About
Come take a ghostly historic tour of the southern tip of Tybee Island! Starting at the historic Carbo House, you’ll be greeted by your knowledgeable local ghost host for check-in. You will then be escorted around the South Beach area which is considered the down-front district of the island, it is loaded with shops, restaurants, bars, attractions - and ghosts! We will have a restroom and cocktail break at a family friendly restaurant which has a haunted background and a lot of history. Please be advised if you would like to wander the sandy beaches to look for shades and shadows, pets are not allowed on the beach “unless it is a service animal”. If you do bring baby strollers please be aware that there might be limitations for them on the actual beach, which we can try to improvise if needed.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 10jacksonn0 contributionsParanormal Fun in the SquaresDylan and Bridgid were amazing guides and I loved their comedic interaction on the tour. Using the thermal camera and watching Bridgid use the dowsing rods were definite bonuses!Written 22 January 2025
- 30kaseyw0 contributionsGhost tour was so much fun!!Tanaeya was awesome! We had the best time walking around and learning about everything. We didn’t feel like we were in a history class but she knew her stuff and kept it to where you wanted to know more. Not a dull moment! I would highly recommend her!Written 11 November 2024
- tomrN1186NL0 contributionsGhost/Busted Paranormal InvestigationMy partner and I did the "Ghost/Busted Paranormal Investigation" at the Sorrel Weed House" in late October. Dylan, Brigid and Aubrey were all fantastic and knowledgeable guides. The investigation was extremely interactive and interesting. There were plenty of spooky moments that raised an eyebrow. Highly recommended for anyone that is a sceptic as well as the "i want to believe" types - and for the true believer (like us).Written 8 November 2024
- matthewfJ4963JU0 contributionsTanayah was great, historical and fun without gimmicksTanaya was awesome. I’d been on a ghost tour in Nola and it was sooo kitschy. She had a simple black shirt on with a skeleton. Just spoke like a normal person and didn’t have any theatrics. But you could tell she was so into it, like she herself was a fan of the ghost tour/ paranormal. Extremely conversational and loved the more historical aspect. I definitely believe in an afterlife , still unsure about ghosts, but nevertheless she didn’t try to sell you on that too hard. Just told it like it was and how some have seen ghosts.Written 7 November 2024
- cindydZ8185ZX0 contributionsGoosebumps! Our guide was very knowledgeable and the stories were fascinating even though this sort of this creeps me out! Lol. We took a selfie at the last stop Owens-Thomas house. Looked at our photos later…. Well it appears we captured something very odd!! Anyhooo, we recommend this tour! Enjoy!Written 21 October 2024
- Q3768EAglennr0 contributionsFantastic Ghost TourThis tour was exceptional. Dylan, the guide was a pleasure to spend time with. Not only did he give us the benefit of his knowledge as a parapsychologist, he shared a wealth of Savannah history to put the ghostly tales into context. The best ghost tour we have been on. If you're in Savannah and want a fun two hours of history and dark tales, this is the trip. I cannot recommend it highly enough. A gentleman and a scholar!Written 18 September 2024
- jolened1880 contributionsGood ghost stories..My sisters and I very much enjoyed our paranormal walking tour! Dylan was funny and knowledgeable, and we loved being allowed to play with the emf and other devices.Written 16 September 2024
- 769tarynm0 contributionsSuch a Fun Group ActivityWe visited Tybee Island/Savannah for a girls' weekend and we were really looking forward to this tour. Dylan was an awesome guide and he answered all of our numerous questions. We got the explore the Sorrell-Weed House and the squares in Savannah with the ghost hunting tools he provided. It was very informative and entertaining. Highly recommended!Written 12 August 2024

Our guide Selah was very knowledgeable and gave us some interesting history as well as some fun ghost stories! - Jet616692153230 contributionsVery DisappointingI just have to start off with this was the most disappointing ghost tour we have ever experienced. We were hoping to learn about some of the dark history. It started out with a good story then went downhill quickly from there. In the description I thought we were stopping half way at a haunted pub for a drink, and some history behind that place, however we ended up a Fancy Parker’s gas station. Waited for about a half an hour for people in the group to use restrooms, get slurrpies, and their dinner! Then when we did finally restart the tour all you could hear were people slurping their drinks, and smell their chicken dinner! There were a lot of children which were all engaged with their distracting conversations between themselves and their families, so much so we could not hear the guide and her stories whatsoever. We specifically chose the latest tour in hopes to avoid this situation. We were very wrong. The guide was also not very engaged at this point with the ghost tour and stories we paid to experience. Instead was not interested in laughing and joking with the others in the group. For the money we paid, it was very disappointing and I would like to request that you please refund us our money for 2 people. We have been to several ghost tours and walks in the past and this was by far the worst experience ever. It is definitely not what we signed up for. The description of the tour was nothing from what we actually experienced.Written 7 July 2024
- 123candacej0 contributionsLoved it!Absolutely fantastic! We highly recommend this tour and can’t stress enough how amazing our guide was. I definitely plan on going back.Written 22 June 2024
- 123candacej0 contributionsAmazing night in haunted Savannah! ❤️❤️❤️👻Bridgette was amazing!! She was the best tour guide ever! This tour was so much fun! My family and I learned so much from Bridgette about Savannah and it’s haunted past and present. My 4 year daughter had so much fun hunting ghost in Savannah. We got to use paranormal investigation tools and had cocktail at a haunted hotel bar. Our tour guide went the extra mile to show my family a great time! Ask for Bridgette! We will be back soon!Written 22 June 2024
- amandahJ1825ID0 contributionsLocal Tour guide, terrifying experienceWhat can I say other than if you want an ACCURATE ghost tour of Savannah this one is it. This is actually terrifying, I felt sick, our tour guide Brigid was a Tybee/Savannah native. She is the perfect person to give these tours as she is a paranormal sensitive. You actually get to handle paranormal equipment and communicate with spirits. Seriously skeptics be warned this tour is not for the faint of heart, this is a historically accurate tour given by a LOCAL. Logistically tour is pleasant, you don’t walk too far and get to sit down and rest in the middle of the tour. It is 100% for the paranormal enthusiast. I traveled specifically to Las Vegas to see the Zak Bagans museum and I felt more connected to the spirit world in this 2 hour tour than that supposedly haunted museum. Well don’t Brigid, I won’t sleep tonight or for the rest of my life.Written 18 June 2024

