    Best museum of our week
Oh boy! Prepare to be amazed. Our teenage sons walked out of there better humans. I’m telling you. Talk about a hands-on museum. There are rooms where you can learn how to actually create a song as a music producer. Add electric bass here, add organ there. Just incredible.

    Incredible
Very nicely done museum. I spent over two hours here and went through in detail. The videos are amazing, and I watched the entirety of every last one of them. There were also Grammy outfits, musical instruments and more. The clear highlight is the Highway 61 exhibit, incredible. I am giving 5 stars even though some improvements are possible. The microphones for the collaborative songwriting booths did not work. Many of the demo instruments did not work and none had any instructions. Finally, I personally would prefer not to see videos of Ike Turner and think he should get only a passing mention due to his domestic assaults.

    Unexpected pleasure
There are many things to see & do in Cleveland, but be sure & put the Grammy Museum on your list. It’s a real gem tucked away in the crown of the Mississippi Delta.

More GRAMMY focused Than Mississippi Focused
We came here thinking that the museum would be a Mississippi focused museum since the original in L.A. would be the true “GRAMMY Museum." And while they do have a small section dedicated to Mississippi musicians, this is definitely a GRAMMY museum first. And that’s really on us since it’s in the bold letters and literally the name of the place. If you love the GRAMMYs, go. If you love Mississippi musicians, skip.

Top Notch, Newish Museum in Sleepy Cleveland
This was a surprisingly good museum of music through the years. Famous musician outfits, a full band set up that you can try the instruments, mini recording studios, 35 minute video (fun to guess the singers) of past grammy performers/collaborations, and other interactive exhibits. That MTV 40th anniversary exhibit brought back memories of my teen years. We spent two hours there and could have spent more time. Got discounted tickets through Groupon

    Well worth a visit
Excellent visit - worth the time to get here. We attended a business reception and had the opportunity to tour the facility as well. Excellent exhibits, interactive 'band', and MTV 40th Anniversary exhibit - all very well done.

    Outstanding Museum
The Grammy Museum is an outstanding museum filled with important history, costumes and equipment. It provides an excellent historical recreation of significant musical milestones and the musicians and others who are credited with the growth of the musical industry. The displays, graphics, artifacts and videos are excellent. It's a definite must visit when in Cleveland.

If you’re in Cleveland and love the Grammy’s and Music-stop here!
This was a nice stop in Cleveland right on the edge of Delta State University. The 5 year old Musuem is beautiful, and they have done a lot with interactive displays. It is a smaller Musuem, but if you stop to ready the displays and watch the videos, we spent 1-1/2 hours there. The 40th anniversary MTV display was fun and brought back child-hood memories. So if you are a lover of music and Grammy history, this is definitely worth a stop!

If you like looking at clothes this is the place of you
There are 2 Grammy Museums in America one in Los Angles and the other in Cleveland, Ms. I love music and had high expectations but boy was I disappointed. It was a decent price for the self guided tour but I was not offered a senior discount and later found out they do have one. if you want to see what clothes the artist wore at a certain performance this it he place for you; If you care to see anything else this is not the place for you. It was like a huge fashion show. I found really nothing of interest. We could have left in 30 minutes but I tried to make it a little longer. For reasons not explained to me Tony Joe White was the featured artist in the gift shop. His CD's were for sale for $25.00. I know that is nowhere near the Amazon price. Save your money there is really nothing to see here. It is a beautiful building that cost some enormous amount but there is no creativity in what to put in it.

    The Must-Do in Cleveland
We are here in Cleveland visiting family. There’s not much to do. But this was definitely a great way to spend an afternoon. I don’t really follow music all that closely and even I found it really interesting. A lot of interesting exhibits. Interactive exhibits. Fascinating information about the Grammys and about how this area of the south has influenced the music world. Anybody of any age and musical taste will enjoy this museum. Highly recommend.

    What A Pleasant Surprise!
While in Clarksdale we decided to drive 30 minutes to Cleveland, MS. to visit the GRAMMY Museum Mississippi and it was well worth the short drive. There are actually two GRAMMY Museums, one in Los Angeles and this one in Cleveland. This is a quality museum that covers the history of music as well as current music. It provides a cultural perspective to music and the role of Mississippi musicians and singers and how they influenced and are influencing today's music. The multimedia presentations & interactive exhibits are fabulous. I really did not expect to find a museum of this caliber in Cleveland, MS.

    Great experience
I wanted to visit for my birthday I thought the area would have been built up considering it is a tourist attraction but you can tell it’s one of the moor poorer cities in the state. Great service Ample parking which was free Small souvenir shop Loved the interactive activities and so did my teens and 7 year old. From Cardi B to Muddy Waters it’s all there.

This is a cool museum in a new building. There are a lot of interactive displays, boards about the history of the Grammy awards, clothing, instrument and memorabilia from musicians. We spent about 45-60 minutes wandering around. There’s nice gift shop as well. Definitely worth a stop.

Loved the staff (very friendly), and on Sunday we practically had the place to ourselves. A great, comprehensive, and very interactive museum with plenty of video, audio, and immersive exhibits, as well as one of a kind memorabilia. Great for music and history lovers alike!

Beautiful, well designed museum that is worth driving out of your way for. The building is sleek and modern and the exhibits appeal to all ages. Don’t miss the 25 minute film of the best clips from the Grammy’s -- lots of good memories here. There are numerous interactive exhibits and listening stations. I especially enjoyed the “make your own recording” room/studio (very hard to explain) and on playing back, it made me realize what a bad singer I really am. Luckily, it is a soundproof room. I spent two hours in the museum, and could have stayed longer. Staff is friendly and helpful and the gift shop is very nice.

Loved this place! Three main sections - Mississippi music, Grammy awards, and MTV history. Well laid out with helpful curator notes. Interesting exhibit with electronic instruments you can play (with headphones so others don’t hear you.) Easy to find and parking available.

This museum is fascinating and I could have spent hours, maybe days, there. So many clever interactive exhibits where you can learn some cool dance moves, make your own record and learn about the history of popular music form the Delta Blues, to Jazz to Rock and Roll to Hip Hop. It's all there! And if you want to see the dress and shoes that Taylor Swift wore to the Grammy's in 2022 - that's there too.

I'm of the music anyway, and am also a musician of sorts. My traveling companions basically had to drag me out of the place - I was having fun with the interactive exhibits, e.g. recording a song, playing the drums. Try the latter! There's a focus on Mississippi and traditional artists here, with plenty of chances to listen. What a great museum!

What a wonderful museum located in the college town of Cleveland, MS! Everything about the museum is first class from the variety of music represented to the interactive features that provide fun for all ages. I knew that so much music was born in the Delta and surrounding states but when you see it all represented in one place it is impressive to say the least. This is the only Grammy museum outside of California and the people of Cleveland and Delta State University where the museum resides should be proud! We spend about two hours viewing displays of clothes worn by musical artists, hand-written sing lyrics, their instruments, and listening to the variety of music represented. You can learn to line dance, write song lyrics with Keb ‘Mo then do post production editing on your song. I highly recommend stopping in Cleveland for a visit to the Mississippi Grammy Museum.
