Bucket list tour of the Canyons
Joel & The Bindlestiff team put together a memorable, informative and most enjoyable 3 day tour of the canyons. The time in the vehicle between the canyons and stops may have been long but Joel made sure we had enough rest stops to stretch our legs. He used the time in vehicle to share his wealth of knowledge and experience of the area and we felt it added significantly to the experience. It is alot of driving but complety worth it to see the spectacular sights. The bus was full, and for tall people it could be cramped and a place to put our day bags other than at our feet would have been good, (the only negative)! The accommodations booked for each night were more than comfortable, with great amenities and close proximity to resturants for the evening meal. The staff at each hotel were friendly and happy to help in any way. (my son left a parcel at our 1st hotel and due to the distances we travel, we could not return to collect it, but the hotel made a plan and sent it to our final desitination before flying home). The food was plenty and very tasty, the stand out lunch was definately the fry bread taco at Goulding's Stage Couch diner. The itinerary was amazing and covered everything and so much more. The stop for lunch on day 1 in Seligman and the historic Route 66 was fantastic. Having conversations with the townfolk (super friendly) and walking the streets was very enjoyable and so many opportunities for photos. We did the optional Helicopter ride and would highly recommend it to give you a view of the Grand Canyon that is unparalleled. That 1st sight of the Grand Canyon takes your breath away. The sunrise on day 2 from the north rim of the Grand Canyon was emotional and breathtaking. As you drive with a guide through the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park later that day, you are transported back in time and Stephen our guide brought its history and people to life. Ending the day with sunset at Horshoe Bend gave me goosbumps and stunning photos, along with significant memories made. One of the highlights was walking through Antelope Canyon with our guide on the morning of day 3, it was mesmerising and we were awestruck by its beauty. The time spent in Zion National Park was exhilarating, we enjoyed lunch and then hiked to the Emerald Pools all the while enjoying the majestic mountains surrounding us. Photos do not fully capture the grandure and the majesty of Zion Canyon. All the while, Joel is exoanding our knowledge and minds with information about all the places we visted or even just drove past. I canot recommend this tour enough, if you can only choose one tour to do on your holiday, you have to do this one with Joel.

SOUTHWEST HIGHLIGHTS 7 DAYS Camping Tour
First off, thanks to our passionate guide Kaitlyn for making this trip unforgettable. 7 days traveling the Grand Circle and she made sure to sneak in some really great memories and then some. Now theres really no words to express how incredible and breathtaking these destinations are, most of them are unlike any other place on earth! Zion and Bryce park are both unbelievable, even the drive between them is stunning. We had an unscheduled lunch break in Capital Reef, which I was very happy about because that meant we checked off every National Park in Utah! Arches has so many iconic photo opportunities and again we were surprised with a sunset hike to Utahs most famous Arch formation. Canyonlands, and Moab are both so interesting and you're given time to explore what you can. Monument Valley had yet another surprise for us because after an amazing day touring the Navajo region, we set up camp right along the ridge overlooking the iconic mitton buttes! Climbing down into Antelope Canyon is a must, you'll never get another opportunity to see a slot canyon like that again. Last but not least, the surreal Grand Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, I don't need to say more. This was a very short notice solo trip for me, and I camped the whole way, so here's what I learned. You're going to have very little access to electricity outside the van, so pack an extra charger. Pack lightly on the bug repellent and don't worry about snakes or scorpions, I saw none. Listen to your guide and take their trail suggestions, they don't always hold your hand once you get into the park's, which is nice if you really want to dash toward a specific spot. And lastly, pack some snacks. Otherwise you'll only be eating what your guide can prepare from the coolers. O and get ready to share your favorite road trip music!!!

        Outstanding national parks tour!
I took this tour in Sept 2024 and it was one of the most amazing experiences that I have ever done. From my first inquiry and subsequent phone calls their customer service team was top notch. Really helpful and kind and provided a wealth f info to help me choose the right tour for me. The tour itself is hard to put into words as every part of it was so great! The organization, the views, the hiking in the parks, camping under the stars, meeting great people of all over the world- 12 in total. I highly recommend this company and I will be back to take to Alaska tor in 2025!!

        Wonderful Tour!
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The landscapes were spectacular, lunch was provided in a picturesque spot and our tour guide, Joe, was incredible. He gave us so much background information on everything we were seeing/about to see. I can't think of another guide who was as personable and knowledgeable as he was. Thanks for a wonderful tour!

Thanks Bindlestiff and Joe for the unforgettable trip!
Booked this as part of our honeymoon, and honestly, it made our trip! We had so much fun and saw some unforgettable sights. The tour was so enjoyable that we were saying we should have booked an even longer one because three days felt too short! A big part of what made the trip such a great one was our guide, Joe Rickertsen, who was friendly, knowledgeable and all around fun to hang out with. We learned so much and loved our interactions with him. If given the option, we'd definitely choose him to be our guide again for our future tours!