We had a blast! Amnesti was fantastic and kept us entertained with stories and jokes throughout the tour. We’ve taken quite a few tours and this was definitely one of the most fun. This tour gave us an opportunity to hear stories about Tybee that we’d never heard before, even as locals. Ricky was a great addition to the our as well - he had lots of fun stories to share about Tybee’s history from the perspective of a longtime resident.

We had a great time on this ghost tour of Tybee Island. Our guides, Brigid and Dylan, were such a pleasure to meet and were so fun and extremely knowledgeable in paranormal activity and the history of the island and it’s ghost stories! It was a beautiful night in November and the tour was so interesting it did not feel like we had been walking for two hours!! Not a single complaint from my 10 year old or two teens. The equipment we were able to use was very cool. It was definitely an experience we won’t forget, and I highly recommend!

We were the only one in the group but it is off season, so it was cold as well. More of a history of Tybee Island than a ghost tour. Would have loved to see inside some places and actually use the devices that were shown. Also, we aren't drinkers and it did seem like a lot of our stops referenced a good place to drink or buy shots. Lol. But she didn't know:)

Thank you for the review! I will speak with the guide who did your tour because they are supposed to give you the equipment options since we provide dowsing rods, k2 meters, a thermal camera, etc. even though you are a party of two, you should of had more options to use the other equipment. I do know that you both had a dog with you from the picture that was taken of you two at the end of the tour. Tybee is a dog friendly place but the beach does not allow them access and is a hefty fine due to the ecosystem so you wouldn’t have had the complete experience going onto the beach so it sounds like the tour was improvised around that but it should have been discussed with you, our apologies in advance for that inconvenience. You do get the chance to go into two haunted locations which is the Rockhouse, which is a bar and restaurant( family friendly) and then the Sandbar which is strictly a bar but has had a lot of haunted experiences and video footage that we show you of what has happened in that establishment. I’m sorry that it seemed like it was emphasized to have a cocktail, I’m sure that wasn’t her initial intention. They are used for that purpose but also used as a bathroom break option. If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to give us a call! Thank you for being sweet and again I will have a word with her. -Kind regards, Brigid “Owner”

Best ghost tour I’ve ever been on! Our guides were super informative and fun and did a great job. One of them had all of the jokes (that were actually really funny!) and the other one could read your aura and tell you what she saw (which was very cool!). We were given different tools to use along the tour which made the experience that much more engaging. We’ve been vacationing in Tybee for years as a family and had no idea there was so much haunted history there! Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Tybee. We’ll be going again too for our next visit as they told us the tour is constantly changing and new things are added.

Amnesti was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history on Tybee. We enjoyed learning new things about the island and though we didn't see or hear anything we did get good responses from the dowsing rods. Overall a very fun experience.

Stories felt made up. Very little actual history given just stories of sightings of spirits in various buildings. Don’t waste your time or money.

Hello,
It’s unfortunate that you didn’t enjoy Tybee in itself. All of our information is actually sourced and fact checked. Nothing is made up and sourced from the historical society, newspaper articles, and actual local accounts. You took a paranormal walking ghost tour of the south end of the island. Not a history tour, even though we do provide plenty of history on our tours, you did book a ghost tour.

My family and I went on this tour last night. It was our last night in Tybee and I was really looking forward to it. We go to Savannah and Tybee about 3 times a year. I’m not exaggerating when I say I have done hundreds of ghost tours. I have to do same tours over and over, and my family makes fun of me because of that lol. Now, I was very excited about this one, because it was a new one for me and on Tybee Island. Usually the guides are ok. Every now and then I will get one that blows me away. Well, last night.. that happened. Brigid was super! She was very informative, knowledgeable and knew so much. There was never a dull moment from the very beginning. She also gives you ghost hunting equipment which was very fun to use. I cannot wait for her to open up the North Tybee Tour because I will definitely be going to that one next time. If you’re sitting on the fence on this one, GO! You won’t regret it. The only regret I had was 2 of my family members couldn’t make it at the last minute basically. I highly recommend this tour! She’s awesome and I give 5+ stars ⭐️
