    Historical and fun facts
Very informative. Both historical and fun facts shared. Using headsets made it very comfortable to listen while roaming a bit further to take photos.

    More than History
Upon meeting our guide he found a way to connect with each group. He lived there or had been there or knew something abut the visitor's area. Will took us through town telling stories about events, buildings and people. He also added helpful hints about where to eat, who has a good happy hour, safe areas of town, etc. We returned to two of the places he mentioned for margaritas and good bakery. He was upbeat and of course there were dad jokes which was ok too.

Very knowledgeable and fun guide. Highly recommend doing this tour.
This was a really fun tour filled with facts about Denver, the history, dad jokes and creepy true crime. If you only have a few hours in Denver, this is the tour to do.

Did something touch me on my forehead?
The temps were supposed to be mild, but it definitely got so cold that I had a hard time focusing on what the guy was saying!! Brr! Some spots in the park were definitely much colder, we could all feel it. Our guide had a lot of info to impart and spoke way too fast, stumbling over words, which I felt could be improved by just slowing down. Very interesting anecdotes though! I learned a lot. The next morning, I woke up with a "V' shaped little cut in the middle of my forehead on the hairline!!? So weird. I know for a fact I didn't bump my head and went straight to bed to warm up as soon as I got home... How strange.

Great history of Cheesman Park and some spooky stuff too
The tour was really interesting and had its funny parts. Our guide had so much information to tell us! He knew all the history and has some personal experiences/stories as well. He talked really quickly but maybe because he had so much to get in to our tour.

All You Need to Know about LoDo
Will was informative and entertaining. We took the walking tour at the beginning of our trip. That helped us plan how to spend the rest of our time in Denver.

    Spooky
Loved the cheesman park ghost tour. The tour guide knew his history and was able to bring us back in time to when cheeseman park was Denver’s first cemetery. Equipped with squeaky lantern and all!

This tour was literally the best part of my day! I also had the pleasure of doing both Will's Whiskey, History and Outlaws tour along with his wife Rachel's, 1.5 LoDo Walking Tour. To no surprise Will was equally as AMAZING as his wife! He not only knew a great deal about the city and its history, but he could tell you based on your favorite cocktail the best bar to find it at! Who does that?! Being quite the lover of libations as I am, I greatly appreciated that! My friend and I also asked about a great karaoke spot to visit that evening and even though he didn't know the name of the establishment off hand he went out of his way to get in touch with us after the tour to relay the information. A stand up guy! Don't sleep on this tour!

Will was a fantastic tour guide!! It was my first time in Denver, so taking a walking tour to see historical sites and hear about the figures that helped shape Denver into what it is today was seriously the best way to start our stay.

Our guide was willing to move at our speed and tailored topics to our interests, and while we certainly weren't trying to stump him, there wasn't a question he could not answer. Will took pictures of us throughout the tour with our phone, provided umbrellas for us when it rained, and he provided hand sanitizer and took other safety measures given the current COVID-19 restrictions.

We also really appreciated his tips and recommendations for the remaining days of our visit in Denver!!

This was such a great tour and Will was so knowledgeable about the history of Denver. The stops were also nice because we could rest while still hear some of the background of the landmark. I highly recommend this tour on your first day so you can decide what you want to explore afterwards.

I've lived in the Denver area for 25 years and have never taken the time to learn about Denver's history, until now. What better way to soaking in the history than soaking in some whiskey history and samples along the way. Will was very attentive to our interests throughout the tour, asking how much history we wanted to hear about, and making sure we were well hydrated. He provided a great range of whiskeys to sample, including several that may have become new favorites for us. I would recommend this tour to visitors and locals alike if you have interests in both Denver and Whiskey history.

My husband and I took this tour with our 2 young adult children (21yo+!) and loved it. It was a very cold day, but Will kept us mezmorized with his encyclopedic knowledge of the history of Denver and the intertwined history of the development of the whiskey business in the city's story. We really enjoyed his primary research and his storytelling ability. I'm actually not a whiskey drinker at all, but I learned a lot about the making of and different kinds of whiskeys, Scotches and Bourbons. We really loved the walk- through of the actual process at the end of the tour. Maybe come with food in your stomach, so you can handle the high levels of proof better than I did. Thanks, Will, we had a blast and learned a ton. Our kind of tour!

My husband and I took this tour with Will and had a blast! We're both natives, but we learned so much about Colorado and the founding of Denver. Not to mention, its deep roots in beer and whiskey culture. It was a great excuse to walk around Lodo and enjoy a few cocktails! Will was an excellent, knowledgeable and friendly guide. The pace of the tour was perfect... I didn't get bored and never felt rushed. I would recommend to all those who care about history and like to have a fun time doing it.

Great start to the tour meeting at Nallen's Pub, great little place to get started. Had some no-shows so more for us, I suppose. After a quick history presentation, we proceeded out to Larimer square and continued learning about how Denver was founded, the architecture and other fun facts about this beautiful city. I thought that Dairy Block was one of the most interesting places we got to see and it was beautifully decorated. Will even took the time to snap some photos for us before we proceeded to Seven Grand for a tasting session and a more focused whiskey lesson. We then proceeded with the tour, talking more history about architecture, people, and places before ending up at Mile High Spirits for a distillery tour. Excellent tour and presentation at Mile High. Will was able to talk to us about the distillery and distilling process while experiencing the sights, sounds, and smells of an active distillery. Finished off with some Mile High Spirits tasters and a chance to purchase the ones you like on the way out. Highly recommend this tour!

This is the second time I’ve done this tour and I’m beyond impressed! The research will has put into this tour is incredible, you can feel his passion for history. His knowledge and appreciation of whiskey is also remarkable. He’s built some great relationships with local whiskey distilleries and bars which he shares with his guests.

Definitely eat something before you start the tour as the sampling are extensive. My boyfriend and I enjoyed all of them but were a bit tipsy by the end of the tour.

I have recommended this tour to many people and will continue to bring friends and out of town guests on this adventure.

I booked this tour for myself and parents to explore downtown. We were blown away my the research the tour guide had done and his banter and energy were contagious! My mother has a bad leg and yet, he was able to maintain a safe pace for her while keeping good time between all the stops. Each pub stop and multiple places along the way were filled with history and salacious stories. Whether you are new to Denver or have been for years, you will learn something on this tour while getting to taste some fantastic whiskey
