Itinerary
You will arrive at least 15 minutes before your departure time.  Prior to arrival, you will receive an email confirmation for your trip that includes a link to our electronic waiver (can be completed using a smart phone, tablet or computer prior to your trip), directions to the outpost and parking, as well as any recommended items to bring.  With your online waiver complete, the check-in process is very fast and we start getting your gear needed and detailed instructions and safety information for your trip at your designated trip time.  Once you have your gear, you are then transported to the put-in location.  You will raft for approximately 1.25 - 1.75 hrs (depending on river flow).  After the rafting trip we will load the trip and return to the outpost where you will have the opportunity to view the photos of your trip on large screen monitors and have the option to purchase the photos and additional merchandise.

Overview

Consistent rapids will keep your attention the entire trip. After a fun warm-up section of unnamed class III rapids, you will drop into Nomad rapid then immediately finding yourself in Fall River rapid.  More continuous class III rapids lead you to the 1/4 mile long Phoenix rapid followed immediately by Deliverance hoping you stay in the boat. This section of Clear Creek offers plenty of opportunities for whitewater surfing and then the final rapid, Outer Limits, followed by a fun scenic section through the town of Idaho Springs.  This trip is for people looking for excitement and adventure and will keep your attention the entire time.

Low water-still a good time!

We signed up for the intermediate trip. Because of the low water it was more of beginners with a couple fast rapids at the end. Roscoe was our guide and he was hilarious. Made the trip a lot of fun. We got stuck on a...More

Heart-Thumping, Toe-Curling Fun! Great Guide!

I did a lot of research picking a rafting tour as I am a beginner and had 2 - 17 year old girls with me. I wanted respectful FUN and that is what we got. There could be more thought put into dividing customers/paddlers appropriately/evenly...More

Great Rafting Experience

The water was pretty low during this trip, but our guide Ryan directed us really well and we still had a good time. Would definitely recommend for beginning rafters as they were very informative and straightforward about everything you need to know. We booked the...More

The guide was an amateur !! KNOW UR GUIDE AND HIS EXPERIENCE

Your rafting experience depends on the guide. Our guide was super over confident. He made our trip horrendous. He was responsible for drowning me and my husband off the boat. He gave wrong instructions ! It was clearly evident that he is inexperienced. We needed...More

Your guide makes or breaks the experience

This is the first negative review I have ever written for any establishment but I feel it is necessary for parents to be aware of what they may experience. I believe myself to be a very fair and open-minded person and would never publicly criticize...More

The water is always very cold, around 40 degrees because it is snow melt from the mountains.
