We had an amazing time on our Volcán Momotombo hike. We have had experiences in the past with other tour outfits where we had to move at other people’s pace and were pleased that we were able to do this tour with just us and our guide for a very reasonable price. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and made sure our experience was one we would never forget. We love to hike at a good pace and are adventure seekers.. so our guide made sure to bring us as close to the top as he could as well as literally run down the volcano on the way back. We couldn’t have been happier with our day. Ps.. We also managed to see an anteater. Coolest day ever.

We had the best time on our tour, including volcano boarding, sunrise and sunset hike on telica and camping in a crater. We also had lunch and breakfast with locals and they also brought us a freshly cooked dinner to the campsite. Due to perfect weather conditions, we also had the chance to walk up to the crater at around 8pm to see the magma. Absolutely surreal experience. And of course Guillermo was the best guide we could have, and he’s also speaking really good English. We recommend this tour to everyone, who loves nature and adventures!

We decided to come to Nicaragua and spend some days for bike touring. Surfing on internet we ended up with this organization and we were very positively surprised! We wanted to start in Leon and finish in Granada and we asked to pedal for around 50 km per day. Then they organized everything including accommodations (in some cases very much basic and in others really nice as in Catarina). Exceptional support by Guillermo, not only for guiding us through the roads but also for all info on Nicaragua, and David who kept the bikes in splendid order and always clean at the start of each single day!!!!! We have also some suggestions in order to please future European visitors like us who like to spend the days trying to live the country we are pedaling in!

I did the San Cristobal hike. Wilmer was very positive and passionate about hiking. They pick you up and drop you off directly at your hostel. You have a nice lunch in a place that supports the local community. They were really friendly and easy to book with. I definitely recommend booking with them.

We went hiking on Maderas, Ometepe. The guide was experienced, knowledgable and fun. As for the hike itself it was challenging due to slippery mud and high humidity. We were lucky with the clouds dissolving when we reached the top.

We did a private (two girls) cerro negro an Talica vulcanos tour, including camping and we had an amazing time. I faced a food poisoning the day we were supposed to start and it was no problem to reschedule. Also during the tour, the guides helped me a lot as I still didn't feel well and missed energy. The guides were very funny and offered a super safe and exciting experience. We enjoyed very nice views, a real camping experience, interesting stories and cultural insights, lots of laughter, a beautiful sunset and sunrise, good food and nice hikes. Price - quality was great. Thanks for this really amazing experience!

Memo and Jose were the best tour guides. We had the best experience horse back riding through the Pueblo and taking in the amazing views. Lastly, they took us to a lake and it was beautiful and peaceful and then they prepared a delicious meal for us. 10/10 recommend!!!

We did the horseback riding tour which included a car ride to the horses where Meme (our guide) told us stories of nicaragua and its history. Next, we got on the horses and rode through the pueblos until we got to a beautiful hiking trail that led to a perfect, isolated, beautiful lake where Meme cooked up delicious burritos before dropping us right back at our hotel! He was great and accommodating and I highly recommend any of his trips!

Loved the trip our guide was amazing and so well informed about the history of the volcanos and about Nicaragua. Felt comeplete safe and in good hands. Thorough explanations of everything was always provided.

Amazing trip! First we went vulcano boarding, had lunch and slept at Telica vulcano! We were are alone there! Beautifull views and we saw some magna! Must doo in Leon!!

In mid November 2024 we went on what ended up being a private tour (just my partner and I) with tour guide Guillermo to the pristine and beautiful Laguna de Asososca. Guillermo was articulate and knowledgeable, as a local from this area, perfect English, and great stories. We spent most of our time at the laguna alone, which made it even more special. Beautiful laguna, good food, great guide, and the walk in and out isn't too bad, loose gravel and dirt, quite steep, but only for about 20 minutes. I highly recommend Fun N Sun Travels and especially Guillermo - muchas gracias amigo!

They brought the sun and the fun!!! Wow what an experience, there is nothing like volcano boarding, but with Fun 'N' SunTravels they are so knowledgeable they tell you about the history of this volcano, of their country so you are not just there to slide, you end up also learning about this beautiful country rich history.

We had an amazing time doing volcano boarding! The entire tour was well-organized, and our guide was incredibly friendly and charismatic. Hiking up Cerro Negro in the morning was such an exciting experience, and the views were breathtaking. Sliding down the volcano was pure adrenaline and so much fun. What more can we say about Guillermo @ Fun N Sun Travels in Nicaragua 🇳🇮. My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to have a personalized tour of Volcun Cosiguina, in mid October. Guillermo, who was alert to some of our physical limitations, not being able to hike to the Volcano’s rim at fast pace, stopped intermittently upon the trail, where he always seemed consciously aware of when we needed a break. Each time in doing so though, he would give us an in depth explanation of the local ecology, geology, biology and historical background of the surrounding area, and of the country, until we were ready to proceed again. Just being the three of us, we were given ample time to appreciate the stunning views, and topography, of the 🌋 volcano, once we “summited”. We have been on tours in America and Europe, and we can say with assurance, that Guillermo gave us one of the best informative tours we have ever been on; that along with his humor, his interest within our lives back in the states, and him relating that with his own personal family stories along the route, we felt right at home, and special, the entire time. Afterwards he took us to Cabañas Vistas del Pacifico - Hostel, for fresh fish, in the quaint beach town of Jiquilillo. We would recommend this operation to anyone seeking adventure; five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ across the board. 😃
