Kayak through different eco systems from the forest of reeds in the lagoon to the sand spits, bush and farm land of the Bega River and finish where the River meets the sea. We’ll be going at a pace to suit the group’s experience level and have time to really enjoy the natural habitat with guests often spotting egrets fishing by the shallow waters, azure kingfishers perched on the ends of branches and possibly white bellied sea eagles flying above. There really is so much to see and experience along this beautiful lagoon and river system. Part way along we’ll land ashore to stretch our legs, enjoy a lovely morning tea and perhaps even a swim. Guides are very knowledgeable, River is beautiful
The event was awesome. The operators were very helpful from the moment they picked us up at the cruise ship terminal, throughout the kayaking experience, and the return to the ship. The kayaks were in excellent condition and ideal for the river. The guides were very knowledgeable and constantly checked on our progress to ensure nobody was left behind. The photos is their web site reflect the true views - everything looked as (or better) than the photos.

Best spent two hours in Eden
Mel took us for a stroll in her Terrain, showed us the small town, the beaches and the Australian bush. She had a vast knowledge about the flora and fauna of the area and spiced it up with some funny stories of the locals. We had a lovely time!

      Great trip around Eden
Troy was amazing as a tour guide. What a nice guy. So patient with everyone. The tour time ran a little long and he was not concerned (and neither were we). Best tour of our trip so far. We loved his 'detour' to see the kangaroos. :) Amazing scenery. Nice walk thru the national park. Troy was very knowledgeable about the trees, plants and wildlife. Loved hearing about his life around Eden. Loved that the narrative was so informal. Would recommend this tour to everyone. Only negative was that the van has seen better days.

Enjoyable kayaking on the Pambula River for a hit of nature and a bit of fun exercise!
Great way to explore the Pambula River kayaking with about 12 others, and enjoyed the experience of nature you get paddling along quietly. Swim at the halfway point was refreshing, such clear water that day. Our guides that day were good with some helpful tips to improve people's kayaking technique.

The best tour of our cruise: fabulous day in spectacular Eden
HIGHLY recommend this tour! We went with Steve and had an amazing day! He was warm and friendly, and an excellent guide. It was a small group with just our family in the tour (three generations: a 77 year old, 50 year old and 21 year old) that came in on a cruise ship. We had plenty of time to shop at the markets at the Visitors Centre before we left, and then again before we got back on the ship. The pace of the tour was great for our group, with limited stairs. We saw amazing scenery and wildlife around Eden. We saw a mother whale and calf from Boyds Tower, and another 2 whales and calf at The Pinnacles. We could even hear them calling while they were breaching and splashing their tails in the water. Throughout the day we saw a sea eagle, wedge tailed eagle, red-necked wallabies, superb fairy wrens, rainbow lorrikeets, bull stingrays, pelicans, and more. And the landscape is stunning! The picnic lunch was also really delicious, and a gluten free option was available. The stop at Eden and this tour was the highlight of our cruise. It was simply a fabulous day!

      Ebike rental
We had a wonderful time. Briefing was adequate on how to operate the bike. Bikes were in good condition. A little difficult to maneuver given it was our first time.

Really enjoyed a beautiful experience, some wonderful insights to local aboriginal life. Sighted sea eagles, wedge tails and an osprey!

A leisurely paddle in excellent company.
We just finished a most delightful 3 hour tour with Guide David and it exceeded my expectations. the water was so clear and the natural environment made for such a peaceful paddle. David and the team had everything sorted from tasty, fresh fruit and yummy snacks (even a birthday cake for me). dietary requirements were so easily catered for and the equipment was clearly well cared for. I absolutely recommend Navigate Expeditions if you want to explore the local nature.

A relaxing experience and I learned some things...
I was lucky enough to do a Cultural Tour with guide Nathan Lygon before he takes a break. It was a lovely experience added to the beauty, birdlife and environment of the Pambula River itself. It was relaxing and I learned some very interesting things about First Nations' Culture in this area.

Lovely small group tour with stunning views
We had an awesome tour with Navigate Expeditions! It was a small group which we always prefer rather than being packed into a big bus with many others. Our guide was excellent, giving us commentary throughout the tour. The scenery was beautiful at every stop. We saw kangaroo and many pelicans. The highlight was the walk through Beowa National Park. I saw one review that complained about "steep mountainous terrain." Perhaps they were on some other tour because this was not the case at all on the 2 hour tour. The hike was manageable for almost any fitness level, although would not be good for people who need a mobility device. It was easy and we had stunning views. Our guide offered to drop us off right at the ship, or on the main street where there were several nice shops and cafes. We had some spare time before we had to return to the ship so we opted for drop off in town. It was an easy walk downhill back to the ship. It is a small, sleepy little town but this tour was a fantastic introduction to the area.

Relaxing Kayak Experience and Wonderful Guides!
The kayaking was very calm, peaceful and the waters were so insanely clear! My husband and I really enjoyed it. We had 2 excellent guides, David and Keri, and both were attentive, knowledgable and fun! You could see their passion about the area and their work, showing through their guiding. We learned about oysters, different birds in the area, and had a lovely yummy snack on the beach. David had some pretty epic stories, and Keri was so easy to talk to. She alleviated my fear of snakes in the area, as well as helped me identify birds from my poor attempts to mimic their calls :-) . Our group was small and had a great dynamic. Thank you to both guides for the wonderful trip! Jess was equally responsive and helpful in answering questions. She helped when we had a minor hiccup in scheduling and was a pleasure to work with too. We would definitely recommend this tour and company. I found the kayaking was not strenuous at all, and likely many different types of individuals/abilities would be able to participate and enjoy it. Thanks again! :-)

Eden is a great place to spend a day
This is a beautiful area to see as a shore excursion. Our 2 hour trip included a stop at a beach and fishing marina where we saw manta rays and birds, a walk in the "bush" to see the big ant hills and native forest, and a drive around the area. The only disappointment was that is was too short! Our guide loved the area and recommended coming back in September if you want to see whales in the area.

Great overview of a beautiful area.
We were only in Eden a short time for a cruise ship stop. We had five hours off the ship and booked the 5-hour Small Group Tour of Eden. Boy, did Dan make every minute interesting and engaging! Highlights included the Pinnacle Loop walking track where Dan gave us so much information on the landscape, birds and other wildlife in the area. We also saw Kangaroos on the drive, had a lovely picnic lunch that was delicious and toured Boyd's Tower and the Davidson Whaling Station. Learned so much and had a great little group of eight people. Thanks for the great day, we learned so much!

We took a kayak tour on the Pambula River with our guide, Melinda. She was knowledgeable about the oyster industry that is common along the river and spent time pointing out evidence of First Nations' use of the river, as well as spotting a sea eagle nest for us. The morning tea provided was spectacularly delicious!
