Alfredo was very knowledgeable of the area and was able to give us some information about the history of the area. Tolantongo was beautiful, and definitely worth the drive to get there. It was something we never experienced before and very lucky to see and swim there! He offered educational videos to watch regarding Mexican culture and history. Our tour guide at Theotihuacan was also fantastic. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this experience. Be advised it’s roughly 2.5 hour drive each way to and from Queretaro. Bring a wide brim hat and lots of water.Written 17 February 2025

This was an amazing trip and Christian was such a great tour guide. He gave us so much knowledge not only about the actual destination but also along the several hour drive getting there. The views are spectacular, the plant life incredibly beautiful, the pools were calming and so enjoyable but the icing on the cake was the trip to the waterfalls and caves! It would have been worth the trip just for this experience. I really enjoyed relaxing in the river after the excitement of the waterfalls and caves.Written 4 November 2024

We really enjoyed learning about the cheese and wine in this region. Our time in Bernal and Tequisquiapan was also great getting to see and learn about these charming towns. We imagined the drive to be very long and tedious but the time passed quickly. It is 3 1/2 hours each way. Sunday is the busiest day of the week so best to choose either Tues, Wednesday or Thursday. Our only complaint is that our car was a Toyota small 4door compact with no leg room and we sat in the back. It was very cramped and uncomfortable. We had expected a van or bus. Our tour guide in particular, Carlos, was incredible. So knowledgeable and kept the energy up all day. He made sure all of our needs were met - even though it was already a 13 hour day for him he asked if we needed to make any additional stops. He was very flexible with time to make sure we got everything we wanted from the experience. I’m really blown away at how well run the entire day was thanks to Carlos. The places we visited are beautiful, the eye is pleased to see so many beautiful places.
The guide was super friendly, helped us with photographs and explained a little about what we were visiting. The food was delicious. All the guides know each other and greet each other, which gives a space of tranquility and a feeling of security.

Views were astonishing, and we had an amazing time. Drive is long, but packed with scenic mountains, and our guide told interesting stories along the way.
Be aware that the route may vary based on the weather - our tour skipped Cuatro Palos due to the chance of fog covering the view, which was a bit sad.

Alien Huerta was a wonderful guide! The views & stops along the way were incredible! An unforgettable experience. Alien made sure everyone was comfortable with food, water, breaks, and photo opportunities. He was flexible with stops & games kids played! He made a long ride seem fast.

Our guide(Alain H) was fantastic. He made sure we took enough pictures and never rushed us. The sights were breathtaking. Words or pictures can explain how pretty this area is. I would highly recommend this tour to all ages.

This was a super fun trip! We stopped at Bernal for coffee and pastries then took a gorgeous drive to get to the hike of Cuatro, Palos, which had breathtaking mountain view’s. The walk to the waterfalls was worth it. Leave early and return late to make the round trip in one day. A great way to experiment the best of Sierra Gordas’s beauty.
