We had a fantastic authentic tour with our guide Nalin who picked us at no 2 gate and off we went . We enjoyed all the activities which included visiting the curd maker, the honey maker ,the authentic pottery maker,the salt farm and our wonderful tuk tuk tour of Yala ,the lakes and surrounds with a local farmer. Just brilliant. This is a large rice growing area and we also saw peacocks, monkeys, buffalo and lots of cattle. However the highlight was going to Nalin"s home meeting his family and for them to allow us into their home. We shared curd, had king coconut and one of the best cups of tea we have had. This private tour is the real deal made even more special by Nalin. We highly recommend this wonderful experience.

We had an amazing time with the Beyond Escapes team! Our ship docked at 8:00 a.m. at Hambantota Harbor, and we were warmly welcomed by the team. From there, we headed to Leopard Nest for a truly memorable outdoor lunch in the Yala buffer zone. The private Yala safari that followed was incredible. Our guide was an expert naturalist, and we learned so much about Yala National Park. We even saw leopards, deer, and many other animals. Thank you so much for arranging such an unforgettable tour!

Scenery & villages & local life were amazing & well worth going on this tour. Highly recommended for 4 hour tour. Tuk Tuk component was just great.

Beyond Escapes were terrible. We did 1/2 day tour not full day and pick up from port. They gave us our own safari jeep with a non speaking English driver who did not guide or show us where animals were. We did not get any drinks or snacks that were part of the tour. Note - you will not ever see any leopards or bears as advertised unless ? you are maybe there 5:00am in morning or very very lucky. Very disappointing…

Very disappointed. The journey was horrendous. I managed 14000 steps on my Fitbit whilst in the 4x4. The driver was in a separate cab so we had no commentary. We only saw a crocodile, mongoose, a dung beetle and a jungle fowl. We were pleased we only booked the half day tour.

We went safari at yala. it was morning safari . Our guide was really friendly , knowledgeable and generally a nice person . We saw so many groups of elephants. Lunch also delicious . And also ha beyond escapes our travel partner thank you very much .

Basically food is finominal . Journey is wonderfull . Excllent experience such a beatifull country .
