for us on an earlier tour so we could see the whales under blue skies on calm seas. Thanks to everyone at All Sea Charters!
