Ric is amazing. I had a great time surfing and I will be recommending this to everyone. Please book a lesson with him he’s very knowledgeable and so chill. I had only surfed one other time prior, and was able to stand on the board and surf 🏄‍♀️. Thanks Ric!!

Great way to spend an afternoon! Ric was a great coach and he consistently got the kids into the right zone to catch waves and both our kids were up on their boards quickly. Kids loved it and we booked another afternoon. Note that the beach is rocky and shallow in Malibu so hard on the feet.

Rick was great surf teacher. Had everything ready for us and gave great lesson and tips on how to surf. He had wetsuits and surfboards for our skill level, and took us to a great spot for surf beginners. He also gave us good tips of what to do and where to go around scenic road in malibu. 5 stars!

Ric was great! We treated our two young adult kids to a lesson while we were on vacation and they both had a fantastic time. He provided the wetsuits and boards and started on the beach by teaching the basics before heading into the water. By the time I came back from changing into my swimsuit, both were in the water and up on their boards! He was a super nice guy, seemed to be a great teacher, and even gave us some tips for local restaurants. Both kids gave the experience rave reviews as a highlight of our trip! Thanks, Ric!

I booked the private surf lessons for my 3 daughters (ages 16, 15, and 12). They were nervous but excited to try. I can't recommend Ric enough. He stayed in constant contact with me regarding the booking and had wetsuits and boards for the girls ready to go! His instructions were clear and easy to understand and the girls had the best time! They wanted to continue surfing when they were done.

Soo happy my friend booked an early morning Paddle boarding in Malibu when I was visiting L.A!! She goes all the time with her family and it was the only thing I really had on my "to-do-list" when visiting her. It was my first time but Rick, from Hana Paddle boards, was awesome and made me feel totally secure and comfortable right away and had brought a wet suit for me as well. It was a Beautiful clear morning and just 5 minutes after getting into the water and on the boards, we were greeted by a group of Dolphins that came to say hello! Just Amazing!! Such a wonderful way to start the day and I can really, really recommend to do this and Contact Hana Paddle Boards!! :)
