The national park of Tomorr mountain now offers a lot more opportunities to hike, trek and explore the area. This tour can be arranged in two options, to reach either the castle of Tomorri or the highest peak of the mountain. With the first option, we will drive for about 1.5 hrs to reach the village of Tomorr and then from there start hiking up toward the castle of Tomorri. The hike/trek is around 1.5 – 2 hrs depending on the travelers’ level. We will then reach the place called ‘Qafa e Skures’ in where we will rest and enjoy the fantastic view of the mountain just in front of us. We can have lunch in here or around 80m above, at the castle (ruins of the castle). An experienced local guide will be with us to tell us some of the most interesting stories, legends and cultural heritage of the area. We will get down through another shorter way, to enjoy another view of the park and village as well.

      Do it, Do it!
Ervis was a great tour guide and have us lots of information about Berat and Albania. We had a beautiful walk up to Bogova Waterfall and chance to take a dip (very cold in October!) but stunning. The journey from Berat took an hour but the views of the mountains and scenery were exceptional! The wine tasting went down a treat! While the actual wine tour itself was quite short, the wines and the nibbles were delicious! A must do tour when in Berat! Thank you to Ervis for being a wonderful host 😊 Hazel & She

Amazing experience with a very helpful guide
The canyon hike was an amazing experience—a must-do for anyone visiting Berat. Genti was very involved and helpful throughout the trip. One of us had a knee issue during the trip—Genti took good care of it and tried his best to ensure that we got a good experience despite the bad knee.

      We definitely had 1001 adventures
1001 Albanian Adventures was an awesome tour company who was easy to book with over WhatsApp and took excellent care of us despite an intense rain storm! Erilda and Geraldo are wonderful caring people who care so much about their community - we're lucky to have learned about Berat from them! Also check out the Solidarity Shop next to the 1001 Albanian Adventures office for gifts, and tastings of local products!

A fabulous tour, very fairly priced
Spectacular tour! I've taken many tours while traveling, but 1001 Albanian Adventures is probably the best organization I've ever experienced. Take a look at their website, because they are a unique loval cooperative very worth supporting. They are small, but this gives them the ability to provide a really personal experience. The hike is short and easy, the waterfall and swimming spot were beautiful even in October, and the winery represents new sustainable agriculture in Albania. The wine is quite good, grown from unique varietals, and recognized even in France. Like all tours, your tour guide and driver are the people who make your day, and the staff at 1001 knows Albanian history and is open about sharing their personal views and experiences. This tour will leave you smiling. Don't miss it!

      Best Hiking Experience Ever!
Genti was knowledgeable and a true leader. He led us and left no one behind. The trail course wasn't easy, but he made us tough and enjoy it. He also took a lot of photos of us along the way without being asked and those were memorable. Thanks Genti. I booked this trip the night before and whoever I had contacted with via WhatsApp was so nice and friendly. He explained and answered all the questions genuinely, even followed up afterwards to ensure I truly enjoyed it. Thanks

Lots of fun. Ervjs was a great guide and the day of activities was great. The waterfall was beautiful and a super easy hike to get there. Wine tasting was great (it's a very swanky winery) with little nibbles.

      Great tour!
We had the best day touring the waterfall and visiting the winery. Ervis, our guide, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He really made sure that we had a great day. Would highly recommend both the company and specific tour.

A great and sunny day in September
We had a great day at the waterfalls and the canyon. Especially the canyon is worth it. Genti, our guide, knows a lot about the region and explained many things around (animals, herbs, plants...) It is apparent, that he is a local and has many years of experience in his job. In total we were four persons (with Genti five), which was a good size of a group. We had a great day with best weather at the end of September and can recommend to book a tour with Genti!

      Excellent trip!
Gentjan was a great guide on this tour. Took time to work out what we each were interested in. Driver felt very competent and safe. Really knowledgeable about the local environment. The canyon and swimming were fun for myself and young adult sons alike. Thank you!

Mount Tomorr offered us a serene atmosphere with a clean environment devoid of bestial harm. One climbs mount Tomorr without fear of being harmed by any wild beast. At the top of the mountain, one is able to have a good panorama of Berat, its environs, and other surrounding communities. Tomorr also offers spiritual benefits to those who believe; as it serves a holy place of scarifice for the Muslims. Being the tallest mountain around tourist city of Berat, one is sure of having a good feel of physical featness after the hiking!

We had a beautiful, spectacular climb to the top of Tomor Mountain. It was only April and we were walking through deep snow. Genti, our guide, always knew the best way and kept encouraging us to persevere to get the reward of the magnificent, breathtaking summit view. He had also thought of regional homemade food. We felt well guided through the day by pleasant conversations.
It remains for us an unforgettable day.

Mount Tomor is a beautiful panorama. I really love this landscape. First time I came to Albania, for me I am very happy when I went to Tomor mountain. Very interesting to see, when we are in the top of the mountain, we can see almost all of Albania, Greece and some part of Italy.
