Overview
Satisfy your appetite for adventure with this 2-hour paddle boarding tour of Key West’s mangrove ecosystem. Paddle downwind across shallow waters of Key West’s backcountry to learn about the geological structure of the Keys, as well as the species who call it home. Spot some tropical fish, jellyfish, sea cucumbers, and aquatic birds along your way through the winding mangrove creeks.
What to Expect
Depending on what time you chose for your tour, meet your guide and group 30 minutes before your departure time.
There’s no paddle-boarding experience necessary to go on this tour, so don’t be nervous if you’ve never been on a board. The waters are super shallow, so you can feel comfortable maneuvering your way as the tour goes downwind through the Key West waters.
Along the journey, your guide tells you all about the geological structure of the Keys as you cruise down the mangrove-lined creeks. See the mangroves up close, and learn about the species that inhabit the area. You might even get a chance to spot some tropical fish, crabs, starfish, jellyfish, sea cucumbers, sponges and aquatic birds.