Fantastic tour of Death Valley with Chloe.
It was an entertaining and learning experience for us. Our tour guide, Chloe made the tour very entertaining as well as educational. We learnt lots of things about Death Valley and relevant cultural history which we never knew. About 10 hours tour never had a dull moment. The van was very comfortable and Chloe’s perfect driving made it a very safe tour. We wish to do more tours with this company with tour guide like Chloe. Chloe never rushed us at any moment of the tour. She always was aware of our various needs.

Fantastic private tour - highly recommend!
What a fabulous experience! We booked a 3 day national parks tour with Bindlestiff as a private tour, with stops at Zion and Bryce National Parks, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, the Grand Canyon and Route 66. From my first inquiry, Bindlestiff was helpful and accommodating. Our tour guide, Chloe, was super knowledgeable, entertaining, helpful and an all-around superstar guide. She was able to accommodate all of our needs and help our family (including three generations) make the most out of our so that everyone, from age 10-77, could enjoy this magnificent part of the world. I hope to book another tour with Bindlestiff some day and would enthusiastically recommend both Bindlestiff and our guide Chloe to anyone who wants a taste of the Southwest.

        Great Experience
This tour was pricey but it was a wonderful experience. It was sunny every day and the temperatures were mild. The views were unforgettable. Everything was well organized. We had only four people on our tour so it could be tailored to our preferences. The tour guide, Adrian was knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, a fantastic experience. We'd recommend Bindelestiff tours.

Great time on winter tour of Utah parks.
Fantastic tour, everything was pretty much perfect. Adrian was a great guide, and handled the snow storm, which might have affected things, very well. In the end although really cold at times, was beautfiul to see the contrast of ice and snow on the red rocks. Definitely would consider doing another Bindlestiff Tour in the future.

The tour was amazing. Mike was very knowledgeable and well spoken. He was very fun to talk to. He shared a lot of historical facts about Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, and other places we visited in this two day tour.

The tour was very well planned and well organized overall in terms of time, logistics, and was a very smooth experience !

Hats off to Mike for making us comfortable throughout and being flexible to accommodate our requests in the extreme heat a few times !

We would definitely recommend this tour from Blindstiff and especially Mike as the tour guide!

Ok- so these guys are the real deal. The expectations of a ‘guided tour’ were met and easily exceeded. Not only are they safe drivers, they are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty. John (team lead) is outstanding as were the two ‘trainees’ (Martin and Hogan). Definitely doing Bindlestiff every time; I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

This was an amazing trip. There was so much to do and see and our Guide Patrick McIntire was amazing . Patrick was such a caring gentleman and so knowledgeable about the areas we visited. It was obvious that he sincerely cared about each of his guests. When our trip to lower Antelope Canyon was canceled because of flooding P atrick was quick to make arrangements for the group to visit Zion National Park. It was a seamless transition and Bonnie and I were delighted. I would recommend this trip to anyone and with luck you will get Patrick as your guide.

Adriann was an exceptional guide. I can’t rate him or this tour highly enough. You can see some of the most beautiful parts of the southwest and have a confident and knowledgeable driver. I toured as a solo female and felt safe the entire tour. I’d recommend to any solo females looking to travel here.

This tour takes in a brief stop at an overlook of the Hoover Dam, a lunch stop on Route 66, and an afternoon/evening and the following morning at Grand Canyon South rim. The guide (Joel) was very knowledgeable about the history along the route we travelled, and about the Canyon. The tour gives plenty of time to explore the rim trail, shops and sights and also, for those a little fitter, to explore the trails down into the canyon which offer a very different experience and perspective. The minibus was modern, well air conditioned and comfortable. The lodging was at Tusayan just outside the National Park, and was comfortable and clean. The only downside to this tour is the relatively long drive from Las Vegas to the Canyon.

Fantastic tour! We are well traveled and have been on many tours worldwide and this one no doubt is in the top 3! Our Guide Jon was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, informative and shared many stories, history and geology about the area. We stopped at Route 66 on the way to the Grand Canyon which is a fun quirky town on Route 66 arriving at the Grand Canyon for lunch on the rim. We were given many options for the afternoon including walks, helicopter flights, family activities, exhibits and ranger programs. We met up for a once in a lifetime sunset along the rim of the canyon. Truly special. The hotel was great- in the park town of Tusayan with plenty of meal and bar options for the evening. The next morning we were given the option of an early start to catch the sunrise which we recommend that you do not miss! Jon was equipped with OJ and Muffins which made a nice sunrise sunrise picnic. We spent the morning catching up on the walks and exhibits that we hadn't got to the day prior and headed back to Las Vegas after lunch which put us back in plenty of time for dinner and a show. All round great company, great tour guide and great tour! Thank you Bindlestiff Tours!
